Beautiful rooms with fun, colorful decor. The restaurant on site was amazing and delicious dinner. The Bisteca alla Florentina was super delicious. We have one person who likes their meat med well- well done and they were nice enough to throw a part of the steak back on the grill for him (it came medium rare as we asked for the rest). The complimentary breakfast (and espresso) was amazing and satisfied all of our family. The ambiance of this location is unbeatable and enjoy a glass of wine outside or on the second floor terrace.

Just a comment for anyone who is driving that the roads are narrow leading up to the place, so dont speed as thee are pull overs if cars are going opposite directions.

The location and the grounds - the view! The staff The beds The vibe was casual and we felt welcomed with our dogs. Our two boys even got a treat from the staff The calm: Florence was such a zoo we stayed for an hour and then left for more relaxed towns. The hotel was perfect to recharge and Nothing was worth that kind of mass tourism headache.

Some parts of the property need some refurbishments which we understood will happen in future This is definitely an event hotel.

Absolutely fantastic place! If you’re looking for a classy but not too posh accommodation, pick this one and you’ll be spoiled with the surrounding nature, very good food, and extremely friendly staff. We picked the family room with patio and it was excellent. The bed size is enormous- about 2.5 meters WIDE! The room (or rather the apartment/suite) is in the stand alone building, so you are getting total privacy. I absolutely recommend this place!

Not A Thing!

A fantastic property, high standard of cleanliness, good service. Beautiful views, splendid decor. The grounds are well maintained and show a great pride. The value for the money was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast, although quite good, could have healthier choices and better coffee. We dined on the property on our first night and enjoyed the experience. On subsequent nights, however, we opted to dine elsewhere in the area, where the food was better, the service swifter and the price more forgiving.

Quite far from city center but it was not surprise (20 minutes driving to the nearest coop shopping mall parking with accessibility to tram to city center for another 25 minutes ) The road is very dark in the evening No elevator to the rooms in first floor while the stairs are extremely high (as it is old building with very high ceiling ) The mattress of 2 single beds were really uncomfortable

The location is beautiful and peaceful with a lovely courtyard to sit and eat dinner. The best carbonara I had while travelling round Italy for two weeks, good house wine, and the kids loved the pool. There were also two large rooms at one end of the hotel set up just for children with mountains of toys which was amazing, and it was very tidy each morning. Very close to Florence for day trips by car, and an easy day trip by car to Pisa too. The staff were also very friendly.

Loved the quirky style. Great views. The pool area was well maintained. The grounds were spectacular. Breakfast was a good range of continental plus bacon and scrambled eggs.

Not easy to get luggage from the car to the room. The rooms are quite echoey if other guests are noisy. Dinner was pleasant but not the same cool vibe.

Absolutely stunning place. very very special, beautiful surroundings - my wife and I were dreaming of having another wedding here - could rent all rooms, have an amazing weekend with friends and family - highly recommend it. It was a perfect stop and delicious breakfast with family, only 20 minutes away from Florence and 100% worth the small detour!

The villa is located in the countryside, on a small hill. Very rustic. The parking is very big and free of charge. There is a good restaurant at the hotel. The breakfast is good. The rooms are nice. The villa is surrounded by olive gardens.

The route to the villa is very narrow in the last 2 - 3 km. So one needs to drive carefully.

The location is great and very accessible! Close to the highway, but still keeps that secluded feeling. The villa itself is beautiful, the views are breathtaking, the food is beyond delicious, and the folks are very hospitable. We will definitely return to this place every time we are in the area!
