Good location just a few minutes walk down to the centre. Average sized room, decent sized bathroom. There's a vending machine with beer in it just up the steps from reception (you'll miss it if you only take the elevator!) We had a minor wifi issue on the first day but on reporting it at reception the next morning one of the staff came directly up and resolved it in just a few minutes.

The bathroom lights were blueish and quite dim so my partner couldn't do her makeup in front of the mirror in there. I think the reason must be that anything brighter would shine directly onto the bed if turned on at night (the switch was outside the room so the door would be open when turned on), but maybe there could be two switches or something?

The hotel was in a wonderful location. The room was large enough for the 3 of us and had a good amount of closet space to hang clothes although a small dresser would have been great. The bathroom was comfortable and we were given fresh towels whenever we needed. But the most amazing thing was the included breakfast. They have a very nice person that makes you different types of fresh coffee and another lovely person who makes fresh orange juice. They also had a large variety of jams that could be used to fill your croissant. Different types of ham, cheese, eggs, yogurt nuts etc. were all part of the beautiful and bountiful spread. It made getting up a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

On the final day l asked for a late checkout from 11 to 1, and it was denied. They did offer to store our luggage while we went out and called us a cab when we needed. I feel that one thing that could improve the experience is having a shuttle to and from the train station or airport.

The location is the main feature of this hotel, 5 minutes from the cathedral and cupola and walking distance from Train Station and most of the attractions in Florence. The rooms are quite dated but spacious and clean. The breakfast is amazing, fantastic choice of fresh pastries and sweets, fruit, yogurt and nice selection of cold meats and cheese. The bartender at breakfast is very friendly and a memorable character. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and return.

Some features in the bathroom need repairs (toilet seat was wobbly) and because of the location it's not the quieter of places, maybe worth investing in better windows insulation at some point.

the large size of the room 219, its balcony over the Piazza Della Santissima Annunziata, the breakfast buffet with a very large choice of everything, the "tropical rain" shower, the 5 minutes walk to the Duomo, the Galleria dell'Academia, the 10 steps to the Spedale degli Innocenti and the 100 steps to the Basilica Della Santissima Annunziata (both to visit absolutely). From the balcony you can see across the piazza a small window on the third floor, of the room in which Leonardo Da Vinci started painting Mona Lisa (but did not finish there).

WiFi is quasi non existent, drops every five minutes, or when we connected to WiFi, the WiFi did not connect to the Internet, it only worked when we went down to the Reception: there are not enough routers on the second floor to cover all the rooms.

We slept in the hotel for one night. Our room was clean, tidy, well furnished, with good Wi-Fi. Parking in the center is provided by the hotel in a garage for an additional fee, which was great because we had a car with luggage for the next trip. The breakfast is really very rich and the staff is nice and smiling. They talk to you, you feel welcome. So we highlight the hotel staff the most - from the reception, through the dining room - a great willingness to help in any circumstances and be there for the guest. We will definitely come back again when visiting Firenze.

Location is absolutely superb, if I had researched more I would have realised the tram, from the airport, terminates at the San Marco university stop which is literally a 2 min walk to the hotel. However, enjoyed the walk from the Santa Maria Novella, (main station), which was lovely also, walked past the cathedral and through the bustling streets, this was only a 15-20 min scenic walk. Safety deposit box in the room, no charge, the bell tower chiming on an evening whilst getting ready was lovely to hear, did not ring all night. We had a lovely view over the square. Bathroom was modern.

Maybe requires a lick of paint in the room I was in, just a refresh.

I was lucky with my room as I had an amazing view into the square in front of the building. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing especially with our bartender Gio's aura and vibes. The room had a bidet and a spacious bathroom.

Wi-Fi connection issues arose, which the staff helped with manually connecting us, however the connection wasn't the most stable. In the room I was staying in had a double bed that was two single beds combined which wasn't that comfortable but the view and the service made up for that.

5 minutes away from the duomo, beautiful view from the side of hotel, perfect spot to have a tea in the morning.

Said online that the hotel had disabled facilities, Not disabled friendly, has lift, but to get to the lift you have to walk up 5 wide steps, my family had to lift my wheelchair. No ground floor rooms. Wouldn't consider that wheelchair friendly. No help. No milk in room for tea or coffee and only some of the staff were understanding enough to help others simply said "only for breakfast"

Staff were very friendly and professional. I had a problem with the room I was in and was promptly moved to another room. The hotel location is great, minutes away from the airport tram and a short walk from the cathedral. Breakfast was mainly Italian style - pastries & bread based rather than freshly cooked food, but good. Would stay again.

The first bedroom I was in faced an internal ventilation airshaft, and an unpleasant smell was coming from it. I was promptly changed to room 104 which faced the street and that was a good bedroom.

Staff were very courteous and helpful at the breakfast lounge. The staff really cleaned my room daily. The hotel was very near the cathedral, museums, and few minutes walk to the Mercato Centrale. A little walk from the train station but was accessible.

Shower was a bit a small space with only curtain. I wasn’t able to use the WiFi for the whole duration of my stay. I reported it during the first night and the following days to the 2 staff at the reception but nothing happened. The guy receptionist offered to change my room only on the last day but I needed to go out very early for a day tour and went back late so I wasn’t able to arrange it with him. He said he can only change my room if I’m around.
