It was in a perfect location, it was very clean, the hosts were AMAZING!! The breakfast was so delightful, with custom orders on eggs, beautiful fruit plates, wonderful pastries and breads, and a huge dining table where all the guests could meet and mingle before starting their days. I was charmed in every way by this wonderful little hotel. The hosts were so helpful with dinner recommendations and reservations, and many travel tips. My daughter unfortunately broke her ankle while walking in town, and they were so helpful in giving us advice on how to navigate the health care system here in Florence.

From the moment you enter the property you're greeted with the most amazing scent. The sensory experience continued with a lovely Florentine room, and a morning plated breakfast served by staff. There's a DIY bar with water, juices and sodas, and liquor to DIY your own mixed drinks. The bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body lotion infused with property's signature scent. The Residenza D'Epoca evoked the whole sensory experience that is Florence.

Florence is very crowded and traffic is crazy. Fortunately, the hotel is a respite from all of that.

-Excellent location -Historic building, small but still functional, cozy and very tastefully decorated. Italian picturesque in every sense! -Every room with its particular name, all different to each other and individually furnished and equipped. -Comfortable furniture and beds, -Great breakfast, served at the table (no buffet) by friendly and accommodating staff, in a very attractive dining room -Amenities, bar etc all functional, practical and very elegant. -Kudos to the very friendly and accommodating personnel, with special respect to *Sebastian*, who is one of the best hotel receptionists/managers I've ever dealt with in my life; and I've been around!! He was attentive to our every need or request, helpful, knowledgeable, effective and super polite!! Thank you Sebastian! In sum: a hotel that justifies the term "boutique", which I would most definitely recommend as a top-spot in Florence!!

The location, the traditional decor, the breakfast room and offerings were wonderful. Great staff, friendly and responsive. I would stay again.

Not a problem for us but the bathroom door did not close, perhaps shave bottom of door for guests who would prefer option to close. It would be nice to have wine offerings at your bar for guests who do not like the hard alcohol. It seemed only option was to purchase.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in a 13th-century building in Florence that truly embodied the spirit of its historical era. The restored ancient plaster on the walls and ceilings, along with the parquet floors and antique furniture, transported me to a special period filled with rich history. The location was absolutely top-notch, right in the heart of Florence. Breakfast was an amazing social experience on the top floor, offering a stunning view of Piazza della Signoria. All guests sat together at one big table, sharing breakfast, coffee, and engaging in small talks. It was a delightful way to start the day. The car valet service was also a good experience, costing 35 euros daily.

However, the bathrooms could use some renovation and refreshing. Additionally, the air conditioning unit itself and the area behind it should be cleaned, as there was a noticeable buildup of mold, mildew, fungus, and dirt.

I have traveled many places all over the world but have never experienced the level of service I experienced at this hotel. We drove to Florence. It's such an old city with tight streets and lots of visitors, that my GPS got confused and we got lost, pretty near the hotel. I called the hotel and spoke to Umberto, the manager. He actually walked to where our car was parked, took the keys, and drove the rest of the way to the hotel. Otherwise, we would probably still be sleeping in our car. The breakfast was wonderful. You sit around a large dining room table and they bring you fresh fruit, fresh croissants and eggs / bacon if desired. The rooms were really nice and the location was amazing. It's right in Piazza Della Signoria, one of the most beautiful piazzas in Florence.

I really enjoyed the Residenza d'epoca . The location is excellent. It is easy to walk to everything and the Uffizi gallery sits just outside on the square. The room was big and comfortable which was a surprise. The staff are excellent. They are so accommodating and helpful. Unfortunately I missed breakfast due to sleeping in but am sure it was wonderful as the whole stay. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence.

First step when we came to this place, the air perfume of this hotel was so clean and fresh. the Staff are accommodating and very kind. I like everything when we stay at this place. if I have a chance to return to Firenze again I'll book here again for sure :)

This is not what I dislike but just a small complaint since our room is between the Kitchen and Breakfast rooms. so, sometimes we hear a noise from outside more often especially in the morning and late night when people come back from the trip. I still give this place 10 stars. There are more good things than this little complaint anyway :)

Appreciated the complimentary water and drinks Loved how we were able to drop off bags and collect them anytime (check in or out) Location was superb, right in Piazza della Signoria (easy to find) and walking distance to all the main attractions The property is proper vintage and historical! Loved the vibes, decor, details and the group breakfast Room was lovely and we felt we were in a historical spot Loved opening the windows in the morning to see the merchants start their day, sign, put on music etc Plenty of restos and cafes around I will come back for sure! It’s now my favourite Florence hotel

I can not say enough good things about this boutique hotel. The staff and owners are fantastic. The building itself is exquisite and masterfully appointed with period decor, and every amenity. Breakfast was so amazing in an ancient dining room with other guests. The food was made to order and was delicious. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed. I felt like royalty in this place!

Everything was absolutely perfect
