Absolutely fantastic location, you'll be right in the middle of Florence. If you can book the outdoor jacuzzi room, you'll have front row seats to the cathedral as well.

It's a little confusing to enter as it's a normal key system and not keycard controlled. Once you get used to it, it's not too bad though. There's also no 24/7 reception so make sure you have everything you need from the host while he's available.

The location of this hotel is a privilege, affording bathroom and balcony views of the Duomo and bell tower. The bells toll a few times a day, not 24 hours, fortunately. They really let you know where you are. Loved that! Emanuela showed us around the facilities and we were delighted with our room. She was particularly helpful when we had misplaced our keys, travelling from home back into Florence to rescue us. Marco was also helpful through his provision of espressos and taxi bookings at the drop of a hat. The room was scrupulously clean and comfortable. We highly recommend Rezidenze Giotto

This hotel is on the 4th floor of the building, which should have been clear in the check-in instructions but was not. This meant I had to call the contact but it was not smoothe.

Great location for walking the city, close to cathedral and lots of restaurants and shops.

It was extremely hot when we visited and the air-con was pretty ineffective - perhaps because it’s an old building? Also it isn’t a B&B as no breakfast available and the terrace which was previously used for breakfast is now part of one deluxe room with a hot tub etc! Not a major issue as plenty of cafes / restaurants nearby for breakfast but shouldn’t be advertised as B&B - more of a serviced apartment.

The location was fantastic. The room was large and very comfortable. The room was clean and well-lit. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Our arrival was very strange. We got in the front doors because people were coming out. We didn't realize that reception was on the 4th floor so it appeared to us we were in the wrong place. Someone told us to go to the 4th floor, which we did. But the whole area on the 1st floor was dark with no signage. Given the photos on the web, we expected a hotel with an obvious entrance. Had we known more about this, we would not have been so confused. So we recommend better communication about how to get the attention of reception from outside and how to navigate to reception once inside.

Staff. Marco is a gentlemen. He is onsite for quite a lot of the time and is able to give recommendations for dining, travel etc. The bed was was lovely and comfortable and the room was clean and appointed with everything needed. Towelling is changed daily if required. Thankfully, there is a lift to the 3rd floor of the property. The location is perfect for everything. Only a 10 minute walk from the station. Marco did arrange transport for us the morning we left. Great host.

The property needs a better sign outside. We spent more time around the property actually looking for it than walking from the Station. So BIGGER sign would help. I have only given a 9/10 because of the hunting around for the property.

It was very convenient to Florence sites , being right near the duomo. Loved hearing the church bells in the morning. The concierge was extremely helpful and the room was modern and comfortable, but you still got the character and charm of being in an old historic building. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

One minor thing. Elevator was pretty small, but that was a theme of any European elevator we came across. Definitely not a deal breaker in this place.

The location is in the heart of the Duomo and everything is within walking distance. The staff ( Marco) is very friendly, knowledgeable and a local of the area. Our room has the magnificent view of the Duomo clock & tower fr our tiny balcony! (Sits only for 2 people).

The space of the room is a bit smaller (for 2 ppl w/ 2 large suitcases). The Bldg is ancient typical of an Italian ancient city too including the elevator that can accommodate 1person w/ 1 suitcase at a time..

Location! Steps from attractions & restaurants, train is a 10 min walk. The room was spacious & comfortable & spotlessly clean. The bed was comfy. The AC worked great & we had a small balcony as well

We liked everything about it but I will add some thing that may help others. We arrived late due to train issues. There is NOTHING on the outside of the building that indicates the suites are there. It is directly across from Prada & next to Pinky, with lions head door knockers.

Such incredible location with everything within walking distance to see the sights of Florence! We were lucky to have an amazing view of the Duomo & Bell Tower. Marco was so lovely upon check in and the staff kept the room clean and fresh every day!

We would have loved the coffee and snacks to have been replenished, and some extra fresh towels throughout our stay would have been amazing. But everything was incredible I will absolutely be back!

So much to say! We loved the view of the Cathedral/Duomo/Bell Tower and semi private balcony! The location was VERY central to all the action. Our host and cleaning staff were very accommodating and kind. Our host had great communication methods for us to reach him and many recommendations for the area. Our room was cleaned each day! The hotel had updated linens and decor as well as great lighting options. We were so fortunate for the view, as not all rooms get this view, so it was much appreciated! Once checked in, we received clear instructions on entering the hotel and rooms. We absolutely loved our experience and would definitely return when in Florence again someday. Thank you!

Mostly great- one suggestion is that the check in process needed clearer communication, especially because we didn’t know how to enter the hotel (not from Europe- the hotels are fancy locked wooden doors). We did get super lucky with our view because not all rooms have the view of the Duomo and Bell Tower, as it is a small hotel. Just be aware that you may not get a view option. We just booked very early and got lucky and are so appreciative for the view!
