Wonderful accommodation with original features and a rooftop terrace enabling you to soak in the magic of Florence. Suzanne is fantastic, a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. Her knowledge of Florence is amazing and was of real benefit as we explored the beautiful city. Breakfast is excellent. Everything you need to set you up for a day of exploration, including gluten-free provision (my wife is a coeliac), she was very impressed. Then, to be able to get an expresso and sit on the terrace or unwind on the sofa, in the evening was a real bonus. Florence is the most amazing place. To be honest, it's just wow. From its architecture to its art, from its frescoes to its statues, everywhere you turn, there is something new to see. Amazing restaurants and cafes, at every turn. For the best sandwich you will ever experience, you must go to Sgrano. My wife was in heaven gluten-free Foccacia, superb. Florence is everything we had hoped for and more. We do hope to visit again.

Absolutely everything. The stay there was beyond excellent. We would give more stars if we could. We felt like coming home. Our host Suzanne was so amazing with all the tips and suggestions she gave to us as well as being such a lovely host, making coffee for us in the morning and made us feel home and welcomed. I was traveling with my two teenage kids and safety and location was my priority. Breakfast was amazing so much effort put to the tiniest detail. My kids were delighted. They even had my oat milk (the creamiest one) and soya milk. On the top there is a lovely terrace and we loved sitting there and having breakfast there on the fresh air. Such a gem. The view from the terrace was stunning. Location is excellent, everything is so close. Everything was perfect, just perfect wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Suzanne for everything ❤️ We loved it!!! If we ever come back we will again stay here.

The location was close to many of the main attractions and it was easy to get from Bed & Breakfast Il Bargello to many places (and there is a great restaurant just around the corner - the Tagliata di Manzo was awesome). The apartment was lovely and comfortable, and the host was warm and friendly. There was a good range of food supplied which you had access to at any time.

When we were there, a number of other apartments in the building were being renovated so there was often a lot of construction noise. We believe that this work will be completed soon (as at January 2025), so this will not be an ongoing issue. My fault for not reading the instructions given to us, but the 7 flights of stairs was an initial surprise (fortunately we didn't have big/heavy suitcases).

An amazing place to stay. It is located in the very centre in the historic building. Our room was small but it was not a problem for us, and it was clean, comfy, and nicely decorated. The hosts are very friendly and can provide you with extensive information on what to see in Florence. There is a nice common kitchen with everything you might need. A separate gem is the rooftop terrace with a spectacular view, a place for the perfect end of the day.

In our room, there were too few sockets :( Breakfast is mostly pastry, which might not be suitable for everyone. But anyway the good points definitely outweigh the downsides, and the overall experience is amazing.

The staff was wonderful. So down to earth and helpful. Switching between Italian and English to include everyone. Got a coffee in the morning and the included breakfast was great! Easy to store any of your own stuff in the fridge as well. The terrass has a spectacular view of the city centre. Perfect for a nice breakfast. Couldn’t be placed better. Didn’t hear any noise from the streets.

Already knew about the amount of stairs so it wasn’t a huge problem. That’s expected in Florence.

I had asked for early check-in as I was arriving very early to Fiorenze. They told me they could not do early check-in, but they would do what they could. And indeed, I got the room at 9 am and the breakfast, that was very great after having been travelling for the full night. Location is amazing, very central super easy to come back for a nap or to the bathroom. Yes, there are some stairs to reach the apartment, but If your luggage is not weighting 50kg, it is not a big deal. Terrace is also very good and breakfast has many options (I would just add some fruits).

Don't be put off by an unpromising exterior (a large arched wooden door plastered with posters, and a stone staircase of 77 steps passing cabling and a few broken tiles) as there is clearly work in progress in this historic building. At the top is a spacious apartment with a homely feel - it felt like staying in someone's home rather than a holiday let. There are two bedrooms with a door between, and a corridor to the dining area, kitchen and bathroom. The colours are vibrant and cheerful, and the furniture old. Both the kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped in keeping with the general ferl of the property. We were provided with yoghurts, cold water, two large cartons of juice and one of milk, refreshed each day. There was a good selection of coffee pods, and of teas. Two baskets of breakfast goods were also provided in the kitchen (including wholemeal and granary loaves) along with other goodies (butter, jam, syrup, tarts and biscuits etc). Vania was really friendly and helpful, offering to show us how everything worked and dealing with any difficulties we had - she also booked a taxi for us. We loved the family atmosphere, and felt very comfortable 'at home' in the heart of Florence. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city, a stone's throw from the Bargello Museum. We would definitely stay again.

Carrying the bags up and down stairs!

In the historic centre so great to get around, a traditional property with nice features. The breakfast was simple with cereals and bread to make toast, a really nice coffee machine and was lovely that the kitchen was available to make a drink whenever you wished, a great upstairs terrace with a wonderful view. Yes it is up a lot of steps!! But this is well advertised so no one can say that they didn’t know!

Not a negative but as it is in a old building our room was quite small, not an issue for our 2nights in Florence and being out all day but if you like your space opt for a bigger room!

Location was superb, right in the city center. Parking is available via a partnership and reasonably priced, and only about 100m from the B&B. There is a shared living room, and a shared small kitchen where breakfast is served. There is a shared fridge where you can store your items (write your name on them). Very friendly host. Hint: If you have breakfast or take away dinner (e.g. pizza), bring it up to the terrace and sit there to enjoy your meal.

Amazing location in the heart of the historical centre of Florence a quick walk to the Duomo and Ponte Vecchio. Gabriella was a fantastic host and made me a lovely coffee each morning. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Shared living space and kitchen area was comfortable and well equipped.

Lots of stairs - we knew this was the case but it was a hike to get up! Inconsistent shower - sometimes hot, sometimes cool. Breakfast items were very sugary.
