Great location in Oltrarno neighborhood, close to many restaurants and bars. 5 min to Palazzo Piti (very underrated museum!), 10 min Ponte Vecchio. Italian breakfast, which has all the basics. Our room and bathroom were fairly big, bathroom with tub, bidet and shower. Good water pressure and always warm water, not a given in old buildings. Rooms are very quiet. Heater in room (which can be turned on and off but otherwise is centrally controlled). It's on the first floor, so there are a few stairs which you might want take into account in case your mobility is restricted. Owners are nice with good advice re: restaurants!

Having fresh rolls from a bakery in addition to the cornettos would have been great.

This is our second time staying at this charming B&B Home in Florence, and it’s become our absolute favorite place in Florence. It’s located in a quiet area, where you can truly experience local life – plenty of fantastic restaurants and cute antique shops are just around the corner. The B&B is housed in an old palace that has been beautifully transformed. The atmosphere is unique, and the interior really captures the essence of Florence’s history and charm. In late January, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so peaceful, and we slept wonderfully after long days of exploring this beautiful city. The staff is amazing – so friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a perfect stay. We truly felt at home. We already miss this place and can’t wait to return to both Florence and this wonderful B&B Home in Florence!

B&B Home is a very nice guesthouse. It takes up a large part of one floor in an apartment building. The hostess was very gracious and helpful. She showed us the rooms she had available and let us choose. The bedrooms do have a step or two to the ensuite bathroom but were quiet and good size with adequate places to open suitcases and spread out. The bathroom was very clean and everything worked very well. The included breakfast was self service in a good size breakfast room with options for cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastry, juice, meats, fruit and coffee/tea. It wasn't gourmet but provided plenty of everything to start the day. The location was very good. We took a taxi from SMN train station with our luggage upon arrival because it would have been a bit of a walk (25min?) but would be doable if you want to save the taxi fare. We could walk everywhere in the city that we wanted to go. The street was quiet with no restaurants but just around a corner or two there were plenty of options.

This guesthouse is not super fancy or elegant but was comfortable and perfect for our stay. The hostess was not on site at all times but left a way to get in touch if we needed anything (which we didn't) and was there during most of the day. The step in the bedroom might be an issue for someone with mobility issues but it wasn't a problem for us. I would recommend this to others, especially as a place to stay on the other side of the river, it was very reasonably priced compared to other options for the same time period.

We arrived late and we were sent excellent instructions. So easy. The breakfast was very good compared to the 'normal' Italian cake breakfast. Here you got cheese, cured meats, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal and muesli as much coffee as you wanted (some other places we stayed at charge for cup number 2). The room was a little tired but very clean with a tea kettle and a fridge in the room. It was a little noisy but I bought earplugs. Close to all tourist things with a nice 20 min walk over the bridge. Lots of really good falafel and vegan options in the area.

The employees were too kind and willing to guide us throughout Firenze: what to see, where to eat. Willingly they stored our luggages after the check out and called us a taxi for the airport (it wasn't easy to find one available by ourselves) while informing us about the taxi fees and cost. The room was spacious, pretty clean and so was the bathroom. The location was ideal. Near the center on foot in a quiet neighborhood with many budgetted osterias and bistros, but not in the center which is pretty noisy due to high tourism.

This accommodation really did feel like a home away from home, as their name suggests. It is located in a beautiful historic building in the Oltrarno area of Florence in a very quiet residential neighbourhood. However, it has the benefit of being very close to the Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, and Ponte Vecchio, and only a few minutes’ walk from Santo Spirito square where a variety of lovely restaurants can be found. The room itself was very spacious with beautiful Tuscan decorations and great amenities. The air conditioning worked very well and kept the room cool even in the heatwave. The breakfast had good variety and everything was very fresh and tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made everything very smooth for us. I would definitely stay here again to be able to retreat each evening from the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed, local feel.

Everything suited us perfectly! The one thing that I would say is that the heavy entrance door takes a bit of a push to open and there are a number of steps leading up to the accommodation on the first floor with no lift, so those who have difficulty with upper-body strength or mobility should take that into consideration.

The second floor of the building, is in a prime location, being close to the city center but far enough away to avoid excessive noise and overcrowding. The room is clean, pleasant, and quiet. The air conditioning is sufficiently cool for a warm summer night in August. The room and common areas (receptionist room, dining room) are aesthetically decorated with a classic Florentine ambiance. Upon check-in, Julie greeted us warmly and provided a tour of the premises. She also kindly offered recommendations for local attractions and activities. We greatly appreciate her assistance. Overall, it was an great stay, and we highly recommend it.

It felt like we were living in a big, cozy home. Our rooms are all big and comfortable. Each room has its own bath, and is decorated with art pieces from a different Renaissance artist. We shared a common dining area with 24-hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate (and cake too) which is just wonderful. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They were also very responsive when it comes to guest requests. We also like that the hotel is in a quieter part of Florence, but still within walking distance to all the attractions. There're plenty of nice restaurants in the neighborhood, even a few wash-and-dry self server laundromats.

The B & B Home in Florence is a wonderful place to stay. 5 - 10 minute walk passed Pitti Palace into ce tral Florence. The staff (especially Guilia) are friendly and very helpful. Breakfast is very fresh tipical Italian sweet breakfast. Coffee and cake is available in the breakfast room all day and night. The coffee is very good (despite it being made by machine). We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again soon.

Everything is wonderful, however when it is hot I am sure the rooms will be uncomfortable. Air-conditioning would make a big difference.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always ready with recommendations for places to visit and eat. The breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of fresh options to start the day right. I also really appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check-out – it made exploring the city so much easier. Highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay here again!
