The location was brilliant, we were close to everything. The kettle in our room and a small fridge for drinks was really useful. Francesco checked us in and gave us lots of great tips of things to see and where to eat. The bed was so comfy.

We booked and prepaid for breakfast which was supposed to be at The Hard Rock next door and we were really disappointed to find out we were given the vouchers for The Cafe Paszkowski, it was okay but the room was cold and the food was only okay. I would not pay for breakfast again.

Franco was an amazing host and gave us local information that helped us explore Florence for the first time. He even allowed us to leave our bags with him before and after checking in/out. The accommodation was equipped well with everything you could need and I especially liked the sparkling water machine! The location was perfect, this accommodation far exceeded our expectations and we would definitely come back in future visits.

The hot water was intermittent, working some times and not others. We figured this was due to the age of the building so it didn't bother us too much.

The location was very central. Close to everything. It was very quiet in the room which was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. Very tastefully decorated. It really does not feel like you’re in a hotel, which was the best part for us. Almost felt like you were on your own. There is a large space outside the rooms with comfortable chairs. We highly recommend this hotel. It was our first time visiting Florence. The location was excellent. So it made it easy to return during the day.

I would happily stay here again, it was perfect for what we wanted. The room was cozy, and had a little mini fridge we used to keep waters or appertivo cold. Francesco our host was amazing, he was so helpful and friendly and made great recommendations from day 1. Everywhere we ate or went that he recommended was amazing. I also loved the location we were so central and could walk to anything easily, as well as had a bit of a view of the duomo through our window. I would definitely recommend and I cannot wait to come back!

Francesco was very helpful and accommodating. He communicated about the check in time and waited for our arrival. We got a free room upgrade and was given a list of recommendations for restaurants and historical spots. Room is very clean. Sometimes, the cleaners open your room for the daily morning clean even if you are still in the room so make sure you answer immediately. There is no reception outside working hours but Franscesco is readily available to contact and responds immediately. Location is very central, everything is under 10mins walk and yet still very safe and secure. Will definitely stay here again!

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. It is not a huge room but perfect for two people. The location is exceptional and very central. The staff was quite nice as well and gave us local recommendations.

I could hear other guests, which disrupted my sleep at night. The following point is not the hotel's fault; the valet service that was recommended was unfortunately pretty bad. They constantly lied about timings, we waited for our car for 40 minutes. Again, this is not on the hotel management, but it's something to be considered by the future guests.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, ensuring a hassle-free start to my stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city. Additionally, the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a peaceful and quiet environment despite being in the bustling city center.

Difficulty finding the entrance to the building arose due to the fact that Google Maps indicated a different location. I recommend adding to the description how to easily find the entrance and including a map or photo.

Wonderful stay in Residenza Gambrinus. The location is perfect very close to all the important things to see in the city. The room is very nice, matching the pictures, stylish, clean, comfortable and very well arranged with coffee at disposal. We had a very nice welcome from Franco that gave us very good recommendations in the city that made our stay a wonderful experience.

Everything was perfect

We were so pleasantly surprised by the location and beauty of this room. It was a relatively short walk from the train station. The views from our room were fantastic. It was a perfect location for walking around the historic part of Venice. We will return to this place again. It was nice and quiet with a friendly staff.

I honestly did not find anything to dislike about this place outside of having to check in to another hotel at a location by the train station, but we got used to that after a month in Europe.

You can’t tell from the outside of the building how beautiful and comfortable this place is. It was the best choice, very good location, clean room and super comfortable! The staff was also communicative and helpful.

My only complaint would be about the noise from other rooms, sometimes you can hear a bit from the room next to you. And my suggestion would be for them to improve the hairdryer in the bathroom, the current is not very practical.
