What an amazing base for a holiday in Tuscany! I think we were a little bit early in the season to make use of the pool but it looked like it would be perfect in the summer months! We will come again, I'm sure of it! Our apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed - the hosts even stocked it ready for our first couple of days which we really appreciated. We had a car with us and the parking and security were top notch, we felt very safe and secure at Rocca. Location wise, it was ideal for us! We walked 5 minutes opposite the Coop.Fi (open until 8pm!) to get the 37 bus into Florence many days. It's only a 30 minute trip in and meant we could be between the bustling city and the peaceful Tuscan suburb which is what we wanted. We did a lot of visiting smaller towns around Tuscany and Rocca is perfectly placed for that. We can't recommend it enough!!

The location was beautiful, offering a peaceful countryside setting. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I appreciated the effort put into ensuring a welcoming space.

While I understand that a countryside setting comes with some wildlife, I was surprised by the number of insects in the room. This was a bit more than I had anticipated for a comfortable stay. When I brought it to the host’s attention, I felt that the response focused more on the inevitability of these occurrences rather than exploring possible ways to minimize them for future guests.

This was an amazing property located only 20 mins from Florence in Tuscany. The staff were beyond helpful and willing to assist in whatever was needed. Suitable if you have a car, or also not as there is a grocery and bus stop located 5 mins away that takes you straight into Florence and the Santa Maria Novella train station. The apartment was impeccably clean, had everything you could possibly need, and the welcome package was a nice treat. The attention to detail was extremely noticeable, it felt like they thought about everything a traveller would want and need for the perfect stay.

Beautiful hotel with separate apartments, but access to BBQs, lots of nice tables. Great views, comfortable bed.

The bus station that takes you into Florence is only 10 minutes walk away, but that walk is by the side of a road with no pavement and sharp turns where cars go very fast. We did not feel safe and chose to take the car either than bus into Florence.

The location is excellent. You are able to walk down into the villaige, where there is a supermarket and two restaurants. The apartment was excellent with far reaching views over the surrounding countyside and villiage. The kitchen is excellent with every utensil/all pans & crockery. It has a good sized oven, small freezer and dishwasher. The bathroom was excellent. There is a TV in the living area and the bedroom. We had the added bonus of a lovely patio (Apartment 2). The security is first class. The parking is great and the pool was lovely. We took the bus into Florance ($1.50 each way) in approximately 25 minutes. You couldn't wish for a better place.

Nice room, fully equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi good. Parking on site. Quiet place. Grocery store within walking distance. 30 minutes from the center of Florence. There is a laundry.

The hotel is impossible to find. Google leads to the foot of the mountain where the hotel is located. Check-in to the mountain for half a kilometer, there are no signs. The phone stopped answering at 17-20. Although it is written that the reception is open until six. It's dark, you can't see anything and there's no one to ask.

The property was really good value for money. The accommodation was simple but very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool and garden area was beautiful and the views over the Tuscan countryside was amazing. Special thanks to Mario who helped us with travel arrangements and to Nertila who works so hard at making our stay comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Perfect location. Easy to access Florence with car, but far enough to enjoy a country side vibe. The property is very well managed. All equipments are good. Comfortable.

Few things to almost nothing. Nothing that turned into a problem.

Helpful staff, lovely air conditioned room, tranquility. It is a little oasis in the middle of Tuscany

Difficult to arrive without a car. When I did arrive though, the two ladies who clean the apartments were very kind and showed me a nice shortcut to walk there safely and not on the main road

Lovely apartment with nice views and great air conditioning. Well equipped and perfectly clean. Location great for day trips to Florence - no. 37 bus brilliant. Fabulous pool and loved the allocated poolside loungers, although the umbrellas could have been a bit larger to provide more shade. Staff were very helpful and accommodated our unexpected early arrival.

The local town Tavarnuzza doesn’t offer much apart from a decent Coop supermarket and a small roadside bar. There was a basic pizzeria and possibly one other small restaurant, but not much more than that.
