Fantastic location, all facilities available, even the top floor balcony bar with a view on Duomo. Very noisy at night so bring your ear plugs. Stuff is very friendly and helpful. Room service at 2pm cleaning and changing everything which I was actually surprised as I came back to my room for something and found my door open with room service inside but they quickly left my room. You can eat breakfast in the hotel downstairs, they have cafe open all day. Late check-in available. Fantastic overall.

There were no hangers for towels in bathroom, there were only 2 electric sockets in a room in not quite suitable location. Very noisy at night. In the morning bells are ringing twice before 8am and 20 minutes later so wake up alarm is not changeable :)

Location top. 6 floor terrace top. Room was clean. Friendly staff except women on 18. and 19 morning on the Rezeption.

I arrived on 18.07.24 around 2pm to the hotel. The woman look bored and aggressiv and unfriendly. After I give to Check in my passport she looks around and says I don’t have a reservation. I didn’t booked it this hotel. Than I asked the name of the hotel and I say I booked for two nights in hotel Medici. Than She immediately said ok you booked… she was rude hole conversation. Happy night duty and on 20.07. Was nice kind girls.

LOCATION - Excellent. We chosed to be close to the HISTORIC District to get the maximum enriched experiences, and so glad we did. The rooftop garden - an added bonus as it has the closest view of the DUOMO. Even though you are guests there, You need to purchase a drink to be able to enjoy HOTEL's roof top garden. so glad we chosed this HOTEL. I think PIAZZA REPUBLICA is the name of the closest PIAZZA. The ambiance of this PIAZZA is a lot of fun , big, with places to chill, eat, drink. The MERRY GO ROUND sure an added fun to this area.

access to the hotel's rooftop garden - need to purchase a DRINK even though you are staying in this hotel. since I dont drink alcohol, I chosed SPARKLING WATER. But wished, I could go up there at any point of time coz we stayed two nights.

Pros: location, many POI's within easy walking distance.. fantastic views from the roof top bar. Initial interaction with staff a little on the frigid side but all others over the next 3 day's were great, they provided awesome tips and helped out where they could. There was no air conditioning, which meant you needed to open the windows, this brought in the mozzies and the street noise. If you were there in summer I think it would have been very uncomfortable. Cons: location, being in a great spot also means everyone is having a great time, and the Italians like to party until 0500, and then you have the local merchants dragging thier carts through the streets. Noisy bastards, but all part of the holiday experience. The bells!! Farging awesome, the bells from the tower sound numerous times throughout the day, unbelievably loud in our room but fantastic to hear.. if you're not an early riser you may not appreciate as we did.. :)

The location is fantastic, it’s attached to a cafe at the bottom. The lady in here can be a little grumpy if you don’t speak Italian but you get by. Food in the cafe is good, the danishes are amazing and the coffee is good. Lovely old looking building with character. It has a fantastic roof top bar area with cocktails and bar snacks on offer. It’s mildly shaded (but could do with more shading). It’s a stone throw from the centre which is genuinely breathtaking.

There’s no air conditioning! It was so hot in the room and the only way to keep cool was to leave the room fan blasting all night. And this second one may not be every room, but the toilet in our room was really high from the ground so you weren’t comfortable. I had to get a stool (no pun intended) when on there to put my feet on.

We stayed only one night, and the location was perfect — it couldn’t have been better. Since it’s a two-star hotel, it delivered exactly what it promised. The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, as it was easy to bump into the walls while showering, but there was hot water and everything was clean. It met all our needs, especially because we wanted to stay in the city center. There is a rooftop with an amazing view.

The shower was so small that the curtain would stick to you because of the steam while showering. If you tried to pull the curtain aside, there was a large window right in the middle of the bathroom — without any curtain — and directly across from it were other rooms, meaning people could easily see inside. Because of this, taking a shower was very uncomfortable, and this issue definitely needs to be addressed.

Excellent location, located about a 2min walk from the Duomo and about 13min walk from the train station. Excellent value for money considering the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room which was perfect. (There can be a lot of noise from the street at night and early in the morning, which might not be ideal if you’re a light sleeper).

Hotel in general need a renovation, it could become a nice spot for travelers 1. Outdated rooms with old design 2. Poor quality of the windows, wind got through the cracks in the window 3. Not convenient bathroom, some bulbs in the ceiling were missing, shower has no curtain or glass and water was everywhere, sliding door to the bathroom was in bad condition and I could not close it properly, not hooks or shelves for towels or personal bathroom belongings

The location of the hotel was perfect — we could reach the Duomo in just 2 minutes on foot. It gave us the freedom to return to the hotel to rest during the day and head back out again. The hotel was very clean. The view from the rooftop bar was stunning — enjoying a drink at night with a view of the Duomo and then heading back to the room was a lovely experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The elevator was very slow, and there was no bathtube in the shower, so water splashed everywhere.
