The room was comfortable and had a large bathroom. Good location and fantastic breakfast. Best breakfast we have had at a hotel. Very pleasant and professional staff. We liked how quiet the room was as well. You can walk to the main museums but there are no restaurants or bars in the area, which is a bit of a drag.

We could not get our room key to lock the door even though after asking more than once someone showed us how to use it. We thought that might be a bit better and more user friendly.

The room is huge with high ceilings, two mini-dressing rooms. Breakfast is good and tasty. The staff is very nice and pleasant, they explained how to enter the ZTL zone correctly and how to get to the garage, there was also a pleasant female waiter at breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance from the historical center, on the road on one street is the Accademia Gallery (museum with David), and then the street reaches the Сathedral.

New tram tracks are being built on the street in front of the hotel, so it's a little noisy in the morning, but the construction won't last long. And I want to note that you can wait a long time for the elevator to get to the upper floors (for those who find it difficult to climb on foot) There are no other significant shortcomings.

The room was spacious and well lit up. The breakfast area was very cozy and very nicely decorated for Christmas. Didn't get time to try full breakfast (only had coffee), but they were always welcoming even before the breakfast time. The place also has friendly staff. They also let us check-in early and had the room ready at our special request since we arrived before 12pm.

The shower area has no separation or curtain to avoid the water spillage. Also, the staff put the towels on the bidet which is not a very hygienic way of cleaning up the room. It was very very difficult to reach the place from the train station due to some construction work going on almost everywhere in the city. Also, the place seemed slightly expensive.

Breakfast was excellent, with a lot of selection. The staff were very accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location for the return tram to the airport could not have been better (opposite the hotel).

The lift was a bit awkward and broke down on the last day of our stay, though that was hardly the hotel's fault. The room was not exactly spacious.

- the location of the hotel is very good, only a few minutes walk to the most important places in Firenze, but still in a silent street - parking very close to the Hotel 3 min to walk - rooms are big, beautiful and very clean - staff is very friendly and helpfull - breakfast is ok - very good price / quality ratio

- parking fee was very high, around euro 40 per night and if u are picking up the car after 24 hours, they are charging euro 5 per hour…………

I liked the decore and design of the hotel/our room. It was clean, and the staff were amazing and always happy to help! May it be picking a restaurant or ordering a taxi for you. The breakfast that was included was great! It had a little bit of everything for everyone and was fresh. First stop on our vacation, and it was a great pick!

The AC in our room wasn't working, and so it felt super humid in our room. Especially when we had showers. We often had the balcony door open to help let the steam out. We only stayed for 2 days, so it really did bother us, but I could see it bothering some people. If this happens to you, just ask the hotel to see if they can fix it - they would have been receptive to it.

The people running Hotel De La Pace were amazing. It is a family run hotel and everyone at the front desk and bar area was super helpful at all hours. There is someone around 24 hours and they're the most helpful hotel folks I have ever met. Florence was very busy when I was visiting and my trip was hectic, but they always helped, found me a cab and solved any problem I had. Very grateful for their kindness. I love the area the hotel is in as well and the centre was a short walk away while this area was not over run by tourists and more peaceful. The hotel was clean and comfortable, I felt safe and well taken care of here.

Breakfast included and being able to walk to the centre of Florence. Bar open to residents which was nice when returning after dinner out. Comfortable bed with tea and coffee available in the room. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is well located, a short walk away from the center, but in a safe and accessible area. The hotel room is small, but the one on the 5th floor has a nice balcony with a side view of the Domo dome! This is a great place for Innocenti staff.

I really wanted something to eat at around 4pm arriving from overseas, and walked around looking for a restaurant..... one even recommended by the staff... and nothing was open (note restaurants close between lunch and dinner).
