Clean, peaceful and safe place to stay. Lot of families with children. Public transportation works quite well both to Rome centrum and Ostia. About 3-4 buses are going to both directions in an hour. To Colosseum it takes about 1 hour by bus + metro. You can use for example 7-day public transportation ticket which costs 24 €.

The opening hours of the pool is quite bad, only 10-19 every day, so we couldn't swim before or after being the day out in Rome or Ostia. This may be good for those staying in the camping area the whole day but if you want to see Rome efficiently you cannot really use the pool. We would have liked to take a little swim in the pool before going to the city at 7-9 am or after being to the city at 9-10 pm. Also the grocery store is open only until 8pm. The market in the nearest village is about 20 min walk away which is quite long after being out sightseeing the whole day.

Great place to stay for a family when you want to combine some relax for the children in swimming pool (great swimming pool for small children) and visit historical sites of Rome. The bus stop is right next to the camp. In camp, there is everything you need (supermarket, bistro for coffee, evening drinks, ice-cream etc.). It is also close to Ostia, if you want to visit the old roman Ostia town, which is pretty cool (only the beaches in Ostia are not too nice). You need to get a place close to the pool to fully enjoy the stay.

The camp restaurant next to the reception was very bad – bad food, bad service. All the other bistros were fine, though. There is a lot of trash at the bus stop. I would definitely recommend cleaning it up regularly. Even though it doesn't belong directly to the campsite, it gives visitors a bad impression of the place. Most of them go to the bus stop to go to Rome city center. Reception is a bit mess. Children swimming pool could be a bit warmer.

Plenty of space outside. Lots of shade under the trees. Several activities for children. Very good for whoever is driving. Fresh air. A small but good supermarket. Lots of volleyball, soccer pitches and a fair calisthenics/workout space.

Can be too noisy in many situations (shows, nearby road), risky to get there by bus + walking (750m of no sidewalk and no shade). Oppressive for pedestrians inside the premises due to the non-stop car (trucks, vans, motorhomes, etc) circulation with no exclusive, safe sidewalk for pedestrians (particularly for children)

It’s a great location just outside Rome with a bus connecting you with the city. It’s a great place for kids; very nice swimming pools for kids of all ages. The camping is in between beautiful trees and especially cute at night. The bed was comfortable, the cabin was also very ok with functioning airconditioning (slightly loud though). My daughter liked the playgrounds, the mini club. They do make sure there you are entertained. Stuff does speak English, enough to communicate. It’s a great place if you would like to combine visiting Rome and having something to do for kids.

We had the small cabin for three people. I did not like there was not even a broom in the cabin and you need to rent one, so after couple days we needed to buy something to clean up the floor a little. There is no kettle, no mugs, nothing.

Staff were fantastic. It was a great position to travel into Rome and to Ostia. The public transport routes were really easy to follow and very frequent allowing a lot of flexibility between staying at the site and travelling out and about. The organised trip to Pompeii and Naples was brilliant! Thank you to Barabara for this. The entertainment was cheesy but varied and fun - the team worked so hard to keep the children entertained. Air con in accommodation was a Godsend!

Beds were a little uncomfortable. The pool felt a little unclean at times due to the amount of people in them and the cloudiness of the water.

Perfect place for families, the pool is big and designed in a very good way for children. The entertainment team is super friendly and doing their job perfectly from the activities at the pool, the mini club and the daily party for children. The mobile-home we stayed in was clean, has everything and the veranda was spacious.

I was disappointed when I arrived at 11am and has to wait an hour in a long queue under the sun with my family to ask a question to the reception. I don’t think it is very difficult to provide a covered area near the reception, especially for children, or may be more staff at peak times. No variety of food, but it is ok.

Friendly staff easy access to Rome. Nice bungalows.Has everything you need..The takeaway beside shop was good and good value..Supermarket close to village with great variety of foods reasonably priced. The prosciutto was delicious and lovely breads from bakery. Also big made to order pizza for e10 . Great value and delicious. Watch roads on walk down . Turn right on leave Fabulous village.You have to walk on grass margin for few 100 yards to junction. Use Google maps. From junction turn down right and use the footpaths (as if you go straight accross the next section of road is very overgrown and dangerous with traffic oncoming) turning down right ,then next left .then left again and supermarket is up ahead on the right . There are other shops on left and a cafe ice cream shop.It adds a few mins walk but safer . There is a shopping mall a few stops towards Rome .Euromax 2 with restaurants on the top floor. Big mall with loads of shops .In Rome went to il Ritrovo a San Giovani .worth the trip.Food fantastic. The village itself had grest facilities. Fantastic pools for all age groups,volleyball .astro turfs basketball courts all safe with a lovely buzz about. Very quiet at night. Our bungalow was fairly new and had air conditioning (which I think most do) .Great to have pn the hot nights. We had a great holiday at fabulous village venturing out to see the sight s of Rome and returning to the pools in the evenings .We would definitely stay here again

Ate at main restaurant on arrival .food there was not great.Maybe it was different in the evening but we decided not to go back.

Excellent facilities for families. Huge shallow play pool great for children. Felt very safe. Further pool for swimming. And a splash bucket our grandchildren loved. The site is very clean. All the staff were kind and helpful. Our cabins were small but perfectly formed.

Our main peeve was the check in. We arrived around 12 noon. To check in. Was told to return at 4.00 when cabins would be ready. We could use all the facilities. When we returned at 4.00 a big queue had already formed. We waited an hour in the sun, to collect keys. Only one person was dealing with us. Surely they could stagger check-ins. Another small issue, lots of Brits, no kettle or toaster. Had to boil water in a saucepan. Two types of coffee pots..

The camping is set in a pine forest, with greenery and flowers, where you can have your privacy, although there are many little houses. There is A/C and for the two-bedroom house there are two bathrooms. The terrace in front of the house is large and you can have meals there peacefully. There is also a restaurant and a take-away pizza shop, as well as a grocery store. We didn't use the pools, but the area looks great, with all the amenities.

You definitely need a car to get to the city centre (we didn't check buses). We rented a car and drove to Garbatella train station (about 20 minutes away) and parked there, then we took the subway, as it is difficult to find parking spaces in Rome.

We loved the village very much, especially the pool, mini club, and the animators. The food was delicious, and the market had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and always ready to help. It was our family’s best vacation!

When we entered the first accommodation, the situation was horrible — it hadn’t been cleaned, the air conditioner wasn’t working, the smell was very unpleasant, and there were a lot of spiderwebs. However, when we mentioned all these issues, they changed our accommodation to a much better one. After that, everything was awesome!
