The pool was nice to have as a way to cool off after busy and hot days. It was easy to walk to Fiesole via a trail behind the hotel. The views from that trail are really beautiful. The room was a good size and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet was huge and included a big variety of breakfast options. The staff was friendly and attentive.

This hotel is located on the one very busy street that climbs up to Fiesole from downtown Florence. So, there was constant car noise. There are a bunch of places to sit outside and a nice terrace where meals are served, but the car noise made it a not very pleasant spot to hang out. It was surprisingly quieter on the smaller streets of Fiesole than in this spot outside of town. We had one dinner at the hotel that was not very impressive for the price.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. The whole property is so well maintained and clean, and the grounds are just gorgeous. We wanted a mix of relaxation and the option to go into Florence whenever we wanted, and Hotel Villa Fiesole provided the perfect balance. The free shuttle (lovely Merc people carrier) was so helpful and reliable, we were able to go into and out of the city very easily, they do stop at around 8pm but that wasn’t really an issue we just got taxis. The village of Fiesole is only a short (uphill) walk with great options for lunch and evening meals, and we would definitely recommend Terrazza 45 for great food and cocktails, and the best view of Florence! Booking in advance will get you the best seats - and the staff at the hotel are happy to do this for you! The pool is a lovely area too, and was much needed when the skies were clear as it was so hot during the day! Italy has recently brought in a new law which prevents hotels from serving alcoholic drinks in pool areas, we didn’t mind but it’s something to note. I can see some people have said that the pool is small - which it is, but it’s clear from the photos that it’s not huge. There’s still plenty of areas to relax/sit down. And now onto the staff - the most attentive, friendly team of people we have ever encountered! A special mention to Yosef, Nichola, Beatrice & Daniel, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were also so much fun! We really enjoyed meeting every single staff member, they really make the place what it is. Would 100% stay here again, and hope we get the opportunity to ❤️

Perfect place to stay with beautiful views over Florence. Staff is very nice and Nichola and his team made sure we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The rooms were very comfortable. Fiesole is worth exploring in its own right with historical sites, nature walks and nice restaurants. From the the hotel it is only a 10 min walk into the town centre. Florence is just a 20 min bus ride away with a bus stop over the road and frequent busses going until late. We can only recommend Villa Fiesole.

Great view, beautiful garden, free parking on site. Fluffy robes and sleepers in the room. Good location to explore Florence, yet to be in the hill area. Nearby village has a few cafes, restaurants, but you need a car to get there as it’s up the hill.

The room was quite small and the range of provided toiletries weren’t at the standard you’d expect to see in those type of hotels. The amount of chase longes in the pool area doesn’t meet guests capacity, we couldn’t enjoy it as had nowhere to seat and have to leave. Expensive food and drink prices.

Location and view over Florence was magnificent. Staff was very friendly and paid attention to all our needs from reception to main manager of the hotel. In particular we want to express our gratitude to manager of gourmet restaurant Nicola where we had our breakfast, sometimes lunches and dinners. He was quick to attend to all our requests and very helpful in all respects. During a day when he had a rest we felt that something was missing. Fine dining restaurant is also addition to this hotel to experience art of chef Antonello.

There was nothing we didn't like and there is always a space for development in any place. In this place we wish to have more assortment of fresh vegetables and salad for breakfast and also some fresh fruits.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, the staff was so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast and food from the hotel was delicious. The bus stop in front of the hotel was very practical. We used it a lot when going to eat to Fiesole or when we wanted to go to the city. Also loved the pool and our room was pretty and tidy💖. We stayed for a week and that’s why we got to use the hotels shuttle for free (took us to the city center)🌟 Absolutely must visit again!

The staff in the hotel was super nice and friendly all around: the reception, the breakfast staff, even the cleaners were always smiling and friendly. The view to Florence was just gorgeous – it looked like a painting. Room was good, bed nice and comfortable. The bathroom/shower were the highlight of the room. Breakfast was quite good but nothing special, same stuff every morning.

If it weren't for the heating problems, I would rate it 10/10. We were there now in November and when we arrived it was quite cold in the room, so we turned up the heating. The first night was really cold. The day after we went to the reception and asked for some help regarding the heating. We got a small heater and a promise that someone would go and check it the day after. The small heater made a lot of noise so we couldn't use it at night, but were able to get the room temperature a bit warmer. During the day apparently someone had gone and fixed the heating, and the room was nice and warm for the last two nights :) but in a 4-star hotel it should work from the start, and that's why 9/10.

I had a fantastic one week stay at Villa Fiesole. The location of the hotel is incredible, I woke up to the sound of the birds every morning and loved the fact that I had access to the most beautiful nature as well as being close to the city center by bus. The entire team was very kind and caring and made me feel at home. Special thank you to Nicola for taking fantastic care of me throughout the stay and the attentive service at breakfast. I will for sure be back.

My Wife and I stayed here for a three day break. The restaurant manager was excellent. His level of professionalism was a five star level. The room preparation staff attended all our requests with a cheerful smile. We would recommend any one who is looking for a relaxing getaway in Fiesole to stay at the FH55 Villa Fiesole. We walked up to Fiesole most days, a pleasant walk although uphill. We are looking to return again soon! Next time for a longer stay.

Everything was excellent, so nothing really.

The hotel surpassed our expectations with its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere. The Michelin star restaurant was a standout—breakfast was outstanding, the snacks were delightful, and the cocktails were top-notch. I highly recommend trying the club sandwich and cheesecake. The staff were exceptional—professional, kind, and welcoming. A special thanks goes to Nicola, who assisted us throughout our three-day stay. His warm attitude and clear passion for his work made every interaction a pleasure.
