What makes this Bed&B Ricasoli Garden Relais, truly special is its location, right in the heart of Florence. There’s no need for a taxi, the city’s top attractions are just steps away. The iconic Cathedral Dome is right around the corner, and the Pinocchio Museum is directly across the street. The room was clean, and very spacious with view to the nice patio. Nery and Martina were excellent in welcoming us and showed great compassion by allowing us to stay longer in the room after all flights and train departures to our destination were canceled due to the Palestinian demonstrations. Forever grateful.

Not enough towel hooks in the bathroom.

Amazing hotel right in the heart of Florence – only a 4-minute walk to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. Parking is available nearby for an extra fee, which also solves the ZTL issue – very convenient. The hotel itself is spotless, with stylishly designed rooms and a cozy inner courtyard. There’s an elevator to the upper floors. Finding it is easier by the house number, as the entrance looks like a regular apartment doorway and the sign is quite small. The hotel offers a light breakfast nearby and includes a small savory sandwich, a sweet pastry, coffee, and juice. It’s simple but a nice option. It was more than enough for us. Rooms are well-equipped with slippers, shower gel, shampoo, tea, and coffee. There are also soft drinks in the fridge for an additional charge. The hotel provides excellent extra services such as guided tours and help with booking tickets to Florence’s museums. We didn’t have time for the tours, but we bought Accademia tickets through them and paid directly at the hotel – very convenient. This is amazing service, we were delighted to have these options available. Thank you! Great value for money overall. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept wonderfully. If we come back to Florence, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The only small downside was that the sink drained slowly, but that’s easy to fix. Everything else was perfect.

We stayed at this small hotel/B&B for a couple of nights and it was fabulous. We booked the hotel on line and immediately received a WhatsApp message with Enrico detailing check in times and instructions. He also provided directions to the location. He also advised that we could drop our bags off early if we needed. Upon check in we were greeted by Enrico. He provided so much information on the hotel as well as the surrounding area. He gave us many recommendations for food and activities. While reception is open they run a nice little bar with very nice wine. We enjoyed a couple of glasses out in their beautiful garden. They don't have a restaurant on site but they provide you with a voucher to use at a restaurant down the street. We didn't use ours so I can't comment on that. We were upgraded and our room was amazing. We had the king suite. It was very spacious and comfortable. It had the most incredible bathroom with a large tub and shower. We wanted to stay longer but unfortunately they were full however Enrico booked us in to another property they manage at the same rate. Note - like a lot of places in Florence, this is not a full-service hotel with a 24 hour staffed front desk so if you need that type of service, you may want to stay somewhere else however if you want exceptional customer service at an amazing property, I can't recommend it highly enough. Enrico provided the best service we've had throughout out three weeks in Italy.

Nothing - It was fabulous.

We had a fantastic stay at Ricasoli Garden Relais. Our suite was incredibly clean, spacious, and modern, featuring a stunning bathroom and many amenities. Despite being centrally located near the Duomo, the building was surprisingly quiet. There’s no breakfast area, but you can use breakfast vouchers at the nearby coffee shop. These vouchers get you a coffee, juice, pastry, and a savoury pastry. Easy to use the codes (we checked in at 5pm and also left our luggage on the next day). The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommend the place, especially when it is so close to everything.

We only stayed for one night, but we noticed that the garden tables were left uncleaned from empty glasses and ashtrays. It was not pleasant to use the area.

The room is spacious and the layout is impressive. The amenities in the room are wonderful, including the shower gel, bathtub, and the in-room coffee machine with coffee capsules. The hotel is located in a great spot, with convenient parking (private service) and close to major attractions within walking distance. Also surrounding by great gelato shops, leather shops.^^ Fantastic experience!

Parking needs to be confirmed or have a fixed price on it. In the end, they charged us more than what was initially quoted on the first day of arrival—€10 per day. As for breakfast, it's not directly provided by the hotel, but they offer small pastries along with coffee and juice, which was okay.

We booked two King rooms with garden view, the rooms were large, plenty of room to settle in. The garden courtyard was quaint and a lovely place to relax after check in. The king rooms were on the ground floor which made them easy to access. Built in USB ports made for easy charging. The location was the biggest plus the Cathedral Di Santa Maria was 350m, Accademia 90m. Everything was easily accessible by foot. The breakfast cafe was delicious. Staff were helpful and welcoming and quick to respond.

There was nothing.

The room was spacious and beautiful. We booked one of the rooms with a tub, which was great for relaxing after a long day. The patio was small but beautiful and relaxing. The location was perfect. You had a gelato shop and wine bar across the street and a convenience store a block away. There are plenty of highly rated restaurants in walking distance, and you can walk to any tourist attraction in less than 30 minutes.

Overall, everything was great, but I would like to point out some improvements they could add to their service. A microwave was needed for heating up food. It would be a good idea to have one in the lobby. The pillows were not comfortable, which made it a bit hard for sleeping, fluffier pillows, or memory foam pillows would be more comfortable. And it would have been nice for the garbage to be taken out every day to avoid any smells in the room.

The staff at this hotel are amazing!! They helped me to make my partner feel special as we were celebrating his 30th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us with a bottle of Champagne and help us out with booking a day trip to Siena. This is such a beautiful hotel with a lovely garden area for relaxing. It was relatively quiet during our stay and we often had the garden to ourselves, which felt very romantic. The rooms are gorgeous with high ceilings and beautiful baths inside the room. The room temperature was perfect and they provide a gorgeous breakfast basket each morning. The hotel is in a superb location, with the cathedral just at the end of the street. About a 10 min walk from the closest tram station so it's easy to reach from the airport. We can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so special!

Everything was perfect! Sadly i am gluten and dairy intolerant so the only thing I might suggest would be to add some free-from options in the breakfast hamper. Otherwise, we can't fault a thing and would love to return!!

Central location and super lovely, helpful staff. The room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast at the nearby cafe was very delicious - you could choose from a range of delicious pastries and small savoury sandwiches and they always gave us bottled water to take with us for the day.

The small lift was fine for us as a couple but might be an issue if you are claustrophobic!

the rooms were spotless and soooo tastefully done, we couldn't stop admiring the beautiful effect of the whole composition. the location was very central and the rooms were quiet despite this fact, as they faced a cute back garden. check in was super easy and everyone we met was very friendly.

beauty and practicality don't always go hand in hand, so there was nowhere to hang your bath towels, for example. the bathtub was right in the bedroom, so the other person in the room can't be there at the same time if you want some privacy. The reception is only available during a few hours so it took a whole day (and night) for them to organise an extra blanket for me.
