Location, location, location!!!!! It was easy to get to our room from the train station. It was easy to get to all events and museums and churches and shopping.The room was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. There was proper storage space. The kitchen items were complete. Good water pressure.

Instructions about how things worked. The elevator didn’t work at check in because someone must have left a door open so we had to lug our cases 3 flights of stairs. The person checking us in failed to mention that you had to push a button before using the key, so we had to go back for directions. Three blocks away at 1:00AM. Then the key sparked when inserted to turn on the electric. When you take the key out for the day, the power is completely off, so the refrigerator didn’t work. Nothing was cold. NONE of these things would have been a problem if there were instuctions at booking.com or a page of communication in the room.

Location was excellent, right on the piazza . The room (studio) had everything one could need for - kitchenette and large sitting area. The bathroom was great, although the bath would be complicated to enter/ exit for someone with some type of physical impairment. The ceiling lights (illuminating the painted ceiling above the bed) went on suddenly late at night/ early morning, while we were still asleep for some unknown reason but it wasn’t overly bothersome. The reception staff at the central hotel booking were super.. really friendly and kind (with a great recommendation for Badiani ice cream nearby - definitely worth the visit!

It was nice! The location of the residence is the best. It is close to anything you want to see in Florence. You can go anywhere just having a 10 minutes walk.

I stayed there for 6 days and there was no service for cleaning (maybe there was with extra cost). I think it would be better a cleaning service every 3 days without charge. Furthermore, they give you a welcome box with cleaning items. This should be already in the room and for welcome box it should better to have a wine and some nuts.

Its proximity to so many things cannot be beat. The square is lively and fun and so many great restaurants and attractions close by. The room itself has lovely as well and the staff had great recommendations for places to see and eat.

Bring headphones if you have an early start and are a light sleeper. There can be singers and events in the square late in the evening. We found that charming but it might be a consideration for others. Honestly I just put in headphones and listened to music to fall asleep if we had early reservations for tours the next day and did not find it a bother at all. And you have to expect that comes with being right off a major public square with so many great attractions near it.

Large clean room on 2nd Flr in a large plaza - has a lift - we stayed 2 nights - everthing perfect - very central to anything you wish to see in Florence. Easy check in check in via hotel nearby.

Very large and spacious. So quiet and we were able to block out the sun and sleep well. Perfect we could store our luggage.

The bed was just ok, but it may be time to invest in upgrading mattresses.

I stayed in the studio apartment once and wanted more space so upgraded. This was a one bedroom apartment with kitchen and dinning area and by an internal staircase up to the mezzanine lounge/second bedroom area. Yes, lots more space than the studio. The building is in the plaza and feels very safe surrounded by upscale coffee shops and restaurants, department stores and within walking distance of everything. The Duomo 3 mins, the Uffizzi Museum 5 mins, etc. no transport needed. There is also a washing machine.

Although the space was large, the furnishings were sparse in the kitchen/dinning area. The kitchen has most of what one would need but there is only one square dinning table with 4 chairs. If one wanted to lounge a little, you would have to go to the bed in the bedroom or up the stairs to the small couch in the lounge. It would help if there were even a small upholstered chair or two in the dinning area. Not everyone can go up stairs.

The location was excellent - right in the heart of Florence, within easy walking distance of all the most visited attractions and destinations. Good value for money. The sound proofing from outside noise was excellent.

The TV had multiple channels, but ALL were in Italian and therefore unwatchable to an English-speaking person. There was an electric kettle but no suitable electrical wall socket to plug it into (The plug was of the European type, but all the wall sockets were of the Italian type). The lighting in the living room was inadequate, with one of the light fixtures not working.

Great Location. Easy check in. Attentive staff. Clean. Warm when the air conditioner was turned on. The airconditoner is not controlled by check in so you must call them if you wish to use it.

The bathroom is very small. The shower size would prove difficult for a person of stature. The toilet seat was not firmly attached. You could not use the jug to boil water in the kitchen area as there is no electrical socket available in this area! We needed to place the jug on the floor by the small bar fridge. Not ideal, especially if you had children moving around. There is limited crockery/cutlery.
