The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was travelling with my disabled husband and they bent over backwards to assist us. The room had a good sized adequately stocked fridge (rare nowadays). The bathroom had thoughtful extras such as razor and shaving cream and toothpaste and toothbrush. The room was larger than usual, possibly because the hotel is older. Car parking was right outside the front door with one disabled space too. We did not eat breakfast so cannot comment but the coffee from the bar was good. We were visiting family so cannot comment on transport into the city centre because we did not go. The hotel is not luxurious and quite basic but, it was very clean and had everything one could want. It is excellent value for money. We would definitely stay again.

There was nothing we did not like. I am not sure if there were hot snacks (such as toasted sandwiches and soup) at night, but those would be welcome.

We asked for a room with bathtub, they upgrade our room to a huge room with very large bathtub in the middle of the room and floor to ceiling windows looking to the mountain and river , they made my day very interesting with wonderful views and breakfast in the morning and warm bathtub in the evening, thank you very much 🌹

the staff was very nice and super helpful. Even when one night there was a noisy person, they were kind enough to call and tell them to keep it down and had no issues after.

1. nothing with the property but the city seems very dependent on taxis which arnt always reliable. they need an Uber service cuz there were a couple days they couldn’t get a hold of the taxi service and I walked. the city needs a better way to contact a ride 2. needs a better fitness center. they had something upstairs but most of the weights couldn’t fit on the bars. def needs a tad upgrade 3. it could get hot in the rooms and opening the window let’s in mosquitoes. windows would be nice if it has screens to protect bugs getting in since there was no way to cool the room 4. walls a tad thin to hear other ppl but still is manageable.

The room was very nice, cleaned every day. The breakfast was varied enough and the personnel quite nice.

It was a bit far from downtown or station and a little secluded.

Hotel is located near Florence and has free parking. The room was clean and comfortable.

During breakfast, the staff didn’t care about us at all. We sat at the table that didn’t have clean tablecloth and we had to take coffee all by ourselfs. Nobody of the staff came and ask if we need anything. At the same time, Italian guests were treated differently. :/ Breakfast was ok, could be better.

the area where the hotel is located was nothing special. you must drive to get to nice restaurants but it’s 10 minutes from the train station which is not bad

Hotel was below average, I would rate it 3 star, not 4. The building is old, inside it should be renovated. Rooms are large, clean. Restaurant is ok, selection for breakfast is fine. It's close to highway to Florence, in about 20 min you can be in old town. The fact it's old is compensated with a lower price, so that is ok.
