The owner was extremely nice and attentive throughout our stay, the location was extremely convenient, and the rooms were well-kept and clean. We stayed in the room with its own bathroom, so I cannot speak on how the shared bathrooms look like- but if it is anything like the private ones then I have no doubts they will be clean.

This is not a dealbreaker at all, but know that the elevator to go up is kinda small so if you have a lot of bags it will probably require multiple trips.

We have visited Florence several times. This accommodation was in the perfect location with food and entertainment right out the door. It is on the 6th floor but there is a tiny elevator, like most of Europe. You had to climb about 3 steps to a landing, then about 8 steps to another small landing and then two more to the elevator. That is important to know for people who have a difficult time walking. The room was large and the shower had good pressure. The host had all we needed for our stay. The bed was firm, but perfect for us. It was also very quiet. Breakfast consisted of croissants, toast, juices and delicious coffee, just enough for a good start to the day.The owner, Danny, was very helpful and a gracious host. Right outside the door were great restaurants as well as evening singers on the plaza. You will be very close to the Duomo, great shopping, the leather market, the best museums and the Ponte Vecchio. (Also, a few good Irish pubs!) For a perfect location at a good price and a very good host, this is a great find!

Some first time Americans find something wrong everywhere they go in Europe. Sure things are different, foreign and or smaller than what most Americans are used to, but we could find nothing to complain about. Our grandson is 11 and he loved it, too! Location and value are two very good things to be grateful for at this place!

Amazing location, right in the heart of Florence. Clean, spacious with room with a huge bed. Host was amazing, even brought us a bowl of cherries one afternoon. Couldn’t recommend more :)

The room is on the 6th floor, there is a lift but you have to go up stairs to reach it so it’s not accessible. This did not affect our trip one bit :)

The room and bathroom was beautiful, clean and cool. The owner was lovely, very friendly and welcoming and allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived in town early before check-in time. The location was wonderful as well!

There was not breakfast, but honestly we forgot to ask about it so this was probably on us. Either way, it didn't put a damper on our trip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was in the heart of the city, right on Piazza della Repubblica. We couldn't have wished for a better spot! The host was lovely and very helpful. The room was clean, and the beds were really comfy. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Very good location, on a main square, right between Ponte Vecchio and the Cathedral, 15 min walk from the main train station. Very comfortable beds, with good mattresses. The room was spacious, with high ceilings. shared restroom was very clean and the shower was hot. We visited in December and the room was well heated. The host was very welcoming, we wished we could stay longer.

Be ready for a very small elevator to get to the B&B and you need to communicate with the host your arrival time upfront as it is not very obvious from the outside what to do when you get to the building. there is a bell you will need to ring but the entrance is shared with dozens of other businesses, I got confused first what to do.

Room was spacious, and comfortable. The fridge and kettle were very useful. Bed was large and comfortable. The manager was great about everything and very helpful.

You couldn’t be more central staying here at the B&B Dante Alighieri. The room is very spacious and clean, and has great air conditioning! The owner is very friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic location! Was very easy to walk everywhere around Florence from this spot! Some reviews mentioned it was loud at night but our room was super quiet during our stay, didn’t hear anything going on outside in the square!

Fantastic location (can’t get any better), owner friendly, welcoming and accommodated all our requests, breakfast was sizeable (pastries excellent especially the pistachio cream!, eggs, toast, juice, good coffee), room and bathroom clean and spacious (simple but worked for us), easy access with elevator, comfortable temperature, no noise from other guests.
