The staff were exceptionally attentive and caring, even remembering my son’s name to greet him every time we saw someone. The hotel is beautiful, staying here was like traveling back in time to a vintage luxury. We were supplied robes and slippers, and they even supplied a children’s robe and teddy bear slippers for my son, which shows how caring the staff is. This was the best hospitality service we have received, and we have traveled the world! Also, the restaurant downstairs served some of the best food i’ve ever had, loved the tasting menu!

The location is a little questionable, but that is not under the control of the hotel. If you take a taxi into the downtown areas, it is a well-worth it short ride.

An outstanding stay at Hotel Regency! The staff truly went above and beyond, with personal touches throughout our visit that made all the difference. From the thoughtful snacks upon arrival to the water bottles when we checked out, they clearly took extra effort to ensure our comfort. The service was excellent across the board, with daily cleaning and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They even remembered us and greeted us by name, which made it feel extra special. The breakfast was also a highlight—fresh and delicious! Highly recommend for a memorable stay in Florence!

Wonderful small hotel with a very personal feel. Don’t think we have ever stayed anywhere with better service and staff. Room was great with very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Outstanding breakfast and we had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant.

The rooms were very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms in the morning and evening. During the evening cleaning they lay out candy and slippers by your bedside for your return from exploring the city. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helped recommend restaurants and Gelato places for us. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive during the breakfast hours. I would definitely return. One thing to keepin mind, bring a steamer because they do not provide irons.

They didn't provide irons. Instead, they would press your clothes for a fee.

The general attitude of all the staff who couldn't have been more friendly, professional or attentive. The location was perfect for us, just a few minutes walk away from all the attractions but far enough away to be peaceful. A really good breakfast was included.

We chose the hotel because it looked exactly as described- small with luxury . We were not disappointed. It was a little out of the way from the main sightseeing places to visit in Firenze, but this had the advantage of being away from the clamour, traffic & throng. We had a “family” room, which was actually two separate double/ twin rooms each with its own bathroom. This suited our group of four down to the ground. Very comfortable, the staff were most helpful, and the garden was a lovely venue for breakfast.

There wasn’t anything we disliked, and we were not planning to dine in a he hotel, but possibly if the menu had a few plainer options we might have been tempted.?

Exceptional customer service from all of the staff. Room was exceedingly well prepared each day with a proper refresh every evening. Room service was quick and attentive. Having been in Singapore last year, where customer service is exceptional, I have to say that this hotel is on the same level of service as any other. Breakfast was a real highlight each morning, we managed to have this in the garden most mornings, I really can't fault anything about it. Really lovely selection of food and friendly and efficient service. We came back later each day to have coffee and drinks in the hotel garden which in late March was lovely as we wouldn't be able to do this yet at home. Thanks to all the staff.

As the hotel was of a more traditional style it would benefit from more charging sockets. Lighting could be brighter.

Hotel Regency is an elegant well-maintained property in a safe, quiet neighborhood just outside the historic city center where the key sites are located (e.g., 0.5 mi to Accademia or Santa Croce, 1 mi to Uffizzi, 1.3 mi to Pitti Palace). I requested a room that had a view of the beautiful tree-filled park across the street. From the large window of my second floor room, I was treated to seeing families with children, kids playing soccer and basketball, and people walking their dogs. Wonderful! My king bed was very comfortable, and turn down service was consistently lovely when I returned from an evening out. The bathroom was spacious, spotless and bright during the day thanks to a window. The breakfast included in my rate offered hot and cold options for any preference, and was hearty enough to see me through to dinner with only a snack mid-day. The staff are friendly and professional. This is a serene spot for a stay in Firenze, and great to return to after a day in the rich but crowded city center.

There aren't many restaurants or night spots in this area. The bathroom could be more functional (no place to put toiletries near the sink, shower/tub quite high to step into).

From the second we arrived until we left the staff could not do enough for us, it was genuine hospitality and not forced, the cleanliness in all areas was spot on, Milika who looked after our room was amazing, the little things she did in the bathroom was lovely, nothing was too much for anyone and you will 100% be seeing us again and we can’t wait to stay in your Rome Hotel, thank you again all so very much, Mat, Ronnie and Liz ;)
