Located outside of the turisty area but still in walking distance to the turisty stuff. We arrived before check in time and the staff was super accommodating with leaving our luggage while they still get our room ready. The lady at the reception was super nice explaining us the area. We arrived by train and walked from the train station to the hotel, if I had to do it again I would have chosen to take a cab instead. The cobblestone streets made it really hard to move our luggage and sometimes sidewalks are so narrow that you are walking on the streets with cars passing by. We had arrived by train from Venice and had already walked from hotel in Venice to the train station and just having to do it all over again in Florence was a bit exhausting for us. As you enter the hotel there is a tiny elevator in front of the stairs, I encourage you to take it, don’t be like me and go up the steep stairs with the luggage. They gave us vouchers for breakfast at the cafe next to the hotel, I didn’t even know that was included so it was a nice surprise. The room was very nice and clean, the shower was wonderful with very good water pressure. If I ever get back to Florence I would stay there again for sure. When we left we opt to take a cab, the hotel was nice to call and schedule a taxi for us. It was about $20 to the train station and it was well worth it.

We had a wonderful experience! We loved the hotel’s location and amenities. There are fantastic restaurants and bars right in front of the property, and we truly enjoyed it. The hotel owner was incredibly hospitable and warm. A special greeting to the lady in particular. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely come back!

Spirit of Florence is the place to stay and visit Florence. All things were perfect. The room very clean, warm et calm. There wasn’t any noise, so we could sleep well. The hotel's location allows you to quickly reach the main places to visit. The proximity to the beautiful church of Santo Spirito and a small square gives this hotel a special aesthetic and charm. We spend 4 days in this place and we are sure, we will be back.

The most perfect place to stay in Florence! The owner is a very, very friendly person who gave us detailed instructions to explore Florence. The room was clean, beautiful, big and within walking distance of other attractions in Florence and the bus stop. I will be going back to Florence again and staying at this hotel. We enjoyed everything about our place! All the best to the homeowners!

Truly excellent. What a joy. Filippo was a perfect host. Beautiful room. Gorgeous view of the piazza. All the amenities and more. Small but functional lift. Located in Spirito Santo just the other side of the river from the main tourist area. Lovely quiet neighborhood with plenty of shops and restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

the location is super, it;s right next to the attraction, and host is friendly and helpful helping to book the parking for us and offered food voucher as well. The bonus is when you open the window in the morning you will see a lovely local market going on right in front of door step.

Loved everything- 1) hospitality excellence- great host, very pleasant & helpful with amazing knowledge of area & restaurants. TY! 2) Loved the location. Beautiful plaza. 3) loved the furniture, great jetted tub 4) loved coffee, little chocolate candy. 5) we had 3 rooms: all creativity in decor. 6) felt safe.

I can’t think of anything. 1 of 3 rooms-the heat didn’t work on towel bar. It was okay- we made it.

Flippo welcomed us when we arrived, he gave us a lot of tips of the city map before showing us the room to settle in. The room we got was gorgeous and very comfortable in size, I love that we had a small dining bar for us to have coffee and biscuits. The bed linen was super nice and the housekeeping kept everything neat and clean everyday. I love the soundproof double windows and the view we had of the square was amazing. Flippo was very responsive to our texts and even check in on us the day before we depart. I love that the location was not in the main tourist area and yet there are many food options around. Would definitely come back!

Eventhough the TV doesn't match the size of the room and the distance from the bed, it was good enough.

EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS! We stayed here for 5 nights and could not have loved it any more. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and each day the hosts restocked complimentary water and snacks. The hotel is located central to all of the restaurants, shopping and entertainment you need here in Florence. All of this in mind, Gregorio and Fillipo were our favourite part of the stay. We have never come across such helpful and accommodating hosts during our travels (accomodating luggage, organising taxis and offering recommendations just to name a few). They continued to go above and beyond even after we had checked out, we had left a mobile phone in the room & Gregorio dropped it off himself at our next hotel for us. Thank you Gregorio & Fillipo for making our stay in Florence so memorable, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.
