We enjoyed seven days of wonderful hospitality in beautiful surroundings. Sabena the manager and her colleague Claudia were perfect and always helpful hostesses. They were really amazing and looked after us and the other guests with total attention. The location of the Residenca is one of the most beautiful in Tuscany. Our room was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The garden and the swimming pool are very well looked after. We were also lucky meeting the Canadian owners of the hotel who take great care to make sure that Residenca remains to be one of the best places to stay near Florence. We will be back

Staying here was probably the best of all. This place is absolutely stunning with beautiful view, cozy rooms, friendly and helpful stuff. Place around the facility is wonderful and you can admire the beautiful landscape from here. Breakfasts offered were delicious and on top of that coffee prepared according to your wishes. Parking with a coded gate is available for guests, so the entire facility is safe and offers privacy. There were no problems with check-in and check-out. Additionally, immediately after arrival we received recommendations of nearby places and we managed to visit a really large part of Tuscany and even Liguria. Unfortunately, we weren't able to use the swimming pool because it was too early, but maybe next time we'll do it. I recommend it with all my heart, I will definitely come back!

We visited Residenza Il Colle as two couples for 6 nights. The service was impeccable from three moment we arrived, Claudia was a gracious host and made us all feel right at home. The Villa is breathtaking and the scenery unforgettable. We spent most of days by the pool drinking Spritz’s. The location to Impruneta is convenient with many amazing restaurants and wineries to explore. We highly recommend a stay at this villa. You would need a few nights minimum to truly enjoy the experience.

Very calm, only 12 rooms and therefore not busy at all; restaurants within 15min walking distance, parking on the property, incredible view (also from the pool); the absolute highlight was the super friendly staff though, we felt very well taken care of!

Only rain shower head, therefore a bit difficult not to wash your hair if you don’t want to; our room was very small but sufficient for a 3 night stay, I‘d recommend booking a bigger one if you stay longer

We stayed in Residenza Il Colle for our Florenze & Pisa Trip. The location was 20 min to Florenze centrum, one hour to Pisa. The villages around the hotel were really nice and good for dinner. The hotel gave us also list of recommendations what we can do in the surroundings like restaurants, wine places, activities. Hotel was clean and the garden with the swimming pool was top.

By far our favorite stay during our 2 week trip to Italy. We were upgraded to a suite and it was so cozy and beautiful. The views were stunning and we couldn’t believe the value of the place. Sabina was such an amazing help during our stay and recommend many places during our stay in Tuscany as well as our future travels to the Dolomites. I wish we would’ve have stayed longer and will be rebooking this property if we are ever traveling back to the area!

We stayed in August for 6 nights with our 15 year old son and 3 small dogs. We had the suite and double room above the kitchen in the main house, which was glorious! Being august the temperature was 35C + and the air conditioning did not work as efficiently as needed, however Sabina the manager arranged an electrician to come out and look at the air con straight away. The villa needs updating, which they are working on all the time, but it is spotlessly clean, comfortable and nothing is too much trouble. The pool and gardens are stunning and were very secure for our dogs to enjoy. The staff recommended fantastic restaurants and vin yards nearby. The views from the Villa are breathtaking. you can walk into the closest town for supper as a great selection of places to eat. Also the village shop is only a few minutes walk and serves a super range of food which we bought for lunch. Breakfast was delicious and all day long there was fruit, water and cake available in the kitchen to graze on. We look forward to returning soon!

Only the air con issue, but it was ridiculously hot!

A beautiful period villa, converted to a handful of rooms, spaced out across the massive and immaculately trimmed grounds. The view of the rolling Tuscan hills is incredible, and there's more than a few places in the gardens in which one can sit and enjoy it. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. The staff were also incredibly helpful and gracious, providing us tips about the area as well as our onwards travel, and helping us with a number of other small requests.

In-room amenities, such as tea, coffee, kettle, etc., were lacking, though it was unclear if kitchen amenities were for shared use. WiFi reception in the room was almost nonexistent, likely owing to the thick stone walls and single access point -- a set of repeaters would do wonders!

We received a very kind upgrade to our room and this absolutely made our stay! The suite with the bath in the room was phenomenal!! Such a comfy (and huge!) bed we slept like babies!! Excellent large bathroom with a huge shower and lots of light in the room too. Breakfast was great, staff were so friendly and wonderful, and the pool was the highlight for us. Views were stunning and we would 100% recommend to friends and hopefully will return! Thank you!

The only issue we had was with the plug sockets in the room only two seemed to work with our plug adapter. We also couldn’t get the wifi to work but to be honest we didn’t need it so no complaints here and didn’t report it as we were fine without it. If this is important to you maybe check with the staff before to ensure the room is set up with good signal.

Nice manager, we arrived late, after check-in hour mentioned in the reservation, however we received all the necessary information for a self check in via WhatsApp, a video and clear indications. Thank you for that! The location is lovely, with a beautiful view over the hills.

The room was not proof sound, the staff that prepared breakfast made a lot of noise at 6 am in the morning. I think they woke up the entire guesthouse by banging all the dishes and cutlery.
