The area and surrounding were nice and beautiful. Better to have a car to move around easily. Staff are kind and helpful. There is also a restaurant on site but we did not have the time to try it, seems nice place to eat. I will come back again ✌️

It would be much better if inside the room there was some instruction and information, like wifi password, time of the breakfast, menu of the bar, menu of the restaurant, etc.

It’s an old hotel, but it has a good structure and spacious rooms. It has an attached restaurant where you can have dinner, and a basic breakfast is available for €5 per person per day, which is worth it. The town is small, so it’s a hotel mainly for sleeping and using as a base to explore nearby places (such as the Antinori winery or Florence). Overall, we enjoyed our stay — it met our needs well.

The room was quite spacious and the staff were extremely helpful. The front desk staff helped us with the local information on the city where to park the car when in Florence and gave tips on some restaurants. He also showed us a better route to approach the Hotel. The breakfast was quite fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay at this place and probably would visit again

The rooms do not have any sound insulation. In fact, it is so bad that I had to call the reception in the middle of the sleep to request the people in the next room to keep their voices low. The approach that Google shows is quite complicated. The hotel is on top of a small hill with extremely steep curves and very narrow roads with cars parked on the approach road. I sincerely advise to call the property the upfront and request to suggest the correct approach road.

Very nice location. Unfortunately they were renovating the façade when we arrived there so there was always debris when entering the premises. The room was big and comfortable. The bathroom was the best, big and well furnished. The view was nice.

The breakfast was very good. There were two ladies, one each day, who were in charge with replenishing the baskets with food. One of them was very pleasant and helpful, but the other one, next day, refused to slice another loaf of bread, boil some more eggs, and bring more cheese because it was 9:15 and the breakfast was until 10:00. There were people who came for their breakfast at 9:30 and they were simply told that it was too late, so they only got coffee. That was the only unpleasant moment during our stay.

Pity there is no fridge in the rooms. For the rest no issues. It is a bit of a steep drive up to the hotel, but to us that enhanced the feeling of history and adventure. Restaurant attached to the hotel is a bit overrated and fairly expensive in our view.

This place is amazing, location is great if you have a car, far from Florence noise, view of the surrounding hills are beautiful, we did a road trip in Italy for 2 weeks and never had a better stay than this one. The food is absolutely amazing(the restaurant opens at 7pm I think) we will return to Florence next year and definitely will stay here again. Free parking, 10 min drive from city centre of Florence

Wonderful view from our private terrace overlooking the valley. Room was large and clean. Breakfast was excellent, no issues with the hotel. Only problem we had was Google maps takes you a strange way to and from the hotel, once we figured that out, coming and going was a breeze..

Great and friendly staff, hotel was clean. Views are beautiful, I recommend staying there.

Breakfast was Ok, nothing special but that's pretty common in Italy as their breakfast culture is just simply different than in many other (European) countries. No pool (but they don't advertise that so cannot complain about it ;-)

A nice hotel with friendly staff. Giulia, the receptionist was wonderful: extremely friendly and helpful. The included parking was much appreciated. Our room was very tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Florence since the hotel is located on top of a hill and the breakfast was very good.

Unfortunately the hotel was, somewhat, hard to find and difficult to get to because it's on a very steep, winding hill. It would be very hard to get around without a car. Also we were given a room right in front of the breakfast room and we were woken up by the breakfast crowd.

Large dinning room and front desk clerk was available for a late night check in.

The hotel is located on the top of a mountain with a very very steep driveway with poor road lighting. And quite a ways from the center of Tavernuzze. Also, bathroom shower was oddly shaped due to squeezing a bidet in the bathroom. Price was on the higher end for the location of being in a working class neighborhood. Paid $153 for a one-night stay for my brother-in-law although he waited until the night of his stay to book the reservation.
