I absolutely loved our stay at A Casa Di Lilli. The location was perfect, just a 3 minute walk from the bus stop, with beautiful views and a welcoming atmosphere. The apartment was spotless, furnished with character, and full of authentic charm, including a wonderful collection of books. What made the stay truly special was the hospitality. Our host was incredibly friendly, warmly welcoming us and taking the time to explain everything about the property, nearby restaurants, and local attractions. The organisers were also very kind and helpful, even allowing me to leave my luggage after check-out until I was able to pick it up.

Cristina the owner was incredibly helpful with communication and responded to any question super quick! She helped facilitate booking us a taxi to the train station and when we were unsure if the Domo would be open due to thunder. The housekeeper Rosie was also a very lovely woman, making us breakfast each morning. The twin room was very comfortable with excellent en-suite and air conditioning.

I felt it was slightly too far out of the city but only because it was so hot(heat wave) and we walked there and back, which took about 25 minutes.

Wonderful location with beautiful yard, complete with a “living gazebo” under an expansive tree! We were lucky to have secured the only garage space because the neighborhood is quite crowded with small cars, motorcycles and motor scooters. Very clean premises and responsive staff including a very engaging woman who gave us an incredible introduction to the property and neighborhood resources as we checked in.

We called their attention to just a couple of minor maintenance uses of which they likely were not aware (toilet unbolted to floor). They were appreciative and were sure to address promptly - another good sign!

Neighborhood was super quiet. Host was super good and service was excellent. We were on a very long trip and they also provide with an additional charge laundry service which was God sent because we needed to do laundry and we didn’t have much time to spare. I highly recommend this place. Have several really good bars/restaurants near house.

We personally didn’t like maybe the distance from the main attractions but just because we are not use to using public transportation and our bags were heavier because our longer trip. For people looking for a value, clean and excellent service I recommend this place. If you have extra money to spend then maybe you could stay closer and avoid using public transportation if that’s not your thing. But we are in Europe and that’s normal.

Cristina & Rosie were wonderful hosts from fresh water and flowers, a peaceful garden to relax in and drink wine, excellent showers ( always useful when doing daily tourist walks etc) and it was lovely to live in this beautiful home for a wonderful week in Florence. PS Badiani is a top class coffee, gelato & pastry shop just around the corner.

Cristina and her husband are great hosts, very kind and helpful. Rosi is also incredibly gentle and nice, she made the check out process so easy and helpful. The whole place was super clean and stylish. It is also close to tourist attractions while remaining still in a residential area! Beautiful!

Nothing to dislike!

Rosie and Christina made us feel very welcome and Rosie kept everything spotless, including our room. The garden was wonderful - a place to relax and eat a meal after the heat of the day, and being able to prepare breakfast in the communal kitchen was also practical. We were very sad to leave after a week in this lovely casa.

We loved the old style of the property and wonderful garden, it’s a very authentic place. The house itself is beautiful, completely renovated, air conditioned. The house is decorated with nice old furniture and has its own charm. The housekeepers were very friendly und helpful. We could also use the garage, but it’s only for one car, the good thing is if you have bicycles- you can leave them there, if you definitely need a garage then it will be better to reserve it before your trip (10€ for 24h). Parking outside is possible too, during the day you have to pay in the parking machines on the street.

The breakfast was very Italian - just some sweet crackers, bakery and coffee/tee. But it was ok for 5€. Maybe it would be better to have a little bit more variation and some fresh bakery and non-sweetened yogurt too.

The location is quiet, non touristy area of Florence. It is a 2 minute walk from a very good gelato and bakery place that is open early, and a 5 minute walk from 2 different bus stops. It is very easy to get from center florence back to the hotel.

Very cozy and cute. Room was very clean and Christina was so sweet and helpful with our questions! Close to 2 bus stops and a tram that take you to city center or main train station (Santa Maria Novella).

Smaller place so we were able to hear other people staying there when they were going in and out of their rooms.
