This was an apartment within a tall old building very close to the main square of Florence. After entering the main door, next to fancy shops, you enter the dark staircase and have to climb a few stairs before arriving at the entrance, which you need to enter with a code. The apartment was surprisingly well-equipped, with air-conditioning, good Wifi, good bathroom, and event a microwave, and a "hidden" kitchen in a cupboard. The room had also a vide. It was very well located in the very middle of Florence, and all museums and churches can be reached easily.

I had a major problem upon arrival. When ranging the front door of the building no one answered, so I entered when someone else left. On the first floor the same problem when I wanted to enter the rental units. It appeared that the owner had forgotten to send the entry codes before. It took a while to fund out the phone number and get this arranged. So please make sure to receive the entry codes before arriving.

Plenty of towels, large bottle of water, an extra sink and a bit of cutlery and dishes. Room was refreshed daily. An excellent location, right next to the Duomo and with taxis and other tourist vehicles right in front. It was very quiet and the air con worked well. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom well- equipped and a good size . The self check-in access was easy, once you got the hang of it.

No fan in the bathroom so you had to open the windows for ventilation . It wasn't easy to get clear instructions and communication with the host.

Super location. Very pretty rooms. Rooms had everything we needed for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The agreement with the garage to park the car is nice as well.

Finding the hotel based on the location online was not easy at first. It took us a bit to figure out exactly which "Duomo" hotel / location we were going to once we reached the city. The rooms with the view of the Duomo are nice, but because of the location it is loud at night. If you need it quiet you need a different room.

Great location, clear instructions. We never saw any hotel staff during our stay, which actually made it feel really smooth and hassle-free.

The beds could be more comfortable. Breakfast is provided in the form of coupons for a nearby coffee shop. it includes one pastry, a coffee, and water, which I had to ask for.

The location and the decor of this place is just breathtaking. It was perfect for 2 nights as the check-in and check out were very easy and straightforward. I felt very safe and comfortable staying here as a solo traveller .

The bathroom in my room, especially the shower needs an update it's a bit rusty. The pillowcases I had weren't the cleanest I found hair on them and some spots

Location is beyond expectations Reasonable room rates comparing to nearby hotels Rooms are super classic. Perfect place for both sightseeing and shopping. 7-10 mins walking to the central train station.

I booked the room supposing it's a hotel, however, I found out later that it's more an "Ai**nb" concept than being classified as a hotel. Not necessarily all people would prefer the remote management, the place itself is taken care by a room keeper Italian lady who speaks NO ENGLISH at all, but even though she was very cooperative. Notes Notes Notes are everywhere you look inside this "hotel" do and don't do ..

The location absolutely perfect. Space for 4 a little tight but the beautiful features and architecture made us look passed it. Beautiful high ceiling and huge Windows. It felt like a palace. There was a bottle of water, sweets and breakfast vouchers. Was a very lovely stay and communication was very easy and instructions clear. Perfect thank you

Wow! Absolutely stunning view of the cathedral, perfect location for sight seeing ! We decided to come to Florence for one night whilst we were staying elsewhere in Italy so this was perfect. Absolute amazing communication with host and value for money for location as we had parking available too which was cheaper than it would have been ! Clean room with perfect facilities included a cot too feee of charge

Great location!! Close to all the attractions! Place was clean and a/c was good which was highly appreciated during the hot month of June.

Sulphur smell from bidet. Probably common in these old buildings. Just run some water down it.

I loved the location, it's just near the duomo. Good breakfast with voucher at the local chocolate shop. I appreciated the cleanliness and free water.

I didn't like the view from the inner court and the noise from the outside AC's.
