Charming and Clean B&B Near the Heart of Florence I had a lovely stay at this B&B in Florence. The location is great — not too far from the city center, within walking distance or a short ride to all the main sights, but in a quieter neighborhood which made for peaceful evenings. The house has a bit of an old-style charm, which actually adds to the character and gives you a more authentic Florentine feel. It’s not modern or flashy, but everything is very well kept and thoughtfully arranged. What really stood out to me was the cleanliness — the room, bathroom, and common areas were spotless. You can tell the hosts care a lot about maintaining the place well. Overall, it’s a great value if you’re looking for something clean, comfortable, and with a touch of local character, just outside the busiest part of the city.

The staff was very friendly, humours and kind. We got a free room upgrade just because the room was free, and the owner thought the other one would be nicer and more convenient for us. The rooms were clean at any time. It's a small family owned B&B with 6 rooms. The breakfast buffet was great aswell and had everything that we needed (Homemade cakes Yummy!,2 kinds of sausage, 2 kinds of cheese, honey, jam, joghurts, tomato mozzarella, olives, 2 kinds of melons cherry's or other kinds of fruits, 2 kinds of juices, diffrent kind of coffee, 2 kinds of bread and a croissant. They will even make you eggs in whatever way you want them fresh in the pan, not like the disgusting scrambled eggs you get in big hotels. You can choose if you want to eat your breakfast inside or on the cute terrace. After talking a while with the owner and telling him what kind of things we like in vacations, he wrote us a list with over 30 places to visit in all of Italy. Which I appreciate a lot. As a small present, we got a picture of the cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore. We felt very welcome at all times. Thank you for your efforts to make it a great stay at your lovely place. To add for the ones reading the reviews, the House is up a hill and the breakfast downstairs. So it's not accessible for people in wheelchairs or people with other walking disabilities.

We had a nice stay here and our room was large and bright. We thought the location was great with just a short bus ride to the city centre. The hotel is located in a residential area which is very quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well.

We thought that it would have been helpful to know what bus to take from the train station to the hotel. We took bus #11 which was not the right bus to take and ended up walking for 30 minutes straight uphill. Take bus #36 or #37 from the train station. Don’t come out of the station exit where you see a McDonalds! You are going in the wrong direction to catch bus #36/#37. Instead go out the other exit, cross the tram track and keep right, turn left at the corner and the bus stops there. It’s a few minutes walk. Google maps suggested bus #11 but it was not right. You can by bus tickets from a machine inside the train station. The bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly.

Wonderful location, up on a hill and easily walkable into the city center - it was super quiet at night, which I appreciated, and the neighborhood is lovely. My room was very comfortable, it was nice to be able to open the windows at night and let the cool air in. Quick walk to Boboli Gardens, the Oltrarno square, and easy to get to the train station on public transit or by foot. The host and his family were so kind - breakfast was lovely: Italian pastry, coffee and fresh fruit (perfect!). It was exactly what I wanted for a couple days in Florence!

We actually had a wonderful and excellent stay here. Everything is perfect. The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a satisfied size. The hotel is located in a very safe and quiet community. And also nearby there is a free parking lot. The hosts are all very nice and helpful.What impressed me most is the wonderful breakfast! They have coffee、 hot milk、juice、 sparkling water and have all kinds of fresh fruits.And every day we will have some different kinds of homemade cakes. They are so delicious. And their croissants are the best one during my whole trip. They also provide with hams、yogurt、 cheeses and so on.I love this place and the people here very much.I did have many thanks for their hospitality!

This was a very hospitable and clean place to stay. The host is very personable and helpful. The breakfast each morning was very nice. The host fried eggs, and made coffee. There was also an assortment of croissants and other standard breakfast items. To get to the location from the train station we took the 37 blue line bus up the hill to San Gaggio (mascagni) stop. The app is At Bus with an “AT” blue logo. You can select a “Firenze urbano” ticket for €1.50 per ride. Just activate it on the phone at the time of boarding, no need to scan on the bus (only if asked). The same bus goes up the hill. We recommend the mascagni stop just after the hill so you don’t have to hike up. The B&B was a bit outside of the city by about 40-45 minutes walking, but well worth the experience. Each day we left, the host cleaned, fixed the bed, and brought more towels. He also gave his number for any special requests or accommodations you might need. This was an authentic stay and we are really happy with our experience!

The property is located really nicely, in 20 min walk from historical center in beautiful living area with beautiful houses. The location is quite and it is easy to find parking spot and the location is not in ZTL (you need to pay at steet parking machine 1 eur/hour between 9am to 20.00 Monday to Saturday, Sunday is free). The house is nice with authentic furniture and interior. Breakfast was good - you have all basic things you need for breakfast. Owner was helpful with guiding where to park, how to reach city center by bus and walking etc. I liked the place.

Nothing negative I can say, just prepare the street where house is located is steep when you walk back to the property from city center but the steep part is short

The room was spacious and we could easily park outside for a fee (parking meter). Parking is free after 8pm and on Sundays. The host was helpful with organising taxis. It was a 35 minute walk to get to the river and across into the city. Walking isn't a problem but it was very hot and felt like a lot before starting to explore the city. You can get a bus most of the way. I don't think you'd get anywhere with parking much closer to the city.

The hotel is on a hill which was no problem for us but maybe for others.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was large and clean with a good size bathroom and house was beautiful, in a quiet residential location but close to regular buses into city (or a 25 min walk which was pleasant). We asked for a balcony/terrace room and owners kindly arranged this. Garden was relaxing. A lovely place to stay in this beautiful city.

There was some noise from neighbouring rooms, as guests checked out very early & we were near to breakfast room but otherwise it was a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful little B&B. Our room was a little slice of Italian paradise. Just what we were looking for. Comfy bed, very clean, everything was working, charming decorations, good air conditioning, and a beautiful view. They had a coffee table right in the room overlooking the view of Florence as if you were at a cafe. Would stay again.

B&B is outside the city and requires a bus. As it was very hot water would have also been a nice addition when we arrived.
