We got an upgrade of the room. This was the largest hotel room in Italy we stayed at. The bathroom was also huge. We also liked the design of the room. The location was amazing, just a few steps from the Jewelry bridge and Palazzo Pitti. There was a large variety of options for breakfast. The staff were also very nice. They checked us in earlier.

Parking was not very convenient. We were driving a car from Tuscany. The street was so narrow that there was no space to park to unload our stuff. We used their valet services and paid €39 for a 1-day parking.

The location was good, close to Ponte Vecchio. A little bit further to most places of interest. Lots of cafes and restaurants close by. Just over the bridge to the fancy shopping area. The building is lovely, it's a residential building with the hotel taking up one floor. The room was a great size but basic for the cost. Great shower. Breakfast was lovely, good selection, small dining area but nice.

Although a good location, it's quite a walk if you are travelling from the train station with cases. It's doable but needs a good level of fitness. The bed dipped to one side. We didn't expect it to be fixed whilst we were there, but staff were aware of it when we mentioned it. Could do with better cupboard space, full length wardrobe would be great as it's only half length and big duvet taking up space. Full length mirror would be great. I feel the cost is high for what you get and booking.com seemed to have inflated the cost, even with the genius discount. Currently in dispute about this. Better to check the hotels own website for price comparison.

The hotel was as stated unique! Located in a quite side street on the other side of the bridge from the city city if you understand me and it was great not too far from all the action but close enough to feel it. Gio, Tomasso and Enrico we just great, fabulous guardians and hosts of the establishment. Offering not just a great breakfast but a wealth oh knowledge and advice. They were great with directions and we spent a lovely day in Siena ( please go visit and it's a nice train ride away). The room was spacious and had everything we needed. I was especially happy to see their waste recycling system and eco friendly bathroom products. Once you gain access to the property the 1st time it's easy going forward and if you can't manage the stairs there is a lift. One of the best properties I have ever stayed at.

Nothing to do with the hotel but beware of the taxis late at night if you arrive like us...they drive without a care...it was scary to say the least totally different to the day drivers!

Excellent location – just a short walk from all major monuments in Florence and only 5 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby. The rooms are very spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff – all young, cheerful, and welcoming. The hotel is located on the third floor of a historic residential villa/building, adding a unique charm to the stay. Breakfast was decent – nothing exceptional, but it included all the usual items. That said, there are many lovely cafés, pastry shops, and places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner just steps away. A notable convenience is the garage service, available for €30 per night (more for larger vehicles). You simply arrive at the hotel, and the reception contacts the garage. They pick up your car and return it whenever you need it. All in all, we loved it

If we have to mantion anything, since it is located in city center, at night it can be quite noisy, but you close the windows and you are all set.

Lovely place to stay in Florence! This quaint hotel offers the warm and friendly service of boutique accommodations without sacrificing amenities or comfort. Conveniently located near major attractions, it's the perfect place for exploring the city! The private suite is exceptionally designed, the bathroom is spacious and luxurious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

It's not a negative but rather something to be aware of- the key fob to get in needed to be pressed by the main door (leading to the street) rather than the interior door (leading to the elevator). Spent a few minutes feeling stuck until we figured that out, but it was nothing compared to the rest of the experience!

My favourite part of this hotel is that you are completely in the middle of anything you would like to explore around Florence, just a short walk into the centre however the street it’s located on is lovely and quiet and doesn’t get much foot traffic. The service from the staff was exceptional and I couldn’t have felt more welcome, the rooms were amazingly clean and comfortable beds. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and they supplied us with a little gift, honestly I wouldn’t be able to give this hotel justice with words. Thank you again.

I can’t say a bad a word.

the location was great. The property is on Floor 3 (4th floor in US standards) so having the lift was a great option - especially with luggage. The breakfast was good - croissants, scrambled eggs, yogurt. The room was quiet with a nice size bathroom. Property willing to hold your luggage which was helpful.

Check in was very rushed and unorganized- i had to ask for our passports and how to enter the building and try to think if there was anything else we needed to know before he ran out of the room. The bathroom had limited amenities - don't like the soap/shampoo as one item in a bottle on the wall. the bed was comfortable but must have been supported by something under the bed in the middle as we both felt like we were going to fall out.

Rather mixed impression: - location excellent, close to center and close to many good restaurants in Oltrarno. - staff very friendly, try to help in any possible issue (Giorgio, Enrico and others) - breakfast is good - room is large and clean, air conditioner is really working in so hot weather.

- room large (30 sq m?), but it is .. empty. No cabinet for clothes, everything remains in suitcase, as if we came for one night. It seems that hotel is in super economy mode. - breakfast begins at 8:30, it's quite late for hot summer

We had a lovely stay in Florence thanks to Plazzo Martellini. The grande room had also a lovely bathroom, shower and bath which I really enjoyed after a long day visiting sites in the winter. Breakfast had everything we wanted. We had our daughter with us and she slept on the sofa bed which was really comfortable. I enjoyed waking up and looking up at the high painted ceilings. Good restaurant recommendations from the staff, we ate well in Florence. And although parking is tricky and expensive via the valet service as you can’t park at the property, this was all clearly articulated to us by our host.

Small thing to note that there isn’t always someone at reception.

Absolutely stunning hotel, amazes from the first minute of stay - the design of the room, the hall, the rooms - everything in the spirit of the beauty of Florence. Professionalism, attention and hospitality of the staff are amazing, relations with clients are built on trust and acceptance. Breakfast is so hearty, tasty and varied that I would like to try everything. Special thanks for the refrigerator full of drinks and everything for free. Delighted and grateful, I recommend, thank you guys, you made my trip unforgettable😍🩷💯
