The location was perfect, right at the heart of the city. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable.

The bathroom was fine although the shower was a bit uncomfortable. The TV was small.

Ideal location close to all major sites. Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous- that includes Reception, breakfast and cleaning staff. The single room No. 316 was quite large and equipped with kettle, fridge, hairdryer. Room has minimalist decor but clean and functional. Nice black and white photo art. The breakfast range was adequate. The heated towel rack in the room was great for drying small items. In short, the room and the hotel in general were ideal for a solo traveller. I strongly recommend Alberto Firenze as a great budget option with plenty of restaurants nearby.I stayed for 7 nights so saw the range of staff and activity.

In parts, the hotel is looking a little chipped around the edges- paintwork in the corridors e.g. and the shower in Room 316 needs regrouting, but part from that the only other slight annoyance was noise from the independent courtyard area where there is a restaurant- not a big deal but you are aware of activity there, such as the bottle bin being emptied by rubbish collectors- all fairly normal for Florence. However, windows are shuttered and have heavy curtains, so it is possible to block out such noise.

All the staff were very nice and helpful. We arrived early but were allowed to leave our bags in a safe, locked room. We absolutely recommend this hotel for your stay in Florence, the location, cleanliness, friendly staff, and value for money, what more do you need. We certainly will stay again on a return trip to Florence

This hotel in in a perfect location. Close to everything. You can walk everywhere in 25 minutes or less but you have everything you need within 5 minutes. All the staff were very kind and helpful! The rooms were very quiet.

The rooms were small and the one we had was dark and had one window that opened up to a wall. Not great, but since we were there to visit it worked. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was ok. The eggs were oily and mushy and the bacon was oily and under cooked.

The staff were all very good giving us tips on where to eat. They found an USB adaptor for the electric socket, which needs a thinner triple pinned sort of plug - not the sort we'd seen before in Europe. Location is great for all the main sites which meant you could go back to your room between outings. Bed very comfortable. Hotel nice and clean.

Although our room was not right above the street, there was a lot of noise that comes from young people walking and talking in large groups late at night.

The staff are extremely polite, positive, welcoming, kind and helpful. This is their signature. Smile, assistance, care and you can clearly see that they love their work. They made us feel welcome and valued as guests. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'll definitely recommend the hotel and will return.

There was air-conditioning body in the room but it was not working. The warmth was bearable I'd say, but in hotter weather it will be hard.

Location was excellent, we stayed twice during the trip, once for Christmas and once again while we returned from south Italy .. the 2nd time we could see the Duomo from the room .. it was a great to see that. All other attractions were walking distance from the hotel.

Breakfast was just ok. not much choice and they served Scrambled eggs and sausage and it almost felt like it was being rationed ! (sorry Albergo .. you can do better there) and maybe add some additional options. Coffee was good

The reception staff is extremely friendly, willing to assist you in anything you want, and very patient with any type of tourists. Actually, they might be the best asset this hotel has, beside its location, which is literally meters away from all main attractions in Florence, which eased our way around a lot. The hotel is decent, room - clean, beds - comfortable, elevators (2)- very useful.

The bathroom needs to be refurbished, especially the shower cabin that doesn't even close properly and looks more like a museum piece. The toilet is too high making it very uncomfortable to use, especially for normal-to-shorter people. Room a little bit cramped for three people, but over all ok, given the location of the hotel and the fact that you use the room mostly just to rest at night.
