The hotel is in a beautiful building right in the heart of Reggio Emilia, close to restaurants, cafes, shopping and gelato. The staff were very accommodating and promptly supported us when we needed. The breakfast spread was fresh and had a lot of variety. The room was clean impeccably everyday.

The ceiling in the shower of our room was too short to stand up in (for reference I am 5.3ft tall). The building is old and the electrical seems to also be old as the plugs in our room were inconsistent with power (the staff did help us when we asked). We had to ask for an extra pillow as only one very thin pillow was provided per bed. The room was on the top floor of the building and we had to sleep with the windows open because it was very hot, even when the temps weren’t that warm outside. Since we had the windows open, the noise from the street was somewhat loud in the early mornings from garbage trucks and street cleaners.

We loved our stay here. The location is brilliant for exploring the delightful city of Reggio Emilia and not just because one of the best ice cream shops is at the end of the road--don't miss it! The hotel is mainly used by people on business as there is not a huge tourist side to Reggio apart from at its major music festivals. There is a huge theatre and famous outdoor concerts. We feel in love with Reggio. It is a real italian city and very happy with itself. It has a very relaxed vibe and exceptional restaurants which are very good at a reasonable price. Eating out in one of the squares with the backdrop of beautiful buildings will be a lasting memory. The hotel staff are lovely and breakfast was a delight-wonderful cake and coffee- but lots of fruit and the normal breakfast items as well. The people of Reggio were so helpful and friendly and it is a perfect city to slow down, stroll, drink local wine and watch Italian life at its best. We will go back and explore the villages nearby--if we can be dragged away from the lovley city.

A fantastic hotel in a great location in the city center, maintained in a beautiful, traditional Italian style. The rooms are very spacious and finished with great attention to detail. The incredibly helpful staff assisted us in ordering a taxi right to the hotel door. We will also fondly remember the gentleman who helped with breakfast service and always greeted everyone with a smile. We highly recommend this place, as well as Reggio Emilia itself, and we hope to have the chance to return!

This hotel has incredibly helpfull staff who had no problem adjusting the dates of my stay as well as a room upgrade. The property having a gym is also very helpful if you want to work off the carbs. The room is very spacious and the location is good for being in the middle of Reggio Emilia. For breakfast, a lot of options are provided!

If you are not a fan of a traditional aesthetic, you might not find it appealing.

The room itself was lovely, very comfortable and large. The bathroom was well appointed and had excellent water pressure and temperature. We loved being within walking distance of the main piazza and the shops. We will certainly be back!

One thing must be done! In the confirmation process, guests MUST be told of the difficult access to the hotel. The rising pole in the middle of the street is a complete obstacle to guests. Telling people how to navigate this issue is critical, especially to American visitors when their cellphone is unable to place a call to the hotel and the GPS location is very difficult to find

A real Italian experience! The location, in a typical Italian narrow street, was difficult to find and some very careful driving was required. The receptionist could not have been more helpful and lead me through a maze of more narrow streets to the parking garage which I had reserved. The room was fabulous and so was the breakfast. Sadly we didn't have sufficient time to do justice to the own itself.

Cosy hotell in a very central location, 10 meter to the main square and a walk everywhere in the city. Breakfast was superb italian style, I only missed my scrambled eggs. I could even get my tea at the reception in the evening ! The room was big with a double bed and TV, very clean and comfortable, even with a small separate working space!

Only a wool blanket which in February is not enough, it was cold in the room and I used 3 of them. Why not offer a down duvet when it is freezingly cold outside ?

This comfortable hotel is in the old center of Reggio Emilia very close to the central piazza. The breakfast was very good and the staff was professional and helpful. The hotel has its own paid parking garage.

Amazing and cozy gem of a hotel in historical building. Everything is walkable, you a basically in a heart of Reggio Emilia. Enjoyed the stay, would definitely be back. Breakfast is more on a coffee+sweets side, but everything is delicious.

If you are a light sleeper you can be bothered by early morning glass disposal noise from nearby restaurants

The breakfast was incredible! Excellent cappuccino and a variety of Italian-type breakfast choices. The people working were all very nice.

I wish there would have been more outlets in the room that would accept my converted plug. There was only one, and in order to use it, I had to unplug the light. Also, I would have enjoyed maybe a comforter on the bed.
