It was so Italian!

Nobody say that for the breakfast you should pay EXTRA. 8€ each, we chose brakfast included, but wothout extra there was no food, no coffee. Mini bar is expensive, and you not allowed to bring drinks and food with you to mini SPA or guest main room…

Lorenzo is a wonderful host. The guest house is beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast is excellent and there is a beautiful sauna, jacuzzi and swimming pool. Cooking classes with Sylvia is a must. This is a beautiful place to stay and we will be returning .

transport in and out of the city can be challenging and you have to go by taxi. We were there at the same time as the Fashion week so taxis were at a premium. However Lorenzo organised taxis for us and this was very helpful.

The breakfast was a simple buffet, but plenty to get the day started. The rooms were very sweetly set up, private and quiet. The staff (particularly Angela) were incredibly helpful, and kind. The location is quiet - on the outskirts of Florence, with a pretty garden, and great pool. It's a quick ten minute drive to the city.

This is no responsibility of the hotel - but we didn't have a car, so were reliant on taxis. They arrived very quickly when called by the hotel - but finding one for a return journey wasn't so easy. Taxis are scarce in Florence, and they are reluctant to travel outside the centre. Best option we found was to walk to the train station, Santa Maria Novella, and get a taxi from the stand there, or go into a cafe, have a coffee and ask the cafe to call for one.

Beautiful property set in such a beautiful and peaceful setting.❤️ Service was exceptional. Breakfast at the gazebo was something we looked forward to every morning. Rooms were impeccable and very very comfortable. After a busy day of doing touristy things, it was a wonderful feeling to come home to peace and quiet set in such a charming and beautiful place. We would definitely come again!

Everything was amazing! Staff extremely friendly and helpful, location was stunning, just a bit far from city centre. Very clean room and surrounding. Pool was very clean and relax. Overall worthy experience and we are glad we got the chance to visit and stay there.

Breakfast was such a let down! they serve from 8-10, if you get there by 9:30 half the items are gone and they don't put back any! They got our drinks very wrong as well to the point one day we didn't touch our drinks and the relevant staff didn't know much English to communicate.

The setting was very quiet. Perfect to relax after a busy day in Florence. The pool was very nice and the view of the hills amazing.

Getting in and out of Florence was a hassle. The road to the Bus station didn't have a sidewalk. Walking there with children was not ideal. And getting a taxi took some time (again, with children, not ideal)

We can highly recommend staying here while you visit Florence. We enjoyed the proximity to city center and other villages, while being able to retreat to this calm and tranquil setting, away from the hustle bustle of the rest of the people / tourists. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accomodations are luxurious, clean and the entire facility and grounds were very well cared for. There was a wide variety of food for breakfast options, plus we liked that other meals were available onsite as well. Everything was delicious and cooked with a true Italian flair. Another bonus was a cooking class which was amazing. We made a truly Italian meal (including dessert) from scratch! Highly recommended. The staff also accommodates setting up tours to many sites which we took advantage of frequently.

Beautiful place really peaceful, staff is great as well as everything around it.

It's difficult to come to this place. Maps took me on very narrow road 1.5 meters and I drive BMW X5, it was impossible. At the end I scratched my bumper so it ruined my experience

Room did not really accommodate three beds/ guests which is what we needed and were given but really not have room enough for this. Don’t blame property but should be communicated more clearly to potential guests

Beautiful location! Very peaceful. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Nice selection of local white and red wines.

The right-side sink in my room (5) was not draining properly, I think it was partially blocked. The toilet room was too small and felt a bit cramped, but the rest of the room was fine. The private door leading outside was not lockable from the outside.
