Beautiful hotel that felt really upscale. The location is very central and perfect for finding your way around. The rooftop area where breakfast was held was amazing, and i thought breakfast was really good. Scrambled eggs are basically what i look for in hotel breakfast, and they had that, but they also had little croissant sandwiches, bacon, fruits, all kinds of things. Room was extremely large and comfortable, with a cool view to some of the architecture outside. The hallway to my room had a little alcove, with an old Italian black and white movie being projected onto the wall (no sound, just subtitles) and i thought that was super cool. Staff were super helpful when i asked questions, and also helped me get a 4am cab to the airport no problem, which i was very grateful for.

Internet was not working for a lot of my stay, which was a huge problem for me, but also a big problem for the staff. There are some really good coffee shops not far away to walk to for wifi though. Keep in mind this hotel is right in tourist central, so there is noise, and a bajillion people outside. I live in a city so i am very comfortable with noise at night, but if you aren't used to that it could be a problem.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the city center, making it very convenient to explore everything on foot. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and kind throughout my visit. Special thanks to Angelo P, Stefano, Angelo D, and Davide for their exceptional service. They made me feel very welcome and taken care of. A special mention goes to Davide, who went above and beyond by giving me a detailed itinerary and excellent tips for visiting Genoa. His guidance truly enhanced my trip. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location, very modern and trendy with great furnishings. Room was very clean and was exceptionally quiet, despite being in the centre of a very noisy city.

Very disappointing breakfast, poor selection, cold eggs, congealed bacon, no toast. Very limited selection of fruit and pastries some of which were stale. I mentioned this upon leaving and was told that the proper breakfast was served over the road at the Angel. It would have been nice to have been told this at some point in our stay. When we checked in we were not told about this. We look forward to a good hotel breakfast so this was particularly disappointing and did somewhat ruin our stay.

- Location, location, location! This hotel makes almost all of center Florence walkable, it is an ideal location to walk anywhere you’d like and that is above all else the best thing about the hotel. - All of the staff was very helpful and friendly, from check in all the way to check out, to include the front desk and waitresses that served breakfast. - It has free WiFi which was very reliable. - Strong air conditioning for the summer heat - Beautiful, eclectic rooms with exposed brick and the ability to completely close the windows to incoming light, which helped me sleep immensely. Huge shower as well! - This hotel actually has two locations right around the corner from each other, and each location has a restaurant. This comes in handy during long days of touring, and there is a discount for guests who are staying at the hotel. The dinner at Angel Rooftop was just okay, but the view and atmosphere were amazing. On the reverse, the food at Meze was A+, though expensive tapas, but not a rooftop so no views. - The breakfast at Angel Rooftop was amazing! Highly recommend. - Would definitely stay here again.

This isn’t a negative, more of a PSA. The Angel Rooftop bar is open to the public, so sometimes there is a long wait for the elevators once the restaurant opens at 5 PM. Be careful with that!

Location, quiet room, helpful staff…

I left a do not disturb light on and the maid didn’t honor it. The helpful front desk man said I needed to hang DND notice on my doorknob, too. Also, I had specifically asked if room service was available, then found the restaurant in the building was closed on the two nights of my visit.

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this beautiful hotel. The interior design is absolutely stunning, and every staff member was incredibly warm and helpful. The central location couldn't be more convenient for exploring the city - I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit. While there was a minor issue with hot water during my first two nights, the hotel manager handled the situation professionally and made sure I was well taken care of. The rooftop terrace was definitely a highlight - having breakfast there with panoramic city views was truly special. Despite the small hiccup, my overall experience was excellent thanks to the team's attentive service. This hotel clearly prioritizes guest comfort and satisfaction.

Beautiful property right in the center of all the activity in Florence. The bathroom was huge and very well appointed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

The noise outside was loud and easy to hear until late into the night. Because this hotel is so central, it was very loud on a Saturday night, and the walls to the outside were very thin. There also was a funky smell in a few locations, like in the hallway and stairs to the gym, but the room smelled fine. Biggest issue was the noise. Otherwise a lovely hotel and respite from the city chaos.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The location was central and easy to walk most places. I had a wonderful view from my room. My room had great decor and was very spacious. The staff was friendly, including the hotel bartenders. Nice to refill daily waters and espresso. Good chocolates at turn down was a nice touch.

The breakfast was very mediocre. However, it was decent when ordering from the menu instead of the buffet. The bed was fine but could have been more comfortable. The only other con was the noise at night. You can hear the music from the square nearby and then folks leaving the bars middle of the night. With a little white noise on my phone, it was fine.

this hotel was a real surprise - we didn't find it by a recommendation but simply from booking suggestions per location, and the photos looked great so we decided to cancel a booking we had in another hotel because this seemed a better choice, and we were a bit concerned because you can never know.... it turned out more than prefect!! first of all the location is the most center you can hope for - in the middle of the old city of florence, walking distance from everything. and the hotel.... wow!!! everyone of the staff members, from the receptions, to the bartenders, to the bellboy and the manager were just so nice and helpful. they helped me make an amazing surprise for my husbands birthday, and they added a surprise of their own for us waiting in the room. we got a room in the 4th floor, facing the street view, a really large and bright room, with amazing huge bed, quality bed sheets, comfy armchairs, there was room for everything, large windows, and really large amazing bathroom. really we could not expect more. they helped us with information about exhibitions and recommended attractions, they made reservations for us for dinner and lunch, and the breakfast coffee and croissant were delicious and free of charge. the hotel is decorated with beautiful art by Carmel Ilan, a well known Israeli Artist which I'm a fan of for many years now, and I only found out about it when we arrived. as an interior designer this was an inspiring experience and I would definitely come back to this fantastic hotel.
