Villa Duse is our favorite hotel in Rome. Since 2019, we have stayed here four times. We love the beautiful and peaceful neighborhood of Parioli, where we mostly encounter locals in the restaurants, supermarkets, and along the charming streets. Right outside the hotel, we can catch the bus, and within 20 minutes we are at Termini, where we can take the Metro and reach the amazing Roman sights in just 10 minutes. At this family-owned hotel, we are always greeted with a warm smile, great helpfulness, and enjoy lovely conversations. We will definitely be coming back. Mikael og Charlotte

Quiet neighborhood, close vicinity to the huge Ada de Savoia parc and 30 minutes walking distance to Villa Borghese. Also convenient to participate at any events held in Estadio Olimpico (Fori Imperiali). The bus no. 360 will take you to Termini train station in about 20 minutes or further to San Giovanni in Laterano Cathedral for other 15 minutes. The bus stop is right next to the Villa. There's a convenient alternative to the breakfast offered in house. Just 10 seconds further is "Espressamente per te" a sort of cafeteria with plenty to choose from.

The area of the hotel is very quiet and calm, it's the perfect escape from the busy and touristy city. It is quite residential, so if you don't mind a lovely walk to / from the city (about 45 minutes each way) every now and again, then it's a great option to discover a different and more relaxed side of Rome. Try the nearby cafes for a real local's experience! There is also a frequent bus that can get you to the city in 20 minutes, so very convenient too, and we used it often as it was raining! The hotel itself is just amazing, very beautiful and secure building, well maintained garden, and the interior is very elegant and classy. It has an elevator, which is a plus. The room was very clean (and cleaned everyday) and the bathroom was extra spacious and offered most of the hotel necessities / products for our extended weekend stay. While we didn't get a chance to interact much with the staff (we were leaving early to explore and returning back to the hotel quite late), we did get to speak to them at check-out and I instantly felt that they were very friendly, welcoming and warm. They kept our luggage safe all day as we had a late return flight.

Breakfast was continental and they were able to cater to our dietary needs. We did inform ahead of time. There was not as much variety as we experienced in other locations would be the only down side

We found the room a little small and that was not easily discernible from the photos. However the rooms were wonderfully decorated and spacious bathroom. It was hard to regulate the AC temperature and we found it too warm. The staff informed that we are not able to regulate our own room and the hotel was set to 23 degrees. That was too warm for us in the summer.

The distance from the main attractions is like a 20 min only. It was a nice walk and the neighborhood is beautiful, charming and residencial full of great small restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The room is very luxurious and comfy

The only caveat is that they don’t have 24h staff available so we almost lost our international flight or almost had to leave our luggage behind after unintentionally locking ourselves out of the property at 7 am and leaving the bag in the check in area. Parking is also an issue in that area. We had to pay $20 per night to park somewhere else. Just be aware of the extra cost

A beautiful boutique hotel with approximately 10 rooms. The property was gated and elegantly secured. Our room was well appointed and designed in a beautiful classic upscale manner, with tall ceilings, long drapes and it had a white marble shower and bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! It was the perfect size bedroom having a desk and a small sofa. The mother and daughter (apparent owners) that took care of the guests were so very charming, happy and extremely helpful. There was an elevator available as well. Large breakfast option available.

A charming family hotel that left us with a genuinely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The overall stay was very nice, with comfortable and well-maintained accommodations that offered a cozy atmosphere. The staff members were warm, attentive, and always willing to assist with any requests or inquiries. They truly made an effort to ensure that our needs were met, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Although the hotel might benefit from additional facilities or features, the staff's genuine care and service more than made up for this setback.

For us the location was excellent, very quiet pleasant neighborhood which has Villa Borghese park to separate it from the city center. Enough restaurants and local shops to supply what you would need if you decide not to go to the city center, which is on foot about 25 minutes (Spanish Steps). Good working access method, very friendly and helpful reception and household staff.

Nothing all good, only thing missing (also communicated) is a "honesty bar" in the outside area. They have a lovely outside area to sit in the evenings, and a "bar" of some sort would make it prefect.

The staff are so kind and welcoming - I stayed here first on my own and then had such a good experience that the next weekend I brought my 4 year old son with me to stay again. Nothing was ever too much. The location is exquisite - so quiet that it's hard to believe you are in Rome. Each of the recommended restaurants we tried were brilliant. The hotel itself is lovely and I could not fault it in any way (I am a seasoned traveller, and have probably stayed in every hotel in Rome). I am so impressed that this will now be my go-to hotel for hosting international clients in Rome.

Absolutely nothing

One of the greatest hotels we've ever been in. Its’ location is in the heart of a peaceful neighborhood. There are numerous excellent restaurants nearby, as well as an enormous park. There are bus stops nearby that will take you into the city center. The hotel's elegant decor encourages a quiet and distinct atmosphere. A very comfy bed and a lovely private terrace made the room ideal. The hotel was spotless, as was the room. Our hosts at the hotel were a kind and charming family who made us feel at home and assisted us as needed. We would love to return and strongly recommend this accommodation.
