Rimini is a beach town so we didn't know to expect traveling there in December. Well, we weren't disappointed at all. The hotel is across the street from the beach and promenade and there are several shops and restaurants nearby. We had booked a triple room and were upgraded upon check-in. The room had one main bedroom and and area for a daybed. The bathroom was modern and everything was in working order. The big plus is that we were given a full size terrace that overlooked the beach area north of the hotel. The bedroom also had a balcony which was very nice. We used Rimini as a jumping off point to visit San Marino. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the city itself. The staff were excellent and accommodating. They wanted to make sure we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing against the hotel at all. The location is great. However, if you are walking, it will take close to 20 minutes to get there. Several roads in Rimini do not have sidewalks so you are dodging traffic. You have two options from the train station, go around the north end of the station and weave your way through the streets or go south from the train station and connect with the pedestrian/bike path that goes to the beach. The latter is a little longer but definitely worth it.

Great friendly staff, good location (next to beach), clean, good breakfast. 10 to 15 minutes walk to main train station / 15 to 20 mins walk to Rimini old town. Turn left on the main street and 10 minutes down the road is the Rose and Crown which has live music each night and is probably the most lively place in late October. Plenty of other bars, restaurants and shops in very close proximity. Room has a fridge and a free to use safe. Cleaners do a great job daily. Good free Wifi. You can get a free small A3 paper map of Rimini and Riccione at the reception, which is very useful to have in your back pocket when visiting. Some things are a little old fashioned, but that adds to the charm for me. Everything is clean and tidy. Good Value. I will be staying again. :)

Car park extra €20 per night: but in fairness on street parking can be bad in the area and this charge is representative of parking charges at other hotels in the vicinity. The space was pre booked so was always available on return and there were no problems. Once parked, the car keys need to be handed to and kept at reception. There were no issues with this. Hiring a car was in hindsight an expensive mistake, as I hardly used it once I realised how good the trains are! The train station is close , the trains to all the other surrounding towns and back to bologna airport are frequent and cheap (€5 return to Riccione or Cattollica). Though its a bus to San Marino....A car isnt really that necessary and next time I'll just use the trains and not bother hiring one!

We were upgraded when we arrived so got a beautiful spacious room with a hugh balcony. There are lifts in the hotel which makes access very easy. Beautiful view of the beach. Its location is excellent, right next to the beach and located close to many restaurants. There is a lovely prominade running adjacent to the beach which brings you to the marina and the big ferris wheel. The breakfast is really good value with a wide selection of food, including hot food. You can walk to the hotel from the train station (25 minutes walk). The whole area is safe.

I can't think of anything I didn't like

ROOM: We had very spacious room, with balcony and a terrace with sea view - building is right next to a beach, so you get a panoramic view over the sea and the city. Really big bathroom, big wardrobe. We brought a stroller and even with it it was plenty of space inside the room. BREAKFAST: Excellent breakfast, literally you got everything there - sweets like cornetto, cakes, waffles, granola etc. You can get non diary milk like soy or almond. A lot of savoury plates, excellent foccacia and there is a whole dedicated table where you can have some vegan cakes (about 3 types - you got a choice!! nice!!), some glutenfree bread, rolls and even rice-cakes! LOCATION: Great location, it is about 15 mins by foot from train station, next to JFK square, actually located in the centre of beach boulevard. Around you got lots of restaurants, shops and even 2-3 supermarkets. So you got everything there. Very close to the hotel you can find a outside public gym and lots of playgrounds for children.

Can't find a thing I did not like there.

Fantastic large hotel which I got for an amazingly low price (the lowest price I've ever paid for a hotel room!). I got a free upgrade to a slightly larger, more accessible room. I appreciated this greatly as the room I was given had 1 double bed and 1 single. As a solo traveller, I slept on the single as this has a much softer and more comfortable mattress. I had a wonderful view of the beach and the Adriatic sea. The location is perfect if you are interested in spending time by the sea. The breakfast was included in the price and was the best I have experienced in any hotel with a huge range of hot and cold food from around the world and even a coffee bar. The bathroom en-suit was huge and the room overall was well appointed. The whole hotel felt fresh and very clean. Staff were helpful and spoke perfect English. Quiet, tranquil, beautiful.

There is not much at all to fault here. The only note I would have (not a complaint at all!) is that it is a little bit of a walk from the station along residential streets so it you are coming from there be sure to bring a map. The walk should take around 20 minutes.

Perfect location, very close to the beach and restaurants! It was 2nd time when I was there and the hotel was very nice . The room was clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 small kids with a nice sea view . The guys from reception were very polite and helpful , the same the guy from the bar , the cleaning ladies from 3rd floor very nice and polite The breakfast is very good with a lot of variety to choose from .

I think the price for sun lounger on the beach is too expensive .

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise and excellent stay for me. I got a fantastic deal on a massive corner room on a high floor with a great balcony and a separate patio. To be fair it was the off season so I'm sure that's part of the deal, but the views were incredible, especially at sunrise. The location is great, right next to the beach and near many restaurants and various shops and bars all within walking distance. There are bus stops a few steps away that take you all around and to the main Rimini train station. I also walked to the station in about 20 minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself was warm, clean, and inviting. My room had TV, A/C and heat, huge bathroom and wardrobe, extra twin bed and seating area/desk, and a refrigerator with coffee/tea/kettle. I really enjoyed the trip and would totally stay again.

Overall so great. Mattress was a little hard.

I booked this hotel as I wanted a quality room for a reasonable price which was on the beach front but close to shops/restaurants. I was pleasantly suprised when I arrived at the hotel. It's not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is lovely and I was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was polite and checked me in quickly. When I got to my room, I was amazed at how spacious it was, the balcony overlooked the beach front and all amentities worked including the fridge and safe. The bed was comfortable (two twin beds pushed together) and the air conditioning was powerful so I had it on low most of the time. The room is decorated in a vintage italian style, while not modern, it worked for the hotel. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great. I enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evenings before heading to dinner, it was a great place to stay at the end of my holiday.

The only issue I had was out of the hotel's control, there was what I can only descirbe as a pop-up rave stand, which played incredibly loud music around 10/11pm for about an hour. The music was so loud I couldn't sleep without earplugs, but as soon as it was finished I had a good nights sleep.

Once again the staff really looked after us. A big thank you to Domonic who greeted us so warmly, we had been delayed and arrived very late. He even came out into the cold carpark to help us, when we were parking. Also it's the quality of the breakfast that brings us back each time. What is unusual is to have freshly cooked veggies on offer and the cheeses are beautiful. Valentina was very helpful this morning and made me a wonderful Almond Latte! See you again soon.

The room was a little chilly but it is early March.
