Hotel is located next to the train station (but in the same time it’s very quiet) with good connection to Firenze. We left the car near hotel, there’s a lot of free parking spaces available. We were amazed with hospitality and kindness of the owner. Room was very clean and cozy (with a huge bed!), with the great view. Breakfast is one of the main reasons why you should stay in Albergo Padellino! Delicious cakes and great coffee. We had a great time here and will definitely recommend this place to everybody. It’s a unique place with special atmosphere, you can feel that owners put their hearts there.

The rooms very comfortable and clean. Very good breakfast, they would serve very rich homemade sweets. The Hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful place in Florence, ideal to disconnect a bit from the noise of the city. You have a train that takes you to and from the center of Florence that is a few meters from the hotel and the price is very cheap. There is also a bus that you can take and bring in just 30 minutes for €2.20. Yes one day I am lucky to return to Florence, I will stay in this hostel again.

Perfect place for us to stay just outside of Florence before a friends wedding. Extremely easy to travel to and from Florence via the train station, which is next to the property. Despite it's proximity, the trains are not loud at all and this is a peaceful, quiet place to stay. We would loved to have stayed longer, as the people were very nice, spoke decent English - and this is a great spot to explore the local area using a car, or train. Whilst the place may feel a little tired to those used to more luxury accommodation, if you're happy with excellent value, great location and nice people - this will be for you.

This was a nice hotel - I know some reviewers have described it as dated, but I felt that it had a charming old-fashioned quality. The owners were polite and helpful. The breakfast was really excellent, the best I had at the 7 places I stayed in on my walk of the Via degli Dei - delicious torta della nonna and lovely fresh coffee, cornetti and other nice things on offer. Despite the train station being right next door to the hotel, I found it peaceful and comfortable. I would say that if you are doing the VDD, it is a little far from the trail, but a nice village.

My shower tray filled very quickly, but otherwise this was a great place to stay.

Exceptionally poor WiFi (effectively not working and highly insecure). In contemporary times it’s like having to get your water from a standing pump in the street. In keeping with the old fashioned nature of the building it’s most likely reason is the proprietor not caring about it (and saving money) (my speculation)

the host was wonderful and so kind. breakfast was delicious and freshly baked each morning. it's a traditional sweet Italian breakfast. it's right by the train station, so it's really easy to pop over to Florence (Firenze) for a day trip and head back at night (but quiet at night since the trains don't run late at night).

the wifi wasn't that strong, but pretty minor compared to how lovely my stay was.

I had a great stay . It is very clean and cosy. Location is perfect , in nice and green area with wonderful views to nature and so close to train station for a hassle free 30 min trip to Florence city center. To get to the hotel, train costs less than 4€ from Florence main train station and less than 6€ from airport ( tram+ train) Friendly staff and awesome Italian style breakfast. Thank you

The Alberge is in the hills with spectacular views around and has a Tuscan feel. It has a great location next to the station and travelling by train from Florence gave a different spectacular view of the area. The room was comfortable and basic, with a wet room, but good value. The hosts were helpful despite the Italian communication challenges, especially when the railway line closed and we needed another way to travel. We changed our plans to stay and hike in the area as there were trails nearby. The village nearby had a good shop and places to eat. The host provided a good breakfast. It was a good spot for a rest if you're passing through and need a stopover.

It was an old house, with small tiles in bathroom..and it would had the chance to be dirty..but it wasn't! It was super clean, the sheets and the towels were ironed, it smelled good, nothing old or unclean... The owners are a couple, a nice gentleman and an adorable lady, and it.s seen that the realy put a good effort for the place. She is baking everything everyday..and it.s..delicios! Congratulations!

I loved the food, but it was mainly sweets ( amazing, though). The phone charger entered in the socket but the hairdryer didn't.

The climate and vibe was awesome! To be honest, this is not a fancy modern hotel, it is quite old, but this thing was the one that makes it unique and original, you fell the history, you see how awesome and crowdy it used to be many years ago, really nice experience. It seems to be family operated (looks like the current owner is son or grandson of Albergo who might have established this hotel), it is refreshed as much as owners could afford - paints are fresh but doors and furniture is quite old. It was clean as much as it could be without serious remodelling. If you can handle little less fanciness but experience really unique place - this is something for you. Otherwise look for something else. Also price was nice and parking was big, free and nearby.
