The house is beautiful and the location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are quiet so a good sleep is guaranteed. However all the different codes and telephone numbers to enter make the premisses robotlike and the stay a bit impersonal. We had a problem one night entering the house with the code provided, so I called the number marked on the wall. The first thing the person who answered said was that I had called the wrong number to get the door opened. Finally I got him to listen to my problem and then I received more detailed instructions via whatsapp (once again) and we got into the house. The breakfast was the best we had during our two week stay in Tuscany. I would not rate it as luxury taking into account for example that there is no coffee available in the rooms, the tea offered is a cheap blend and you have a feeling of staying in a rented villa where there are some other people there you don’t know. It feels a bit self service.

Rooms as in the pictures, very clean and the staff is exceptional, very accomodating and helpful. Within walking distance of all attractions, we did not need to use public transport.

Hated the automated check in process. I must have received 10 emails prior to arriving. The online check in process for four people is tedious and time consuming, requiring photos of passports AND photos of people holding their own passports. And even once I'd done it, I kept receiving messages telling me to check in. Arriving at the property a bit challenging (vikey/link to enter main door, then a series of other gates, codes, etc). Arriving with a car also a bit confusing. Generally speaking, I prefer a human component, not a million emails and whatsapps where you feel like you are communicating with a robot (even if I don't think that was the case).

Villa location was a reasonable walking distance of centre and places of interest although bus stopped at end of street with cheap access anywhere in Florence. First impressions were of a tranquil, distinctively beautiful and elegant old Villa. Welcome was friendly with secuity, room access and orientation explained. Rooms were spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean with an enomous comfortable bed, relax chairs and well appointed ensuit shower room and WC also providing secured free WIFI throughout with a 50" + SMART TV for coms and access to your favourite platforms. Breakfast was standard continental but plentiful, with fresh coffee and tea made to order. The serenity and view from the roof top terrace was impressive and comfortably seated for 10 and ideal for relaxing. Unfortunately, the pool was closed during our visit but the grounds and pool terrace area looked well kept and idilic for good weather, warmer stays.

The Villa was very busy during our stay so the small eating area was crammed most mornings requiring a wait to be seated.

Huge room and bathroom, in a lovely quiet part of florence with easy public transport access. Staff were extremely helpful for anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious. Relaxing by the pool (with massage jets!) was delightful.

This was such an amazing find. The location was convenient (two stops on local bus 6, and you are at the duomo). The staff was so kind and helpful. Checking in and out was so smooth. It's a cute, beautiful historical villa. Very picturesque and clean. Also, you can store your luggage for free with them. If you have a late check-in or early check out , store your luggage and go explore the city. Great value for your money!

The lift was slow, but really, that's the only thing wrong I can think of. Nothing else.

Bed needs some updating

The location was perfect. 10-15 minutes walk to all the famous landmarks, safely tucked away down a gated driveway. No noise, but central to the city. Lovely staff, clean bedrooms, ample breakfast. There is also a roof terrace which would be amazing to use in summer. We would certainly recommend, and return here. It's a wonderful secret escape, which I was in two minds to review, as I didn't want to share it with anyone!

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The bathroom was very nice and shower good. Lots of towels were appreciated.

The furniture in the room was a bit old and the wardrobe door broken. It was not easy to find the entrance initially - not clearly marked outside. It was quite a distance from the road which we hadn't expected - not easy with a big case, although one of the team helped with the case when we were leaving.

Our room and bathroom were spacious and beautiful with a lovely balcony. The pool was a nice treat after long days of sightseeing.

Quite a walk from the center of town/ train station, but a nice quiet neighborhood near a sweet park. The emails about location and check in were very clear, but there was no staff and the place felt a little cold and impersonal. We couldn’t access the pool from inside the building there was nobody to tell us to look for an outside gate.
