The staff was very kind, helpful, accommodating and their English was very good. They upgraded our room to a king size bed that was very nice and the room looked out onto the piazza. The view, king size bed, kind staff and the parking garage made our trip very comfortable. Somehow I missed that parking was $15 a day, so I was unhappy about the last minute additional fees, but let me tell you, I was so grateful for the attached parking garage with service to have the car ready when needed. A great service!!!!! They offer breakfast but we didn’t get to try it. We did however have a light dinner in the bar on a rainy night. We each got the minestrone soup, delicious, and we shared a saffron risotto, also delicious. The water pressure in the shower was very good, but the cold water in the bathroom sink trickled out. They bed with extra pillows and good sheets was very comfortable. The hotel has a long history itself and it’s surrounded by wonderful buildings, shopping, restaurants, piazzas and a great location in between Parma and Modena. However, we found everything we wanted right here, plus a fantastic Reggio Emilia cheese and balsamic tour too, so we never went elsewhere. It was a nice relaxing, slow paced, lots of locals, very few tourists in this beautiful historic town … and the view from our room was fantastic!

The style is old Italian, which we are in Italy and goes with the building, but it did feel tired.

Convenient location, good sized king bed room (I asked for and paid €10 more per day, an upgrade after I saw the single room) generous bathroom size, the coffee and tea making kettle and bar fridge in my room, with a small jug of fresh milk on request. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, as was the bartender and room service staff.

The hallway and stairway carpet is from another time in decor trends, long past, 1970’s maybe, it is jarring, so wrong for a an historic building. Same with the breakfast room, I was not tempted to go in when I looked.

Booked a hotel for 3 nights because of business trip in Reggio Emilia. My room was booked without breakfast as I was not sure that they serve gluten free breakfasts. At the hotel I paid 11 euro for breakfast and there is a good choice for people with gluten intolerance. New towels were changed every day. The staff is pleasant. Hotel is in the centre of the town so it was comfortable to go everywhere by walk. The railway station is 15 minutes by walk.

A nice, old-fashioned hotel, with very big rooms, calm and comfortable. I've stayed many times in this hotel and don't even remember in which room I stayed this time. They are all big, sometimes simpler, sometimes more cosy. Very clean. The breakfast is just fantastic: not only there is a lot of choice, but the quality is also great. The situation is just perfect, in the middle of the old town, near shops, bars and restaurants. I love it. There was no parking place anymore in the hotel parking when we arrived, and our car was full. We had to park just outside the hotel - and it was fine.

The palazzo is stunning and the location are unsurpassed. Internal parking and electric charge were a big plus for me. The icing on the cake was the kindness of a member of staff that reversed inside the property, parked and connected the charger for me. I would have scratched my car

If I have to be really picky, I didn’t like the way it was refurbished. Some of the features of the inside decor are reminiscent of the 80’s.. but it is a detail

We loved the historic, character-filled hotel and fantastic location right in the heart of Reggio Emilia old town, close to wonderful outdoor restaurants. It was a great base for the Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese Factory and Balsamic Vinegar Tour (fantastic) and the local museum (free entry) which far exceeded expectations. We couldn’t ask for a nicer place to stay for my sixth visit to Italy!

This property is in a quaint historical district walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Friendly staff. Nice hotel bar. Breakfast available, but we did not have breakfast during our stay. Room is comfortable with a small, stocked mini fridge. AC works great!

The hotel is in a limited traffic zone which prohibits some vehicles from entering the zone which affected our GPS directions making the hotel extremely difficult to find. Good luck!

The hotel is located in the very heart of elegant Reggio Emilia. It is stylish and furnished with a typical Italian taste. The staff at the reception are extremely kind and helpful. I was given a spacious studio on the uppermost floor of the building. The bed was huge and comfortable. If I come back to Reggio Emilia, I would definitely choose again Hotel Posta. Thanks for everything!

The history of this building. Right in the heart of the city center, many many places are in an easy walk from the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It is an old world style hotel with old world decor.

If you are driving with a car, getting to the hotel through the ZTL is a bit tricky, so be sure to ask for specific directions.

The location of this hotel is very nice and in the middle of the city. Great is that hotel also provided parking for our car. Staff is nice and friendly, breakfast very good with a lot of variety typical dishes. Hotel was totally booked when arriving, lucky we got last three available rooms for our stay. All perfect and professional so I give 10/10! Recommended!
