It's such an amazing property which provides a super relaxed atmosphere. Everything was really clean and in really good order throughout the common areas and room. There were lots of small touches and attention to detail that really elevated the experience. The coffee in the morning with breakfast was up there with the best and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee, tea, and drinks were available all day.

Outside of breakfast, there was no food service so you had to go out to eat or buy in supplies. We stocked up on bruschetta, tomatoes and mozerella and had some lovely meals on the terrace with local vino.

What a wonderful "find." Was looking for something in a quiet place – and we found it. Ilaria, the manager, was phenomenal. Not far from Florence (approx 50km,) if you want a day trip with more activities, but we were looking for quiet after being in Florence. . Ilaria helped us find restaurants for dinner and even helped us when we had a car mishap. We will go there again. Especially now that we know our way in and out of all the local areas. 😉

They do not have a restaurant. A bit far away from several villages.

The location is frankly stunning. The pool is also very nice. We also liked the little farm with donkeys and gees

Not quite sure about the interior design, perhaps too bohemian

The Tenuta is a place for idyllic quietness and beauty. The estate is beautifully landscaped. The ancient buildings are are perfectly restored and equipped for their new hotel and restaurant destination. We stayed in the suite Il Magnifico which was a separate building with its one entrance and terrace. In the main building is the restaurant, reception and lounge. The pool is outstanding with comfortable loungers. The staff members are welcoming, pleasant and always ready to serve you. The whole Tenuta is very well taken after. We had a very pleasant time. The village Scarperia is about 20 minutes far by car and has very good restaurant options. At the Tenuta we used to have lunch and once we enjoyed the Michelin starred menu.

Not to mention a negative point but just a suggestion. Present the guests a breakfast menu so they can choose what they want. Now the system is that you are being presented the choices of the breakfast management. In stead of presenting a boiled egg, you can ask your guests what preferences they havo for the preparation of their eggs in the morning. We stayed 4 days and the 3rd morning we started to communicate what we wanted for breakfast. And it worked well.

The styling is beautiful, detailed and tasteful

It feels like it’s more of a business hotel. We came with holiday purpose, and we did not see any other guests. There is no lunch and diner facilities, which we knew, but it gives a very quiet feeling.
