The suite is very spacious, facing the main street, yet very quite when you close the windows. Service is extra ordinary -staff members were all wonderfull- always polite and helpful, making us feel like kings. Breakfast with a great variety , so we could eat different things each day. Location is perfect, with walking distance to all the main attractions in Firenze. There is a valet parking -a great asset in the middle of the city. There is an excellent two stars Micheline restaurant in the hotel.

The hotel is very old and outdated- old carpets in the coridors , no real lobby, and no chick.

This was a five star experience all the way. We were greeted like royalty and given an upgrade with fabulous view of duomo. The room had a complimentary bottle of Prosecco! The history of the property is quite extensive and there is a museum in the basement. The interior is fabulous with modern decor and elegant surroundings. There is a Michelin star restaurant for fine dining. Everything about this place is top class. I loved hearing the church bells chime…looking out the windows you can see all the beauty of Florence and bustling streets with activity, music, patios etc. Everything is in walking distance, including the Academy of Art where I took an art class. The Uffizi museum and Accademia gallery are within walking distance. We were surrounded by great shopping, gelato, bakeries, superb restaurants…

Everything was wonderful

The entire staff, from front of house, housekeeping, doorman, Osteria staff and the Santa Elizabeta Ristorante staff deserve medals for the service, skills, politeness, language skills they practice seemingly without thinking. I would also offer them all medals observing the patience and grace they displayed when dealing with rude, curt and unthinking guests. Any minor issue we had was dealt with in seconds with zero drama (stupid husband opened a window and didn't close it properly so the air con stopped working!). Stand out mention to the menu and wine list knowledge of ALL the Osteria and Ristorante staff and especial mentions to the Bar Mixologists ... and whoever the sommelier is that did the Santa Elizabeta wine pairings ... that is one genius that is going far. Oh and the shower... how could I forget the shower... EPIC water pressure rain fall shower.

The size of the room. We paid almost €3000 for 3 nights in a superior executive room. I am 5 foot 10 inches tall and of Rubenesque stature. The room was lovely, clean and housekeeping were fabulous but the bed a small double and the nod to four poster and the pouffed drapes hiding the non view to the wall two feet in front of the window meant I had to very carefully shimmy between corner post and wall. I ended up wrapping the bed drape around the post several times and pushing the drapes on to the window sill to be able to see the less than a meter space between wall and bed. The bathroom was roomier and spotless but the shower cabinet less than a metre square... if you are a petite size zero fine, but for my height i was on a daily scratching head of yoga poses.

All was good

We checked in late and it was a bit unpleasant at that night but the staff made sure to change this the next day and everything was great. A big thank you to all their staff for their assistance and lovely attitude specially for Raffaele Biagiotti he was very kind and supportive which made our stay unforgettable

The mattress and pillow were not comfortable

I don’t think you could find a better place in Florence/ Firenze. The rooms were luxurious, from the bathrooms to the soft pillows. They had water, ear plugs and chocolate on the night stands. Fruit, cookies and champagne waiting for us when we checked in. The location is 3-5 minute walk to the Duomo. You are in the heart of Florence. The staff were more than helpful! I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff were fantastic, very kind and made me feel cared for. Breakfast was totally worth €20 lots of choice.

Unfortunately for the hotel there is a very noisy bar below some of the rooms that blasted out music until 11.30. The hotel supple ear plugs but I can’t wear them. That’s why I didn’t give full marks for location.

The location was perfect. The building is a landmark itself. The breakfast was diverse and rich. Having the room cleaned twice per day was not always necessary but definitely a good point. We had a bottle of prosecco (which we didn't manage to taste, because of our busy schedule) but we surely appreciate this personal touch.

Check-in and Check-out took way too long. Especially the check-out. It took more than 15 mins.

clean , central,great decor and great appointment locally. rooms were a little tight for an executive room but very well appointed ,lovely fresh linen and comfortable mattresses.great breakfast in beautiful room very efficient and friendly staff.

Brunelleschi Hotel sits on it's own small Santa Elizabeth square which makes it seem peaceful in the midst of a hectic city. Central location with many of the city's best restaurants and chefs within easy walking distance.

No chairs to sit in to read in room, no public sitting area except restaurant so you can't come back to the hotel to comfortably sit and enjoy the hotel.
