Claudia was a delight and her space was very nice. We only stayed one night and it was wonderful for us. Our room was in a shared space that had a common living space with private rooms on each side. Living space was not available to “hang out” in out of respect for each apartment. Again… wasn’t a problem for us for one night, but may have been tough if we had stayed there multiple nights. There was a mini bar with items your could buy, but Claudia had coffee and tea available for free as well. Lovely stay for what we needed and it was a pleasure to meet Claudia! Thank you!

Location was nice and apartment was lovely.

I stayed for the second time in Drom because everything is great - very comfortable beds, spotless clean, new bathrooms, complementary tea (kettle and variety of teas) and coffee. It is nicely warm everywhere in the premises (I was there in November). Location is also good - 8 min walk from Palazzo Pitti and 12 min from Ponte Vecchio, there are good restaurants in 5 mins and supermarket around the corner. The most outstanding thing about Drom is the owner Claudia who does everything to meet any request that can arise. Example - there was a strike on the day of my departure - no transportation including taxi services were operational, but she offered to drive me to the airport. It didn't come to that, she managed to get me a taxi, but still. Least but not last - for the comfort that it offers, it is a great value for the money. I will definitely return again if opportunity presents itself.

The room was excellent as well as the location, close enough to the city centre by walking but also in a nice area of Florence away from tourist crowds. The host was very accommodating, knowledgeable of the area and had some great suggestions, they kept a very nice and tidy apartment. The apartment facilities were very nice, with a well stocked mini bar, safe and lovely shower. Also the apartment was in a small gates courtyard away from the street which made us feel safe and also kept the noise levels low.

Everything was good but we forgot our usb in the apartment’s TV and despite we left our baggage there for a few hours, cleaning service didn’t notice our usb. And the landlady didn’t answer us when we asked if it was possible to send the usb with any Italian delivery service

This was the most fantastic place to stay in Florence. The area is a lovely neighbourhood with the bustle of people going about their lives, but non of the craziness that is central Florence. There are independent shops and craftspeople and artists. The rooms are all off a lovely, private garden courtyard. It's quiet for Florence and very peaceful. The room was big and very comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space. The bathroom was good. Everything was very clean. There was a shared space with another room with a fridge. Iron and ironing board. Claudia was very warm and helpful. She had a good list of local restaurants. The nearby piazza is lovely with a little market and some good bars and restaurants. Only 10 or so minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio. Good bus routes.

Delightful apartment. When the gates open a lovely terraced walkway sets the tone. Everything was perfect. The room and en-suite are very spacious and beautifully decorated. And the bed so comfortable. Claudia ,the owner , is so welcoming and helpful. Antonio served a nice (optional) breakfast in our room every morning and cleaned and tidied every day. The apartment is well situated for all the main sites and if you don’t want to walk buses are nearby and frequent. Highly recommend

Perfect place to stay for my solo trip to Florence. It is out of the busy centre but not too far for a stroll to see the sights. Everything in the room was perfect - and if it wasn’t I have no doubt Claudia would see to it straight away. She was the most welcoming of hosts and genuinely cared about her guests being happy. Comfortable bed, everything I needed and the entrance to the courtyard made me feel completely safe at night being alone. I hope to be back!

I really liked the location. It was very convenient. Walking distance to basically everything that we wanted to see including Uffizi, Pitti Palace and Santa Maria Novella etc. Claudia, the host, was very nice and accommodating as well. She lives nearby and is contactable by Whatsapp so for any issue, you can contact her easily. On the final day we wanted to explore Florence a bit longer before taking the train and she provided us a spare key for the gate so we could leave our things inside. Everything was very clean and worked well, the bed is very comfortable, would stay here again if in the area for sure.

The checkout time is 10am which is pretty standard to other places in Italy I have stayed at but I would prefer if this was later of course.

We liked the location, only a walk away from the centre of Florence, and near the Santo Spirito area, which has a nice vibe to it. Claudia gave us some really helpful tips on places to go. A beautiful little place, in a garden courtyard, surprisingly quiet considering its location within the walls of Florence.

Probably the best accomodation you can pick to visit Florence in terms of location. Close to everything (you won't need a car staying here). Host was very kind, helped with tips for our visit and tried her best to make us feel good. TV with netflix and wonderful garden. Good price for value.

Cheap toilet paper, cheap toiletries. Towels are not changed every day, only once every 3-4 days. No breakfast and closest decent cafe shop is 250 meters away. From time to time at night the street can get noisy due to traffic and motorbikes. Check out very early ( 10 AM).
