The location is possibly among the best in Florence, directly on Piazza della Repubblica, so the perfect location to explore all of Florence. The room (we booked the suite) was huge and clean and very friendly staff. Checkin was simple, at another site just 3 minutes walk away. We also used the carpark Michelangelo which was also very simple €70 for 2 days and is only 2 minutes from where you check in.

The biggest asset of this space is the location. For those who want to visit the attractions of Florence, it is perfect. All are accessible in 10-15 minutes. Ditto restaurants, minimarkets, luxury shops, market. The apartment is spacious, clean. Acces with lift is important.

First of all, the price-quality ratio. For the price asked, I think the quality of the apartment should offer better quality things. I'm not saying it's uninhabitable, but things are a bit tired. We have an oven but there's no toaster, there's no water heater so you can make tea, you don't have a dish towel. In the wardrobe for clothes, there's a storage space for brooms, clothes dryers, etc. In the bathroom, you're provided with a solid soap, ok, no problem, but then they also provide a holder for that soap so you don't put it directly on the bathroom furniture, which in reality was a suspended body, not for a stand-alone sink. The doors creak, in the evening you till midnight can hear the repertoire from the Hard Rock Cafe on the ground floor.

The apartment is located in an excellent area, very close to all the main tourist attractions, which made getting around extremely easy and convenient. However, when it comes to cleanliness, the apartment left much to be desired. The floors were very dirty — it was clear that they had not been vacuumed or mopped before our arrival. Since the property does not provide indoor slippers, our white socks turned black just from walking around inside. Another issue was the duvet, which didn’t have a proper cover. Instead, it was placed between two loose sheets that weren’t secured together, so with the slightest movement, the uncovered duvet would slide out — not the most hygienic arrangement. Also, although we stayed for two nights and there were two of us, only two coffee capsules were provided. It would have made sense to offer at least four, considering the duration of our stay. Overall, we were satisfied thanks to the apartment’s amazing location, but the cleanliness definitely needs more attention.

The accommodation was great, very comfortable and fab location.

I woke in the morning to find notifications from my phone authentication app and assume someone tried to hack my phone during the night while I was connected to the WiFi. Thankfully the app did its job.

The room was great - big bathroom. Great location.

The location is away from the main reception. Not a huge hassle but a bit of walking with suitcases. We also had some people talking very loudly/mucking around outside our room during the middle of the night which felt a little unsafe as they tried to get into our room at one point. With the reception not being close by this was a little concerning but we put it down to people being drunk and not really the fault of the hotel.

Top location 10 min on foot from the main train station, right in the middle of the distance between the Dome and Ponte Vecchio, situated in a beautiful, spacious building, with elevator. All very clean, the room was quite spacious, the water pressure in the very spacious shower was amazing. AC worked very well, does not blow straight on the bed, matress and pillows very comfortable. Very prompt communication.

Not entirely smooth online check-in procedure, be warned that their email address listed on booking.com does not work (or they do not receive mail at that address).

Beautiful location and stately accommodation. It was reasonable quiet. There were no concerns about security.

Checking in at a different location was problematic, but I later found out that it was just a misunderstanding. I was well informed that checking in was in a different location. It gets a bit noisy in the evenings, because the accommodation is right at the city centre. I must conclude that the accommodation and staff attitudes were very excellent. I will definitely use Antico Centro Suites again.

The location was absolutely fantastic! It was convenient, felt super safe and in the heart of Florence, all while being 5 minutes from the train station.

We only met two staff members during our, and they were rather moody, but we laughed it off. During our three day stay the room wasn’t cleaned once, so that meant no fresh towels and the bins weren’t emptied. The facilities were also minimal. We had a broken kettle and only plastic sticks to mix the coffee but that didn’t matter, as the coffee wasn’t provided…

The check in procedure was seamless. We got a taxi from the train station then walked to the apartment which was only a few blocks away. We were pleasantly surprised that we were right opposite the Piazza Repubblica which had lovely restaurants around the outside. Our apartment/room was spacious and comfortable. An added surprise was a complimentary continental breakfast each day with a coffee ☕ machine. It was so easy to walk everywhere from there.

Probably the best location on the best piazza in the nicest part of Florence. Despite being in a central location, it is super quiet inside the solid building. Clean, comfortable room, and elevator access to 4th floor made it really convenient to drop by for a short break between site visits. A great choice for anyone seeking to enjoy the heart of Florence.

Flat panel TV appeared to have a large number of Italian channels only so we did not use the set.
