I recently stayed at Classic Hotel and had a very nice experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect — close to shops, restaurants, and historic attractions. The best part of my stay was the staff. Receptionist Sam and the other workers were very kind and helpful. They always smiled and made me feel welcome. They answered all my questions and helped me with everything I needed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Classic Hotel and I would definitely come back. I highly recommend it!

- perfect location, walkable distance to old town - green area + hotel has a green garden too where you can sit and relax - private parking for free > this is a big benefit in Florence! - hotel with a charm, rooms with 4-5m ceilings, old school vibe, quite wide & comfortable beds - nice and welcoming staff - hotel provided baby bed for free

- be ready for mosqitos! There are generally many in Florence....but there were also a few in the room. My husband could not really sleep.... :( i would suggest having repellents that you can put in electricity sockets - bath was quite small without shower curtains

Beautiful property within walking distance to food, buses, and sightseeing. The place is gorgeous. We were concerned about parking, but you can park onsite. The hotel has a romantic feel, and the staff is amazing - so kind and accommodating. It feels like you’re staying in an old home, but with complete privacy. The rooms are quiet and the whole place feels welcoming. Across the street is a beautiful park that was an unexpected highlight on our trip (we went to Venice, Rome, Spain, Morocco, and Portugal). One of the pics is a little statue I took at the park across the street. I loved this hotel. ❤️

I loved everything about this place.

The location was fantastic. Close enough to walk to everything but just that little bit outside the center that meant it was peaceful and quiet. The room was large with a nice seating area upstairs.

There was no water in the room and no way to make any coffee or tea for ourselves. Also no ironing board or iron. If we wanted water we had to ask at reception but it was all chargeable. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to pay for water on top of the room cost so I was disappointed by this.

If you want an authentic Italian hotel then this is it!! It's also in a lovely quiet location almost next to the Boboli Gardens (which are beautiful 😍) and a short 10-15 minute walk into main town square. Andrea, the manager and all staff were fantastic and very helpful. There was a problem with our reservation but Andrea found us alternative accommodation at no cost to us! Amazing time had 😁

Booking.com's lack of response to us or hotel over the miscommunication of our booking could of ruined our holiday, but because of Andrea and the Hotel Classic, we had the best time. Will go direct in future. Also, taxi's outside airport have a fixed 32 euro fare to any hotel, not £94 as booking.com offer .

Hotel is in a beautiful old building and is very well kept and decorated, it looks like a beautiful renaissance manor inside and out. Our room was up in the eaves but spacious and well laid out and there's a lift so no issues. the hotel is extremely well located for the Boboli gardens and a short walk from the Pitti palace, excellent location for exploring Florence. Very good parking and lovely staff who were happy to help with directions and letting us leave our car safe for longer on checkout day which we went to the gardens. Breakfast was served in a lovely conservatory open to the garden vines at the sides.

Most outstanding were the staff who were all wonderfully helpful and friendly. But the house, it's garden and ambience were all beautiful and most pleasant. Breakfast was good too.

The only things were : - the absence of a restaurant for dinner - the easy chair in the room looked good but was not comfortable, - there was no table in the room to work on a laptop. These were all minor though - minor inconveniences.

Great location, easy to get around and into center of Florence, the hotel is in quiet location surrounded by lots of trees and close to the Bomboli gardens. The breakfast options are very good and offered in a beautiful garden. The staff was welcoming, accomodated to our requests and very helful to provide information . The room was very clean

The beds were not confortable and could use updates in their mattresses

We loved location, room, bed was very comfortable, the staff: Benedetta, Evis and Sam were lovely and so very helpful, they were absolutely fantastic. The location is perfect - a 20 minute walk down to Pitti Palace, 30 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio bridge. Lovely architecture, all round beautiful city, beautiful hotel run by beautiful staff.

Nothing - it was just beautiful everything

Large room with bed area on mezzanine and full size lounge room and bathroom on main floor. Gourgeous high windows - open the shutters for light and tree and avenue outlook. Great sleep. 250m to Porta Romana city gate and the rest of the old city. Easy to find; and park on site. Professional, helpful, friendly staff. Easy drive/access to all parts of Tuscany. Stayed 2 nights, would happily stay again.
