The area is beautiful, very close to the lake and near highway, close to the outlet. The house is beautiful, designed very well, a very nice host name simone. The garden is amazing, with a view, very nice to sit there and relax. Great breakfest that simone makes. The only problem is the small room and toilets that were outside the room (only in our case, to the other guests there were toilets inside the room) and were small as well. Another good thibg is that there is air conditioner in the room. There is a big kitchen with all the equipments that offers the opportunity to cook. It is close the other villages like borgo san lorenzo and barberino. A very good place to stay in, we had great time there.

We liked that we were greeted by the host who showed us the room and around the house. The breakfast was excellent as my husband had scrambled eggs and a variety of cheeses and salami/ham. There were also freshly baked croissants and bread, and usual offerings like yogurt, juice, and espresso coffee. We had access to the internet, and there was an air conditioning unit that we used as the outside was 40C.

Amazing host Simone – we truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. The villa is beautiful, with a lovely garden and a delicious breakfast provided each morning. The room was small but full of charm. Although the location is about a 50-minute drive from Florence, it’s absolutely worth it. After the bustle of the city, it’s pure pleasure to wake up to the sounds of bees and birds.

It is a beautiful location, the appartement had all I needed. The landlord was very available and flexible. Very near you have a lovely lake were you can see and less than a 1KM away you have the Bahia Caffe where you can stay all day and enjoy, music sun and water sports

Keep in mind there is no public transport, so you will need a transport middle to move around

The accommodation is a beautiful little house at Lago di Bilancino. The scenery is calm and serene, and the perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. We were welcomed very warmly and felt welcome throughout our stay. Bahia Cafe with a little beach, sunbeds and a little bar is only a 10 minute walk away.

Our bathroom was across the hallway from our room. It wasn't a problem for us, as we only stayed a night, but just be aware.

Beautiful house and gardens with the beat host that made you feel very at home from the start. Breakfast selection and coffee was excellent and even fresh scrambled eggs. The fact that property is pet friendly is a big plus! My dogs loved the walks by the river everyday. Will definitely stay here again if I am in the area.

Walls are a bit thin (or could be there were just some loud guests for the 1 night). Not the property’s fault of course!

What a beautiful gem this Villa by the Lake is! Not only is it a stunning setting but it felt like a home from home. We were fortunate to have stayed for a week! Despite the rain we enjoyed every minute! Simone was an attentive host and made us feel so welcome.

Nothing - for us it was perfect

Owner Simone was ultra helpful. Helping us travel to and from florence. Short walk through the back of the property to the lake cafe/restaurant. The unit was incredible, kitchen great for cooking.

No public transport, highly recommend getting a car.

Amazing location next to a lake in the countryside - some good restaurants near and a nice breakfast. They do a great job to make you feel welcome and the owner is very nice 😊 we felt amongst friends here

It was slightly more rustic than expected but the cozy warm friendly feeling of the staff made it such a nice stay

Very nice place to stay, maybe even more than we stayed. The apartment was big enough, clean, new, and the host was very friendly. The walk to the lake in the afternoon is a must! It was a good accommodation for visiting Toscana for those who travel by car.
