We appreciate the recommendations from the host, especially where to eat very good ice cream. Very good location. Our room had view to the street, but if we closed the windows it was ok, had good sleep, air cond was appreciated because we had 3 hot days in Florence.

No refrigerator in the room. It will be nice to have some glasses in the room, even if plastic ones. No hooks where to hang the towels. Nobody came to take the garbage in 3 days, better to let some plastic bags and to specify that we had to empty the bins by ourselves . A problem with the noisy bed - good mattress, we had good sleep but my husband is 120kg so it seems bed will crack each time he moves. But we were so tired after walking all around Florence it did not matter :)

Great and friendly Host. Claudio, you are the best! Great Location, comfy bed, spacious room and well-cleaned. Would have preferred the bathroom inside the room since I get up multiple times in the night, but we managed just fine. Also, It could have been better to have access to cold and hot (for drinking) water in the middle of the night since all of the shops are closed. A kettle or a mini-fridge would have been great. Overall, It was a great place to stay. I would if I ever come to Florence again.

Even before we arrived they were already helping us with parking and the best way to get to the accommodation. Once there, we sat down and after sending us a WhatsApp with a link of Google maps full of very useful tips, we went through some of these tips explaining where to go where to eat and all the typical food. Extremely helpful. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to all the places, but, the ones we did go, boy were they good. So, come back is on the plans and as for Friends of Florence, highly recommend.

Best property manager I've ever met. Simone gave so many nice tips about Firenze and google maps pins which are popular among locals, it was very kind of him. Also it was possible to leave lagguage after check-out which was really helpful! The room itself is very modest, tiny bathroom was nextdoor. Generally, the main things needed for a short stay were there. I had a throat pain and wanted to drink some warm tea but the room didn't include a kettle, so Simone shared the kettle from the reception. Historic building in five steps from Boboli Gardens and Pitti Palace.

Great location, very friendly and helpful owner. He provided us with a google map of all the best things to do/see and places to eat. We went to multiple recommendations and loved them all. It was exactly what we needed for 3 nights in Florence! We would recommend and definitely stay here again.

The bathroom was a bit small but was enough for us. We each had one thin pillow to sleep with. A second would have been nice. Besides that, bed was comfy!

Beautiful building! Authentic experience in an old home. Location was fantastic, and being on the ‘other’ side of the river was a great experience! Staff were exceptionally helpful, provided advice, tips, recommendations for us to get the most out of our short stay. External bathroom was clean, easy to access and use and really nice :)

The room retained the heat over night and did not cool down. There was an air conditioner, but it made no impact on the temperature over night. The addition of a pedestal fan would have been really helpful to help us have a restful nights sleep.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and the host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great information about the surrounding area. The room was spacious and comfortable, though the AC didn’t work very well, and it was quite warm in the room most days. Additionally, the shower seemed to be leaking and had some clogging issues. Despite these minor inconveniences, the room itself was excellent. The bus stations are nearby, and there’s a laundry within walking distance of the hotel. Plus, the coffee shop close by is wonderful.

There were no amenities in the room no kettle, no water bottles no glasses to drink in no microwave, no mini fridge, only a hairdryer which was useful The bathroom was out side the room The most annoying thing for me was that the bathroom window wasn’t covered so anyone can see you while taking a shower 🚿 from the other rooms or the building inner courtyard

It exceeded my expectations. Our room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, with a large bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The property is located in a very pleasant area, and it's easy to walk to several points of interest. Our host, Cláudio, was extremely kind and attentive. He provided detailed information and was always ready to help with anything we needed. I highly recommend this place.

The location was fantastic, close to anything I needed as well as tourist spots, great restaurants, and amenities. Owners were amazing and set me up with some fantastic things to do that I wouldn't have done so otherwise! Super friendly and great communication throughout. Everything was within a 15 minute walk and the station was 20 minutes.
