Excellent location, right in the heart of the city’s main attractions. Family room was nice and spacious with solid Wi-Fi, AC, mini-fridge. The bathroom was decorated to a modern high standard with shampoo, shower and hand gel provided. Friendly staff were available to assist 24/7. The included breakfast buffet was fine and filled us nicely until lunch. We were able to leave our luggage safely, yards from their desk for 5 hours while we finished looking around the city.

The only real downsides were the very small lift which wasn’t the end of the world but if you’re in a a family be prepared to make multiple trips or send a few up with the luggage while the rest of you walk and, the low shower pressure on the 3rd floor which went between low and a trickle (we think if others in adjoining rooms were using theirs too). Nothing major but could be improved.

The room was larger than the one we had in Venice, its size was a nice surprise.

the shower ran too hot and too cold, depending on the water use of other tenants in the hotel. one of the settings on the toilet was not functioning at all, and the other got stuck every now and then. when i told someone at the reception that the light bulb over the bathroom mirror was not working and i could not see well enough to shave, they told me that it would be too troublesome to fix it (they would need to change the whole mirror). obgiously not the hotel's fault, but there were so many mosquitos we could not leave the windows open. Finally, hotels are expensive in Florence...

Location is excellent. Near nice bars and shops. Can walk to Duomo, there’s a Carrefour and laundromat nearby (different directions) and McDonald’s next door. Hotel itself very clean. They clean it everyday. AC was great after a day of walking around. Staff at reception are lovely, especially Clara. She helped me a lot. Saved me a lot of money in taxi fare by explaining to me how to get to Pisa airport by train- thank you. I had a very very comfortable stay and will stay here again when I come back.

1. Breakfast can be improved, I skipped on most days (the coffee is good though) 2. 2 shampoo bottles left in my shower instead of 1 shampoo and one for body wash

Stayed for two nights at this lovely small hotel. The location is amazing, within walking distance to pretty much everything in Florence and near many great restaurants. The staff was absolutely first-class. Everyone was extremely friendly, kind, gentle, and helpful. It's clear that nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and had excellent amenities, including superb, modern showers and a very comfortable bed. The air conditioning and WiFi were also great. Breakfast was a nice touch, and I appreciated how they spaced it out to avoid a mad rush. I fully recommend this hotel if you are planning a visit to Florence. I would definitely book here again on a return visit to Florence.

Great location, near the train station Santa Maria Novella, Galeria Accademia, the city centre, supermarket and restaurants. We booked a suite for 3, and it was really clean and comfortable, even bigger than the pictures. Natural light from the big window in our room, which we loved in the mornings. The air conditioner worked perfect, which is appreciated during the summer days! Great staff, very friendly and informative, they made us feel likehome. Special thanks to Daria, who welcomed us and also booked our taxi for departure. We enjoyed the breakfast, and espressos. It's a small hotel; but we did not feel bothered by the other guests, and it's not noisy. It has elevator, but do expect some 3 to 4 step stairs to get to your room. Highley recommended, and surley hope to stay there again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, fun and since there was no common sitting area they let us use the dining area to meet and plan with our family. We appreciated that. They also helped us get oriented to the area, restaurants etc. A real plus for us. The location was great and we qui kly found our way to all the popular tourist attractions. Our room was lovely , clean and bright

The street outside our window was very noisy, especially in th morning when we were trying to sleep. The garbage pickup started at 5 am and went on for a long time. The buried garbage bins were directly below our window.

We booked one night at this hotel for the end of our trip - it's very easy to find being on a main street and reception is on the 1st floor. Check in was 2pm, but we were allowed to leave bags early and the receptionist was very friendly and said we could check in a bit early. The room was upstairs on the second floor, quite a small room but good facilities - wardrobe, shampoo etc, hairdryer, TV, good wifi, and very good air con! The bathroom was much bigger than I expected, with a very large shower. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. The continental breakfast is near reception and was very good, you're asked to give a time you want to eat when checking in. Check out was 11am which was appreciated, and we were able to leave bags for a while later.

The front door makes a huge bang if not closed by hand - not sure if anyone in the rooms can hear that! There was also a weird drilling sound in the daytime but that could have been works going on somewhere else. The cleaner burst into the room on one occasion after knocking twice (during our stay) which I thought was completely unacceptable! Not a hotel for anyone with mobility issues as the stairs are a little difficult and there is no lift.

The staff are all very pleasant and helpful, the atmosphere really nice and relaxed. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety to suit all tastes. The central location really could not be bettered; and despite being so central, our room, giving directly onto the street, was actually very quiet over night-time (except for the Council’s emptying of the public waste bins around one in the morning, which doesn’t last long, and is in any case outside the control of the hotel - it really didn’t bother us). If you’re looking not for luxury, but for an easy, relaxed family feel, we would definitely recommend this hotel, and we would gladly stay here again.

There are tea- and coffee-making facilities in the room, but we had to ask each day, apart from the first day, for cups so as to be able to use them; but since reception is manned 24 hours, this was no big deal. The room could have done with a lick of paint to cover scuff marks - normal wear and tear in a hotel, again no big deal. Otherwise, I can’t think of any real downsides.

The bed was comfy and although the room was smallish, it worked just fine. The bathroom facilities are new and the shower was very chic although the water wasn't very hot. The breakfast buffet was formulaic but it was fine. The greatest thing was the location, just over two blocks from the Duomo and all the amazing shops and restaurants around it.

Better hot water. A more interesting breakfast buffet. Our room was over the street and it was LOUD.
