The Firenze Repubblica Apartments are perfectly located in the heart of Florence — an ideal base from which to explore the entire city on foot, with one of the finest views you’ll find anywhere in Florence. The apartments are situated within a mixed-use residential building, offering a secure and welcoming environment. As you enter through the impressive wooden doors, you’ll find a daytime concierge area for the building (please note: this is not a dedicated reception for the apartments, but the staff on duty are friendly and helpful). On arrival, simply follow the address provided to reach the apartments, where a member of the management team will greet you warmly. They also share contact details in case you need any assistance during your stay. Inside, the apartment is spacious, attractively decorated, and well maintained. The highlight is without doubt the private terrace — generous in size and offering a truly breathtaking view over the city, worth every penny for the experience alone. The Duomo apartments have an outstanding view of the Duomo Dome. Despite its central location, the apartment is quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing and full air conditioning/heating for year-round comfort. Thoughtful touches such as a complimentary bottle of red wine toiletries, and even a large umbrella add to the welcome. The unique shower setup—centrally positioned within the room—includes a privacy curtain for convenience. Overall, this apartment is perfect for anyone seeking a stylish, comfortable, and centrally located stay in Florence with an unforgettable view. We stayed for just 3 nights (second time visiting this apartment), and thanks to its prime position, we were able to see so much of what this beautiful city has to offer. The two nearby taxi ranks are also very convenient, especially since Uber isn’t widely available here.

I have stayed in the Dumo view with spacious terrace at Repubblica Firenze many times over a decade and I know from stay at other properties that the apartment is outstanding and an incredible value. The building greets you with a sense of order and modernity. So does the room, especially compared to other apartments. For example, the bathroom and shower are quite clean and modern, with strong water pressure and a great experience in the glass shower. The apartment is super quiet, with no street noise detectable, save for a siren now and then. There is only one other room on the floor and therefore super private and quiet. The kitchenette is functional, though I only use the fridge — it’s Italy! I go to restaurants. The view is dreamy and we invite friends staying elsewhere to join us before dinner. One couple liked it so much that they booked a stay for July 2025. The location cannot be beat, central to everything and in a famous, lively, joyous square.

Supply more than two towels please!

The host was very helpful and responsive at all times, they offered few solutions for the issues we had. The location is perfect, in the heart of Florence.

We had a jacuzzi in the middle of the room, the bath tub is actually in the middle of the room, no other shower in the bathroom, but theres a curtain that gives some privacy to shower. You have to go up a staircase to reach the room, keep into consideration for the luggage. There is no view as described, you have to go up few steps in the terrace to see the view.

Superb location, right in the heart of Florence and the view of the duomo is incredible! We were honestly shocked at the value you get for the price and were really grateful we found this place when we were booking hotels last minute. The space is equipped with everything you need and perfect for a couple's romantic getaway. They even left us with snacks and a full bottle of wine that made our stay really comfortable. We sat on the deck enjoying the view while sipping on our wine. They had an elevator that made it easy to get up with your bags (and then just a few steps to the door). The double rainforest shower was also a really cool feature I've never seen before. Overall, would definitely recommend!

The fireplace didn't work, but honestly I don't think we would've even used it. The toilet was hard to flush (had to press the button hard for 10 seconds to get it to flush). Some of the mist features on the shower didn't work, but that's just extra.

The Location was perfect. facing Republica square, at same building with Cafe 'Gilli' where the oldest cafe in Firenze! The building/property staff is stay until 7pm, and but need to contact to hotel to set your check-in time. Someone is ready for you to explain all amenities and will preparing if necessary thing you need such as more towels etc. Highlight of this room is the view and terrace. I enjoyed so much every moring to take-out some bakery and coffee then have great time to just looking fantastic Duomo in my apartment!

You should understand this is apartment. No room cleaning or hotel like service is available. For me, it was Ok, the great view can cover everything!

In brief, we loved everything about our stay. The apartment's convenient location allowed us easy access to all the sites we wanted to visit in Florence. The staff was fantastic, and the accommodations were superb. My highlight was the private rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Duomo. Rest assured, you won't be disappointed. Whenever I'm in Florence, Italy, this will be my go-to place as long as it's available.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience. The location was amazing, walkable distance to all the sightseeing. The apartment itself was not only comfortable but also chic, providing a perfect blend of style and coziness. It is located on the top floor of the historic building, offering breathtaking views that made our stay truly memorable. Additionally, the communication with the management was great, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Florence. Loved the location. The apartment is in an amazing location - walking distance from everything. Appearance and comfort fantastic - just as per the pictures. The little deck was great - and we loved drinking our wine there in the evening. Perfect place to stay would highly recommend.

Only complaint - we stayed for 4 nights and only supplied 4 coffee capsules - this felt mean. Also no milk. Other properties of this quality and price would provide adequate supplies for a stay - just avoids need to go shopping for this. Would have given 10/10 if not for this.

This apartment was right in the heart of Florence, 5 mins walk to the Duomo and you had a great view from the terrace. The bed was large and very comfortable, great air-conditioning with two temperature controls - one in the lounge area and another in the bedroom.

The shower is in the middle of a rather large jacuzzi so you had to climb in and out to have a shower. would have preferred a walk in shower.

I cannot tell you how fantastic this location is , you have to see the view from the apartment to appreciate how good it is. The apartment itself, whilst small has everything you need and done to a very high standard, the double shower is amazing. The terrace is just incredible with a 360 view of the surrounding area. Cafes, bars, restaurants, historic sight seeing are all within walking distance. the communication from the service team was first class and so responsive. so whilst for some it will look an expensive option, trust me the expense is worth it. Love this place.
