Centrally located to everything; easy walk to museums, Duomo, Ponte Vecchio, and great restaurants. Staff was very helpful in helping us identify the ones to go to. Elevator is a plus with all the steps.

Photos don’t really capture what rooms looked like, we were a little disappointed but not a big problem. Steps in apartment, including the bathroom, were a bit of a hazard. Not specifically related to property but, if driving, plan your trip carefully, street maps are needed to work with GPS — both Google and Apple Maps are difficult to maintain signal, and work with parking garage to avoid ZTL fines.

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay! I previously studied in Florence and can confidently say this is a prime location—everything you’d want to see or do is within walking distance. The apartment itself was beautiful and very clean upon arrival. The bathtub with jets was a definite highlight, and the self check-in/check-out process made everything super convenient. We have no complaints! One small note: our window overlooked a lively square (or possibly just a busy area) where there was often live music in the evenings. It added to the charm for us, but if you’re sensitive to sound, it’s something to consider. That said, the noise wasn’t excessive and didn’t bother us at all, we actually enjoyed it!

Location was perfect. The room was authentic with high ceilings and a historic atmosphere. We had room 4, which had beautifull high ceilings and two parts in the room, a seating area and a bed area with bathroom in between, which made it feel large and spacious. Even though it was 40 degrees outside and the room was large, the AC worked like a charm and kept the large room perfectly chilled. The staff is super friendly and helpfull for all requests and questions.

You could here sounds from the front deks and outside, but nothing unexpected from living in a downtown city apartment. Do not expect a complete silent room in a sterile hotel environment. The B&B offers an authentic experience of a historical city, not an impersonal IBIS vibe.

Great place to stay when in Florence. Very comfortable, super friendly and helpful staff, rooms are nice sized, bed is comfortable, and of course the location is perfect. The shower is very tiny but it's clean and has great water pressure. At least in our room. Our friend's room had a nice big jacuzzi tub, so if this matters to you, you might want to ask.

Driving your car to B&B Galileo can be very tricky. They do have a parking garage close by, you need to book it in advance. We've stayed here twice and driven both times so it's doable, but a bit stressful.

Fabulous place to stay, really good location for walking to the main tourist attractions, 20 minutes walk from the main train station. The B&B is part of an old town house, so you get to see what some of these houses would have been like to live in. Our room was clean, spacious and gorgeously decorated, the staff were very helpful and friendly. A note about the breakfasts, they are Continental style breakfasts, ie. no hot food. However, there are unlimited cold meats, cheeses, several types of cereal and milk, fresh fruit, dried fruit, three types of cake, croissants, French bread, Italian bread, sliced bread for toasting (and a toaster), butter, jam, marmalade, several fruit juices, different teas and coffees. You will not go hungry! Nothing is on the ground floor, and while there is a lift it starts/stops about 10 steps up, so you need to be able to carry your suitcase up stairs. It's not the easiest to find when you arrive. If you stand in the Piazza di S. Firenze with your back to the Zeffirelli film museum and look to the left of the Via della Condotta you will see, starting at the corner, the San Firenze suites & spa (which looks like a hotel!), then another door, then a large, double wooden door which is the entry for the Galileo. The name plaque is on the left of the door, the intercom is on the right.

Arrival instructions were a little confusing. The instructions on the internet didn't seem to match up to the messages we got. In the end there was someone there to meet us and it was all fine.

We loved the location, how friendly and helpful the staff was, the ac, and the comfortable room. The beds were clean and comfortable. Best of all, we were a short walk away from everything we wanted to see! We loved how cute the room was decorated! We genuinely had a wonderful stay here.

Note: These are SUPER nitpicky things; we had a great stay. We noticed that the shower wasn’t draining well. And we also noticed the pillows were a little flat, and one more each would've been nice. But overall absolutely lovely and we would gladly stay again!!!

The location was excellent, making it easy to get around. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, with super cozy beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The hosts were flexible, polite, and very welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience. The breakfast was moderate, but still a nice touch to start the day.

Unfortunately, the air conditioner made a loud, disturbing noise, which made it very difficult to sleep. We had to switch it off, which was uncomfortable given the cold temperatures during our stay. This really impacted the overall experience.

Nice hotel, simple room (no bed canopy) but very clean and the two men that I spoke with at the main desk were very nice. Overall a wonderful experience and much better than a chain or large international hotel. The beds were comfy (we had two) and the breakfast was nice and we bought it most mornings. Will return!!!!

The property was perfect for my friend and I. The bathroom was small though, as is typical in Europe so adjust expectations. I will stay here again.

Beautiful room. The four poster bed and bath with jets was excellent. Every member of staff we met was fantastic, the man who checked us in, the lady who checked us out, but particularly the man cleaning our rooms and Agata who made breakfast more fun! Location is beautiful and very central.

Location is just beautiful but busy and can be noisy very late into the evening. Once people have finished eating at restaurants on the piazza at 12/1am the bin lorries/street cleaners come. There is continuous noise until about 2:30am ish. Breakfast food selection could also be improved, nothing is offered to be cooked fresh such as eggs etc.

Location is great and central, everything is walking distance to the main attractions. Communication was good and there is a 24/7 whatspapp number which can be called.

We booked the room with spa bath and it was okay. The bath/shower does not have a curtain or glass door so water gets everywhere when taking a normal shower. We used the jacuzzi twice and enjoyed it but one of the time when we turned on the jets, there was dirt and other things coming out which made the whole bath dirty and turned the experience unpleasant. I would say it is not worth it to pay more for the spa bathroom.
