There are so many areas to sit and relax outside of the room, and the kitchen was spacious, clean and accessible. The staff was nice and there is a laundry facility. .This is very convenient, and I appreciated it. There is a small market right around the corner which is also convenient, along with bus stops close by.

The beds are too small. By that I mean, a person cannot even sit upright if she/he is on the lower bunk. It is apparent they are of cheap quality. I don't expect the Ritz, I know it's a hostel, but in other hostels, at least the bunk beds have some room so a person can at least straighten her back when sitting. The windows need screens on them. Roommates were opening window in the night and mosquitos were coming in. Very annoying.

I booked a bed in a 6 bed female dormitory. The room was spacious with a bathroom which was also big. Every bed had a curtain, so you got a sense pf privacy. The room and the bathroom was cleaned everyday. There was also an AC in the room. With every bed there was storage space, just bring youre own padlock. Also everybody gets towels, which is unusula for hostels. I was surprised to see that the hallway which led to the rooms was tastefully decorated with big mirrors, comfortable sofas chairs. There’s also a small dining hall with a fridge, cattle, microwave. Everyday there’s a breakfast for 5e, and a buffet in the evening for 10e and the drinks are included. The garden is nice too. It is very good value for the money you pay.

We thoroughly enjoyed this hostel!! The staff were so cool and all really lovely, the laundry facilities for washing were also super handy (but expensive relative to laundromats in the neighbourhood), and the property overall was super aesthetically pleasing and spacious as well. While it's a bit out of the way, we actually appreciated it being out of all the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to walk to all the tourist spots in the centre within 45-50 minutes at most. If arriving by train, it's only about a 10 minute walk from the Campo di Marte station :-)

For the price, I would have preferred to have our own toilet. While we were aware about this going in, we were not aware there were only two toilets to be shared amongst all the rooms on our floor (as far as we could tell). Besides the room being a tad smaller than anticipated, the only thing I'd recommend changing is updating the standard TVs to smart ones. Considering the money we paid and still having to share a toilet in spite of that, I think the private room at least having a smart TV would bring it from somewhat worth it to 100% worth it.

The room was overall clean and tidy, with good housekeeping and all necessary towels provided. One side of the room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of natural light, making the stay generally pleasant. Although there was no kitchen and only a microwave, it was sufficient for a short-term stay. Overall, the value for money is reasonable and suitable for guests looking for a quiet and clean environment.

The room layout was uneven, with one side very spacious while the other side was noticeably small, much smaller than advertised, making the stay feel unbalanced. There was no kitchen, only a microwave for simple heating, which made cooking inconvenient. Additionally, some roommates were inconsiderate—making phone calls at night and clipping their nails early in the morning, causing a lot of noise.

Convenience (very short walk to the train station just be aware of the stairs up and down to the platform if you have heavy luggage). The showers and toilet facilities were wonderfully clean, the room and beds had all the basics included (sheets, blanket, towel). The outdoor space and the communal kitchen were also fantastic. Close to Mensola Parkrun (walking distance or an easy bus ride).

Not the hostel’s fault but there was one woman who felt a 15 min shower before checkout was acceptable and didn’t consider the limited showers for many people. (Only two on my floor) - plenty of people are more considerate of course!

By far the most welcoming and comfortable hostel I’ve stayed in! My sister and I booked beds in the girls only dorm and found all of the facilities to be high quality. Great storage and decor in the rooms and hall spaces. Though out of Florence’s city centre, the bus and trains run frequently from nearby stops. All staff members we interacted with were very friendly and kind and created a great atmosphere in the bar patio space. Would happily stay again and recommend to friends or solo travellers!! :)

All of the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Mark who helped us out with our reservation. He made sure that we had a satisfactory time staying at Hotel and Hostel 7, he was excellent. Also, the kind lady who helped me with washing my clothes (I didn’t catch her name), but after I had an accident earlier in the day involving coffee she managed to save my clothes and remove the stains, thank you so much! If I ever return to Florence, I would definitely choose to stay at Hotel and Hostel 7 again. :)

The place is really big, there's a garden outside and there are loads of couches etc. where you can sit and work in the hostel, so you feel at ease like you are in a great hotel. The room was nice and well organized, same for the bathroom. You can also leave your bag before the official check-in time freely, the staff is helpful and also quick to answer when you contact them.

First, my locker wouldn't close so I went to the staff and asked them to solve the problem. We ended up switching my bed so that I could use another locker. But I realised later on that despite using my lock, the locker's door could actually be opened by simply turning the handle a little bit. So that was a bit disappointing and worrying, since someone could literally open the locker and just get your things that easily, especially if you're planning to leave your bag there when you're out visiting the city. So make sure your locker is working just fine before leaving your stuff there...

The building is very comfortable, huge and the terrasse is absolutely charming ! There are enough toilets and shower for everyone, always clean ! Equipments are there, large breakfast room open all day to hang out, with microwaves, a fridge and single use dishes available. Each bed has a small lamp and a plug !

It might be a little far away from the center, but it's okay : 25/30 minutes walk to the main touristic attractions, or buses available for which you can buy tickets by credit card when you get in !

The location is near to train station (Campo di Marte) and lots of restaurants and shops around. Receptionists are helpful (plus points they've got 2 Filipino receptionists). Luckily, I was able to stay in lower bunk bed as my request. Rooms and toilets are clean. They have free towel too.

Coincidentally I was staying with other kids booked in the hostel on the first week of May. Every morning you will hear them shouting, running or jumping which will disturb your sleep. I understand they are kids whose having fun, but its a hostel.
