Great location! Away from the crowds of tourist but close enough to the main attractions that we could walk where we wanted to go in under 15 min. The people who work at the B&B are WONDERFUL - especially Catherine and Alice! The breakfasts were excellent.

The check-in process was confusing - especially having to deal with a 3d party online passport check that was not easy to use. The communications prior to check-in were confusing- I suggest the management improve the process. Once we got there another couple of travels were able to help us get into the B&B. And once we met the staff - they were wonderfully helpful.

Very beautiful accommodation and friendly staff. The location was great as well, you can walk to the most important attractions.

We had only one problem but a serious one. The AC in our room was full with black mold. The cleaning crew was very nice to offer to clean it, but this was very dangerous for both us and them. The black mold spores would have filled the room and affected both the person who cleaned and us who had to stay the following days in that room. This should be done only by specialised professionals with the right equipment. It was a pity, as otherwise the accommodation was perfect.

The location, grounds, room size, bathroom and pool where all major plus points for our stay. The staff were always friendly and on hand to help us - thank you Alice and team! The hotel is just 15 mins walk from the main area so we did everything on foot, no need for a car!! AC is 100% working, we slept most nights without as the rooms were so cool which was great for summer.

The breakfast was not our favorite, the quality of the food was not there nonetheless a good selection. Few improvements could be made - some sunbeds were broken and pool/shower towels were a little old.

Villa Tortorelli was just so special.You enter through 2 large doors into a beautiful courtyard and then the Villa appears. Our room was just lovely.All the ceilings and walls are exquisitely painted and we had a lovely shower room. The breakfast room again was beautifully painted and bright looking onto the pool. The selection of pastries and charcuterie etc was wonderful. We loved the pool area after a day of walking and there's even a roof terrace with views of the Duomo. We could use the kitchen for storing drinks,getting glasses etc and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly helpful staff. Thankyou so much for a wonderful stay.

The house is beautiful and the location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are quiet so a good sleep is guaranteed. However all the different codes and telephone numbers to enter make the premisses robotlike and the stay a bit impersonal. We had a problem one night entering the house with the code provided, so I called the number marked on the wall. The first thing the person who answered said was that I had called the wrong number to get the door opened. Finally I got him to listen to my problem and then I received more detailed instructions via whatsapp (once again) and we got into the house. The breakfast was the best we had during our two week stay in Tuscany. I would not rate it as luxury taking into account for example that there is no coffee available in the rooms, the tea offered is a cheap blend and you have a feeling of staying in a rented villa where there are some other people there you don’t know. It feels a bit self service.

A lovely, calm setting. Pleasant rooms. Breakfast better than expected. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Hated the automated check in process. I must have received 10 emails prior to arriving. The online check in process for four people is tedious and time consuming, requiring photos of passports AND photos of people holding their own passports. And even once I'd done it, I kept receiving messages telling me to check in. Arriving at the property a bit challenging (vikey/link to enter main door, then a series of other gates, codes, etc). Arriving with a car also a bit confusing. Generally speaking, I prefer a human component, not a million emails and whatsapps where you feel like you are communicating with a robot (even if I don't think that was the case).

Villa location was a reasonable walking distance of centre and places of interest although bus stopped at end of street with cheap access anywhere in Florence. First impressions were of a tranquil, distinctively beautiful and elegant old Villa. Welcome was friendly with secuity, room access and orientation explained. Rooms were spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean with an enomous comfortable bed, relax chairs and well appointed ensuit shower room and WC also providing secured free WIFI throughout with a 50" + SMART TV for coms and access to your favourite platforms. Breakfast was standard continental but plentiful, with fresh coffee and tea made to order. The serenity and view from the roof top terrace was impressive and comfortably seated for 10 and ideal for relaxing. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our visit but the grounds and pool terrace area looked well kept and idilic for good weather, warmer stays.

The Villa was very busy during our stay so the small eating area was crammed most mornings requiring a wait to be seated.

Rooms as in the pictures, very clean and the staff is exceptional, very accomodating and helpful. Within walking distance of all attractions, we did not need to use public transport.

Excellent location, this is an amazing property. Hard to believe you are in the middle of a bustling city. Excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved this place. The building itself is a well cared for old building with amazing period furnishings. Easy to get to, secure with coded gates, private yard with pool yet so close to all attractions and great restaurants.

There is nothing we did not like here.

Huge room and bathroom, in a lovely quiet part of florence with easy public transport access. Staff were extremely helpful for anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious. Relaxing by the pool (with massage jets!) was delightful.
