Staying here felt like visiting a good friend’s home. Barbara, the owner, is incredibly warm, caring, and welcoming🧡 such a lovely person..The place is beautiful, and our room was spacious, with high ceilings and a calm, airy atmosphere. Definitely not one of those tiny, cramped hotel rooms. We especially loved the area that opens to the back courtyard. It was such a peaceful spot, and our dog had the best time running around happily. The breakfast was generous and full of delicious options. On our last day, we even got to taste a special dessert made by Barbara herself ( baba cake 😬) I can still remember how amazing it tasted. I just wish we had had more time to sit and chat with her.. she’s truly like a book🧡The whole place is spotless, full of heart, and within walking distance to everything. We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Staying here was a highlight of our Italy adventure. The room was gorgeous, spacious and crowned with pillars from the late 1400's. The breakfast was fantastic, lots of traditional cakes, meats and cheese plus fruit, eggs and more. The location is fantastic, close to major attractions. The best part of the stay was meeting Barbara, the owner. She was so welcoming, helpful, funny and interesting. It was obvious that she pours her heart and soul into this little hotel and it translated to a wonderful and memorable stay for us.

We had the pleasure of staying at Residenza II Villino B&B and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful and has an old italian vibe. One of the highlights of our stay was the wonderful service provided by Barbara, she was incredibly kind, always going above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. Whether it was offering recommendations for local attractions or just making sure we had everything we needed.

Location, location, location...our needs were mostly met within walking distance. Quite spacious room, overlooking the patio, with a great nightime view. We were pleasantly surprised on our first night by the view of the warm glow of the Duomo from our bedroom window. Very personable, welcoming, helpful, informative, and friendly manager!!! Quite spacious room overlooking the patio. Due to our schedule, we were only able to partake of the breakfast once, but were offered take out service option which we opted out of. The breakfast we did have on the premises offered a great variety of beverages and delicious choices of breakfast foods.

The mosquitos in our room were highly unwelcome! We left the hotel with many mosquito bites on our faces and torsos, as well as mosquito blood on bedsheet. A type of repellent was plugged in beside the bed, but we found it made no difference whatsoever.

Barbara was absolutely incredible! She made sure to give my sister and I the best tips about where to go and looking up places for us to book. She was so commutative and really cared about the people staying at her property and made sure they all had a pleasant stay. She makes the best deserts at breakfast and I will miss eating them very much! You can tell She was made to be a host and I hope I can come back someday. 10/10 recommend!!!

Everything was amazing

Great Location and everything were within walking distance. The host super friendly and helps to check my train schedule on my last day to make sure I don't arrive too early. And there is one morning I need to leave super early and she ready breakfast for me as well. The room is clean, and I wake up with birds chime outside the windows. ( just one or two and not too noisy )

The location was ideal, walking distance to everything. Barbara was very helpful and was even able to reserve a time slot for us to visit the Academia museum when the site showed that everything was sold out !! The breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Barbara's special cakes was a real treat.

The room was large with a big bathroom. The only thing I would say is that the beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. Perhaps its because I'm getting older or having walked miles everyday I find I really need a comfy bed to get a good night's sleep.

Full of character in a lovely location with staff being very helpful.

There were some small issues with air con / water which meant we had plenty of mozzies coming in the open window, but this was dealt with by the staff wonderfully who were very helpful. Like the bit of dust that came from the high timbered ceiling in the historic building (with another occupied room above),the mosquitos were all part of the full Florence experience!

Barbara and the whole team at Residenza Il Villino B&B made our stay in Florence an extremely joyful experience. The location can not be better. The home-made breakfast can not be better and the little terrace attached to our room was a joyful surprise. Barbara's knowledge on everything about Florence, from attractions to authentic food, are a huge plus as well. We will definitely stay for the next trip to Florence.

We liked everything! - Barbara is a fantastic host. She immediately welcomed us, made sure we liked our room, and gave us useful recommendations not only for where to go in Florence, but also for the rest of our trip in Tuscany. - The room was very comfortable and quiet and had all the amenities (including some nice soaps and shampoo bottles from Greece :D) - The breakfast was great, especially the homemade cakes and fresh juices. - The location is very convenient, at the centre of Florence. You can go anywhere on foot. We would love to visit Florence (and Residenza Villino) again!
