The check in was easy using the Hotel della Signoria which was only a short walk from the apartment. The receptionist accompanied us to make sure we found it and explained everything inside. Very helpful as we were tired, having travelled on a long train journey there. The location was fabulous and the balcony a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in it. We decided to take the breakfast on the second day in the hotel and the breakfast room had a super view over Florence and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. In fact, we left an item behind when we travelled on and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff who recommended a courier to send it on.

Apart from the bathroom that was smaller than in some other apartment rooms we have stayed in on our travels in Italy, the apartment was really lovely so there really was nothing to dislike.

Fantastic room/suite. Beautiful view over the Piazza Della Repubblica. High ceilings, huge windows and has a separate lounge area where the sofa turns into another bed. Bathroom small but sufficient. Very clean. Lift is a life saver with all the luggage. Close to everything you need and not too far from the river.

Checking in at a hotel a couple of blocks or so away, dragging the heavy luggage back and forth to check in and then to the apartment over cobbled streets and 30+°c heat. The hotel may benefit from having a golf buggy to transport visitors back and forth, just as a convenience. It is a shared "kitchen" (coffee machine in a corner of the shared landing area). Would have preferred to have it inside the room.

Beautiful room in a very central location in Florence with an amazing view from the balcony. Super comfy bed and facilities were great with a little communal coffee station to enjoy an espresso or 2 throughout the day. Breakfast was fabulous located a short walk away in the connected hotel. Plenty of choice with amazing views of the Florence rooftops. Staff were great and very attentive. Some street noise during the night but to be expected for a very central location…short walking distance to all the sites….would definitely recommend!

Triple room meant we felt we had two rooms within for privacy yet we’re still staying together, loved the balcony to look out at everything bustling down below, at the very centre of beautiful Firenze. Loved the breakfast, freshly cooked omelette and bakery goods.

The noise outside at night, not the hotels fault !… wasn’t too keen on the hammering and building and construction works going on at 7:40am either on the floors above our room. Didn’t know this was going to be happening, luckily my earplugs saved me. Breakfast was served down the street which didn’t really annoy us because it was compensated by fact that it was so good me the staff were friendly and very obliging.

The hotel is located in one of the most famous squares in Florence. It is within walking distance to everywhere. The building is in that area and located on the 2nd floor, accessed with a private code to an apartment. It also has a kitchen with a coffee machine and a kettle. I stayed in room number 1. It was a quite large room, but despite its size, the bathroom was a bit small. Room cleaning is done daily at an average level. I did not experience any security issues. When I returned late, I had no problems as the area is safe. I would stay at this hotel again when I return. Checking in at the main building (3 minutes walking distance) was not an issue for me. I had chosen an accommodation with breakfast options. Breakfast is also in the main building and the menu is quite rich. The service staff are very polite and courteous.

The lighting in room number 1 needs to be improved, especially on the desk and wardrobe side. When the window is opened for fresh air, it gets filled with flies. It's urgent to lift the mattress and clean all the dust underneath, including the edges, and this should be done regularly. There were visible dust bunnies. For someone with allergies, it could be a nightmare.

Location is great. Everybody was complaining about the noise but it was nice to hear the life of the street. 2 mins from duomo and every attractions in Florence. We had very good 4 days there ❤️. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room has space to walk around.

It was clean but towels had grey spots like some stains couldn’t clean completely. They didn’t give slipper and we spent so many times looking for hotel slipper. But we couldn’t find it, Italians don’t sell slipper 😂 then we ask hotel and they gave us slipper. If you have already why don’t you put the room.

Superb location, fantastic space for a family of 4. Very clean and well maintained, lovely little communal coffee room to make a quick espresso. The view over the square was the icing in the cake for us. Yes breakfast is a small walk away but actually that was quite nice to see the local community in the morning, and breakfast itself was lovely. Staff in the sister hotel (where check in was also) were super helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Only critique was where breakfast was in terms of the room it was served - it gorgeous views of local land marks but was a total sun trap which was a bit uncomfortable in August.

Location was fantastic right in the heart of the Piazza Repubblica surrounded by restaurants, cafes, and retail & easy walking to train & most things. Our room was lovely, very roomy with a balcony & seating outside. Staff are very friendly & helpful. We had to go to their main hotel for breakfast but it’s literally a 3 min walk around the corner. Buffet breakfast selection was great, and the staff will cook egg dishes for you & bring tea & coffee - they were always welcoming & obliging. Would recommend staying here if you want to be in the vibrant heart of Florence

Great location, right in the heart of the city and super close to all the sites. And the balcony was amazing - loved having my morning tea overlooking the city.

Bathroom needed some work. Shower was really weak and towel rail was falling off. Also worth noting that you have to go to another hotel to check in and out. Only 3 mins away but bit annoying with suitcases.

The hotel is centrally located which was great. You might find the separate locations for sleeping and check in/breakfast unusual. However, I felt it worked well as it appeared to you going out to Breakfast assisted by the wonderful Roxanne (Only 300 metres distance). The room was a great size, the bed was large and very comfortable and liked small details like the small light at skirting level when going to the bathroom so you could see at night. We had a balcony which was a nice plus and rooms was cleaned every day. There is a communal separate area for tea/coffee etc A wonderful stay !
