Comfortable room, bathroom with hot water. Exceptional breakfast, everything handmade with great care by Patrícia. The location is perfect, I walked everywhere, even to the most distant places I didn't use public transport, museums are very close, about 2 minutes, 8 minutes. The train station is about 13 minutes, just be careful with your heavy suitcase as it is more difficult, I only had hand luggage, and has a express supermarket on the side of the hotel. But Patrícia was a very lovely hostess, from the first contact, she gave me lots of tips on places to eat, visit and what not to miss. One day I had to leave early for a tour and she made breakfast early, this was very kind of her. I highly recommend it and when I return to Florence I will already have my favorite place.
Nothing, just a tip for older people who have 3 flights of stairs, but even at checkout I had help taking my bags down.

The location is bang in the centre of everything, but still has a residential feel, with lots of local shops. Patricia is a fountain of knowledge and her advice is impeccable. There is so much to see, and she can help you get the best from your time there. We stayed for a full week and she really looked after us. The room was large for a city, with all the facilities we could need.
As advertised, it is on the second floor and there's no lift. . If you've got big suitcases or mobility issues, be warned. Our room overlooked the street and, with the window open, it was quite noisy. There is an aircon unit in the room, but it's quite loud and beeped at peculiar intervals through the night. I'm sure that, had we raised it, Patricia would have fixed it.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights, and it was beyond perfect! I recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence. First of all, the location is excellent, close to all major attractions, and the train station, all within walking distance. It's only 200 meters from the Uffizi Museum, which is fantastic. Secondly, the room is beautiful, warm, clean, pretty, elegant, and stylish. The scent from the hallway to the room is fresh, the bed is large and comfortable, ensuring a great sleep every night. There are towels, bath towels, hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel provided, and the landlady cleans the room daily and even prepares a large bottle of ice water in the fridge for easy access. Most importantly, the landlady, Patricia, is incredibly kind! She is full of enthusiasm, very kind and lovely, prepares a lavish breakfast every morning, including homemade bread and coffee. Opening the door in the morning, the entire hallway is filled with a sweet aroma. She also enthusiastically recommends better local museums and restaurants and offers advice on your travel plans. You can consult her with any questions. I love Patrica, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Florence!!
Everything is perfect!!!

We walked from SM Novela train station with no problem (15 min, we were not in a hurry and were looking around). The walk took us past a number of wonderful spots including the Duomo. The location is great! Patricia was at the property when we arrived and was a delight to meet and speak with. She gave us a number of tips on shopping, dining and sights and could have given us many more if we were staying longer. On the block of the B&B there are wonderful restaurants, a gelato shop, shops. It is right down the street from the Uffizi Museum (which is incredible), the Duomo, the Medici Cathedral......... Things to see just go on and on. Breakfast was also wonderful and Patricia was there taking care of everyone for that as well. We would definitely stay with her again!
I did not rate the bed highly but there wasn't anything wrong with it, just not the same firmness as my bed at home. Not the bed's fault. I also did not rate it as a great value as it's not the least expensive option in the city, but it is absolutely worth it.

Awesome location and Patricia the host was so wonderful. She was very helpful & responsive! Her home made pastries at breakfast were delicious. The entire breakfast was yummy & lovely experience. The room’s decor was so pretty. We didn't have much of a view from our window (it looked out to a wall) but we knew that ahead of time and didn’t matter as we were hardly in our room anyway. Our room was on 3rd floor with no elevator but again, we knew that in advance so we were well informed and not dissatisfied with anything!

10/10 Amazing stay. The B&B was so comfortable and clean. The location is right in the middle of all the action, yet it is quiet and peaceful. The host, Patricia, is amazing!! She is so warm and friendly and helpful. She provides many recommendations and great advice. The breakfast is so good with coffee, pastries, cheese, yogurt, bread, hard boiled eggs, etc. Very plentiful. Patricia bakes fresh pastries every morning and makes a great cappuccino. With Patricia, you will feel like you have a home away from home. We would absolutely stay here again.
Nothing, it was great.

The hotel is in a great location for accessing the city, which made it nice for being tourists and for popping back from time to time to grab another layer or drop off things we bought. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable--comfy bed and nice towels. Patricia is an amazing host; she made wonderful breakfasts and coffee and had tons of recommendations for what to do during our stay. Patricia also sent super easy to follow and helpful instructions for the self-checkin process. We stayed at other hotels during our time in Italy that did not do this, and we really appreciated it.
We loved everything, so this is not a "didn't like"--just a note for people to be aware of. The B&B is on the second floor, so you need to go up about 45 steps to get to the place. This is common in historic buildings in Italy, so it's just something to be aware of for folks who might have a harder time with that.

This is the second time I have stayed here and I will stay here again! Patricia is a wonderful host who makes you feel like you are coming 'home' to Florence. The location is perfect right in between the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio and an easy flat walk from the Station. The breakfast is amazing and Patricia will remember how you have your coffee every morning. Lovely mingling with other guests at breakfast from all over the world. Rooms are great and made up each day with fresh towels. Bathrooms are clean with plenty of hot water and the AC works well. Communication with Patricia is very easy and check in is seamless.

We are in our 80s and love to walk. The B&B is so centrally located that we could walk everywhere in our 4 day stay. The 45 steps up to the B&B were not a problem because just outside are wonderful restaurants, gelato, a Carrefor, a sandwich stand, etc. Patricia’s breakfast is outstanding with freshly home baked delights. Even though the building is hundreds of years old the bathroom is very modern and the room up to date, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend and reasonably priced. I would stay there again.

Patricia, the owner/hostess, made us feel at home immediately. She gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The location of this bed and breakfast is incredible! In the middle of everything—trattorias, cafes, stores, museums, and piazzas are all super close by. Breakfast was delicious! We especially enjoyed Patricia’s homemade variety of croissants. Our room felt like we were in Italy with the beautiful decor. The bathroom was modern. It was clean. The bed and breakfast is in a super old building, but the B&B has been remodeled and was very pretty. It was very generous of Patricia to allow us to keep our luggage there for hours after check out. We will definitely be back!
