What a fantastic hotel! The Hoxton Florence is brand new, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. It is perfectly located in a great part of Florence — very central but with a great neighborhood feel. The hotel is very stylish, the rooms are very well equipped, and you even receive two welcome drinks at the fantastic bar — such a nice touch! The staff were also super friendly and helpful, and the whole atmosphere of the hotel is really cool. You also have access to a well-equipped partner gym, which is great.

The only thing that could make it even more perfect, especially in the summer heat of Florence, would be a pool — but otherwise, it’s a wonderful hotel, and we would absolutely return. Highly recommended — we loved it!

Amazing design and food

This you see first: the quiet location, though super easy to access (via tram and by foot), the architecture. Then the staff is super kind and always try to fix things for you - and you can actually have real conversations with them - Chiara and another guy, with Peruvian and Japanese origins, whose name never got to know, were super nice people, I could have had coffee sitting with them tbh. Then the design and decoration overall is really good. Then experiencing the whole thing: everything works, the patio is super comfortable, the food and drinks are great... Honestly I felt home. Not being the most luxurious hotel I've been at, it is for sure the best hotel experience I've had.

My stay was too short (3 or 4 nights), could easily have stayed way longer.

I had a wonderful stay at The Hoxton Hotel in Florence. The location is excellent, with the T2 tram to the airport just a short walk away, making it very convenient to get around. From the moment I arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine — the staff are truly outstanding: professional, kind, and always ready to help. The hotel itself is set in a very quiet area, perfect for a relaxing stay. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully decorated in a modern style. The restaurant is exceptional — honestly one of the best in Florence — and the beautiful garden with its charming courtyard terrace is the perfect place to enjoy dinner in the evening. I also appreciated the seamless communication with the reception team via WhatsApp, which made everything very easy. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would book again in a heartbeat.

The hotel is so beautiful and meets all the expectations you will have of a Hoxton hotel. I have stayed in many across the world and its great to see one in the beautiful city of Florence. The rooms are wonderfully sizeable compared to some other city sites. The hotel is a short [10-15 mins] walk to the centre [duomo] on a populated and safe route that is well lit and I felt safe as a woman alone walking back at night.

This isn't a critique per se and I have lived and working in Italy before and so it's a personal insight but the service is sometimes very 'Italian' and so that is largely comical to witness but also sometimes not what you expect from a Hoxton which is usually friendly and welcoming service.

You have a REAL GEM in Caterina Bergami! From the moment we walked into your lovely hotel, she sparkled with vibrance and enthusiasm. She was extremely professional yet had a warmth that made you feel so welcome. We looked forward each day to talk with her. She is a real star who is exactly what you hope to meet when traveling in an unknown city. My wife and I hope to keep in touch with her because she is such a genuinely kind person. I know that Caterina's sister also works the front desk and shares all of her sisters qualities. We just somehow always seemed to gravitate toward Caterina. Everyone else at the front desk was equally warm kind, helpful and professional. The maid service was fantastic. The server for our breakfast (I wish I could remember his name) always greeted us with a warm Buongiorno, and was extremely professional. We had a wonderful stay and wished we could have stayed longer,

We had the breakfast included with our stay. The buffet was sumptuous and fresh. The pastries were amazing and the kitchen prepared wonderful eggs and bacon every morning. However, at times, they seemed to be a little overwhelmed when guests traffic became very heavy. But it did give us a peaceful chance to sip our coffee and plan our day.

The hotel delivered a really enjoyable stay. The staff were genuinely warm and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, which made a big difference. The location is excellent — close to everything, yet still peaceful enough to relax after a long day. The food was a highlight, especially the tiramisu, which was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel. Everything was kept spotlessly clean, and the rooms felt comfortable, cozy, and full of character. The overall vibe of the hotel is welcoming and stylish, making it feel more personal than a standard chain. On the downside, there are no facilities like a gym, spa, or pool, which would have elevated the experience further. Overall, a charming hotel with great service, food, and atmosphere — perfect for travelers who value comfort, cleanliness, and a touch of local charm. Bonus point for the Caffe!

Our cosy room was perfect for what we needed. We had a really comfy mattress. The room was perfectly clean. Toiletries were all provided which was perfect. Clean towels every day. Fridge in the room with water and milk provided. If you wanted/needed more of these you just had to ask at reception and they were brought to your room! Tea and coffee was also provided and you could ask for as many teabags as you wanted from reception!

The breakfast could have had a little more choice on the cooked side. We were told we could only have a choice of eggs but then overhead (and saw) some other guests having guacamole, bacon and sausage brought to their table. We thought there could be options of a softer pillow. We slept fine, but could have slept better with a softer pillow. My partner said the pillows were perfect for him though so might just be me being fussy!

We had a fantastic stay at the Hoxton for our honeymoon! Our bed was so comfy that I emailed the team after our stay to find out what brand the mattress is and bought it for my own home! We stayed in the 'Roomy Terrace' with the outdoor bath and it was lovely to sit in there at the end of each night with a glass of wine. The team there were always so friendly and helpful, we'll definitely be back.

The only feedback we would give is the breakfast selection and to make it a bit clearer what the breakfast is. When I booked the room on booking.com with the daily breakfasts added on, I thought this would be from the hotel restaurant Alassio which has a fantastic looking menu but the daily breakfast from the hotel is actually a continental breakfast with a small selection of hot food/eggs.

Everything!! The beds were exceptionally comfy. The room was exceptionally clean and smelt fantastic upon arrival! The entire hotel was possibly the most aesthetically beautiful hotel we’ve ever stayed in - every item visible or surface appeared to have been carefully considered and selected and then finally positioned to amount to a wonderful environment. Our only regret is that we can’t move in as permanent residents! We will miss the hotel staff - everything they did was with speed, care and with a smile. We can’t wait for our next stay!
