The pool was nice to have as a way to cool off after busy and hot days. It was easy to walk to Fiesole via a trail behind the hotel. The views from that trail are really beautiful. The room was a good size and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet was huge and included a big variety of breakfast options. The staff was friendly and attentive.

This hotel is located on the one very busy street that climbs up to Fiesole from downtown Florence. So, there was constant car noise. There are a bunch of places to sit outside and a nice terrace where meals are served, but the car noise made it a not very pleasant spot to hang out. It was surprisingly quieter on the smaller streets of Fiesole than in this spot outside of town. We had one dinner at the hotel that was not very impressive for the price.

Location and view over Florence was magnificent. Staff was very friendly and paid attention to all our needs from reception to main manager of the hotel. In particular we want to express our gratitude to manager of gourmet restaurant Nicola where we had our breakfast, sometimes lunches and dinners. He was quick to attend to all our requests and very helpful in all respects. During a day when he had a rest we felt that something was missing. Fine dining restaurant is also addition to this hotel to experience art of chef Antonello.

There was nothing we didn't like and there is always a space for development in any place. In this place we wish to have more assortment of fresh vegetables and salad for breakfast and also some fresh fruits.

The staff in the hotel was super nice and friendly all around: the reception, the breakfast staff, even the cleaners were always smiling and friendly. The view to Florence was just gorgeous – it looked like a painting. Room was good, bed nice and comfortable. The bathroom/shower were the highlight of the room. Breakfast was quite good but nothing special, same stuff every morning.

If it weren't for the heating problems, I would rate it 10/10. We were there now in November and when we arrived it was quite cold in the room, so we turned up the heating. The first night was really cold. The day after we went to the reception and asked for some help regarding the heating. We got a small heater and a promise that someone would go and check it the day after. The small heater made a lot of noise so we couldn't use it at night, but were able to get the room temperature a bit warmer. During the day apparently someone had gone and fixed the heating, and the room was nice and warm for the last two nights :) but in a 4-star hotel it should work from the start, and that's why 9/10.

I had a fantastic one week stay at Villa Fiesole. The location of the hotel is incredible, I woke up to the sound of the birds every morning and loved the fact that I had access to the most beautiful nature as well as being close to the city center by bus. The entire team was very kind and caring and made me feel at home. Special thank you to Nicola for taking fantastic care of me throughout the stay and the attentive service at breakfast. I will for sure be back.

My Wife and I stayed here for a three day break. The restaurant manager was excellent. His level of professionalism was a five star level. The room preparation staff attended all our requests with a cheerful smile. We would recommend any one who is looking for a relaxing getaway in Fiesole to stay at the FH55 Villa Fiesole. We walked up to Fiesole most days, a pleasant walk although uphill. We are looking to return again soon! Next time for a longer stay.

The hotel surpassed our expectations with its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere. The Michelin star restaurant was a standout—breakfast was outstanding, the snacks were delightful, and the cocktails were top-notch. I highly recommend trying the club sandwich and cheesecake. The staff were exceptional—professional, kind, and welcoming. A special thanks goes to Nicola, who assisted us throughout our three-day stay. His warm attitude and clear passion for his work made every interaction a pleasure. Excellent, professional staff. We arrived late on a Saturday. We asked the concierge about a recommendation for a casual meal and he recommended a wonderful pizzeria not too far away. Because it was late and kitchens at restaurants would soon close, he phoned ahead for us. Wonderful pizzeria with fine service; just what we were looking for. All other staff were equally professional, and the breakfast was excellent. (I seem to recall a comment or two from a reviewer some years ago that the breakfasts lacked variety. Not at all our experience. The breakfasts were excellent with huge variety. You can even have it “al fresco” and enjoy the view over Florence). In short, wonderful stay in a comfortable room (great bed) with exceptional staff.

The hotel is amazing, the view, the location, you could just stay and stare at the view and not say a word....

The staff was totally unprepared. I'm so sorry to say this, because some of them were so nice and wanted to solve things and work so much. Antonio needs to read again the job description. The manager made us wait for an hour for a bottle of wine that their sommelier (Filipo, who was very nice) recommended it the night before.This place is really nice and it's so sad that these things happen at this level of hospitality

The service and accommodation were absolutely extraordinary! Cannot recommend enough. The best service and staff we’ve experienced in Italy so far.

Not really a dislike but just some room for improvement- the breakfast- no lactose free yoghurts available and the bread variety could be better (as in Tuscany), also for the level of service (which is absolutely excellent!) it would be good to see some home made cakes instead of standard pastries.

Wonderful, exceptional service throughout our stay. Breakfast rooms were overlooking the beautiful view of Florence; there were many delicious choices with two chefs and several servers for requests. Niccolo was very friendly, outgoing, and made suggestions for things we could do. He certainly went beyond expectations in making us feel welcome. All of the staff was friendly and offered assistance During our stay.
