Location, historical building, spacious

A little hard to drive in the area, kind of obvious given how central it is, and the staff is super helpful. Anyway, better to park with them as price is fair (for central Florence) and valet service works fine.

I don't know where to start. The location is just perfect, right in the heart of Florence and surrounded by wonderful restaurants, cafes and shops. We stayed in the Rafaello room and the views of the famous dome were truly exceptional, like looking at a painting of Florence. The room was large and well designed & styled, with every inch spotlessly clean. The tower is medieval and one of the tallest buildings in the city, it is also soaked in history. The staff were attentive to our every need and all were friendly and shared lots of local knowledge and tips. Cannot recommend it enough, the best accommodation we've had in a very long time. Wish we could have stayed longer.

It was an absolutely beautiful suite. We booked the Buonarroti apt. with a terrace which had a great view of the Bell Tower and Duomo. It was such a treat for our 25th wedding anniversary. The Florence heat was intense during our stay but the hot tub definitely helped us cool down in the evenings. Great air con. Very comfy beds. Luxurious decor. The central location could not have been better. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Thank you Felipe! I would recommend Donati Luxury Suites to anyone wanting a very special stay in Florence.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

The location is prime. You can walk to all the points of interests within 10 minutes. Vasari suite is luxurious with kitchenette and real sauna & jacuzzi. We didn't try the sauna, though because the weather was too hot. The hotel did not offer breakfast. You need to grab something from nearby grocery store / bakery. Staffs (Silvia, Leonardo, Filippo) are friendly and informative. Highlight is comfortable bed and heated bathroom floor.

Since the suite is located in historic corner of the city, the road is small. Our big taxi van cannot get into the front of the hotel. We need to wheel our luggage upon arrival.

The room was great for a family trip. The children have their own private room and the adults can have their own private room with an adjoining bathroom. The building is in an excellent location, close to all of the shops and the Duomo. Our room was meticulously, clean, well appointed and even included a kitchen, which we did not expect. The room also had new televisions and technology that made watching your favorite movie or TV show despite traveling from a foreign country very easy.

If you’re coming during the winter and you book a room with a hot tub, make sure to tell them ahead of time that you want to use it. When you get there, it will be drained and it will not be able to be filled up until the following day. We were not aware of this, and it made the first night a little bit of a bummer.

We had an amazing stay at Donati Luxury Tower Suites! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Duomo and a short walk to the Galleria dell’Accademia. It’s also right down the street from some of the best shopping in the city, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring and enjoying everything Florence has to offer. The suites themselves were elegant, spacious and very comfortable, offering a peaceful retreat in the middle of the city. The staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything we needed.

Great hotel in the middle of the most sought after location in Firenze- the duomo area. The location is incredible. It’s in the middle of all the action and the touristy places. We stayed in the Botticelli suite. It was incredible it was both luxurious modern and ancient at the same time. Not to mention spacious with a partial view of the Duomo. They built a five-star hotel in a very ancient building, or tower. It worked very well in favor of the hotel, and I completely recommend this hotel. Front reception desk are super friendly and very prompt to help especially Francesco he was fantastic. All in all it’s one of our trip highlights

The only negative side is that there’s no reception in the room nor the entire tower. But they provide Wi-Fi in the room for Internet.

What a beautiful hotel. The hotel is in a 1000 year old building. They have decorated showing the old bricks and stones. The rooms are lovely. They are a nice size. They each had a bedroom and a living area. It was really clever that in the living room, there is a couch, small table and a credenza. The credenza opened and contained a small sink, small cook plate, microwave, and small refrigerator. It was so nice. The bathroom was large. The room had a wonderful view of the Duomo. The hotel staff was great. They found us taxis, restaurants, and a driver to take us to Tuscany for the day. It was a really nice stay.

The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom wall. In the bathroom the wall that separates the bathroom and the bedroom was glass. It's partly opaque, partly not. It's awkward if you're not traveling with your husband etc. I wasn't! My 19 year old grandson stayed in the living room on the fold out couch....we'd change places when he wanted to use the bathroom... The shower in my daughters room was very small.....but , they had 2 bathrooms. One with the small shower and a larger one with a beautiful tub. But, it worked out and we stayed in a cool place!

It was exceptional and definitely an 11/10 rated hotel. It was central and well located. The staff were so polite and bent over backwards to assist when needed.

It was odd that for a 5 star and high end hotel, they only gave 1 bottle of water for your entire stay (we were the for 4 nights) and they only gave 4 pods of coffee per day, but you were charged for any additional coffees. Very odd for a high end hotel.
