We LOVED our stay at Veruska and Gianluca's Barberini dream! The breakfast was delicious everyday. The room was comfortable and the location was PERFECT. We walked everywhere or used the metro if we needed to get further and it was very convenient. Veruska was kind enough to book us a taxi to the place and it was very comfortable. She gave us amazing recommendations and also got the room cleaned everyday. We got free breakfast in bed along with unlimited coffee, tea and alcohol drinks from the mini fridge that was restocked everyday. There were also snacks and free vanity kits if needed. The room and bathroom were very beautifully designed! The shower had hot water and we had fresh towels whenever we needed. The area can get noisy on a Saturday night but it wasn't that bad at all. Veruska gave us earplugs if needed and also gave us a fan since it was a little warm in the room and that worked great. Overall 10/10 experience would highly recommend and we can't wait to come back to Rome and stay here again :)

We had a great experience from start to finish. A beautiful intimate guest house, with a lovely room and beautiful four poster bed. We loved the roof terrace, despite it being February, the views are incredible. Coffee makers in the room were a nice touch and we had excellent service from the couple running it, as well as some great recommendations. The indoor market is superb, I could have spent all day there!

Nothing really, although one of the recommendations was not great. If you're going- Trattoria Tiberio is not worth the visit- the staff are rude and the food is pretty basic. There are far nicer places in Florence. The location is about a 10 minute walk from the centre, which some people might not like- but worked very well for us.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The recommendations they gave us for lunch, dinner and drinks were all excellent. Quiet and comfortable B&B, really felt like home. We absolutely loved having our coffee on the roof terrace! Truly unforgettable experience :)

The property was charming, well located at the fringes of the action so you could escape the crowds when you wanted. The roof top terrace was the highlight, having breakfast or afternoon cup of teas it was perfect place. The snacks and drinks were a welcomed addition. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Florencia went through all the best places to go including coffees and dinners away from the crowds. She had some great advice! I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay somewhere with a bit more of a local feel but close to the action as well.

Stayed 3 days mid December in a Single Room. Perfect size room for single traveller with 2-4 day itinerary. Warm, quaint, and cosy interior. 15 to 20 minutes walk to from central Piazza with numerous cafe and restaurants on the way. Separated far enough from the center to have generally quiet street. Front desk staff available 9-5 but very helpful - great recommendations on local restaurants and cafe. Great value for money.

Not sure if there is any lighting available over the building stairway. At night, it was pitch black dark and it was tricky to walk down the stairs.

I loved the location because it was quiet, walkable to all of the old city cites and near little stores, etc. The staff is helpful, responsive and friendly. Florencia was my favorite and she communicated with us over What’sApp and it is easy to ask questions or ask for help ahead of time or even after (I left something in my room and they were very quick to help me find it and are working with me to have it returned!) They also help to navigate bookings (taxi and restaurant recommendations). Room was more spacious than I thought, with comfy beds, A/C, a little fridge, safe, coffee machine and a large shower with good water pressure and hot water! Upstairs they have out snacks / drinks and have a cute outside terrace for coffee and drinks with a beautiful view of the city. I had breakfast coffee and enjoyed the small lavender hedge. I highly recommend - great value for the price.

The only thing that could have been a bit better was the Air Conditioning. We were there in July and it was sooooo hot. AC in Italy is not standard, so even having it was a huge benefit. It just seemed that it didn’t ever get super cool in the room; however, it was more than acceptable.

Loved the greeting and being provided a map of the area and how to find our way around. There was no breakfast, however they do provide a FOC snack bar which was more than sufficient. The Double bed was actually 2 singles pulled together. But that was my only picky point. Their communication views on the terrace are great, where the local cat(s) do like to join you, although they’re not invited into the hotel. Their communication and wishing you a good stay were exceptional.

Staff (Danielle and Alissa) are amazing and most helpful. Danielle gave us thorough overview of the property and after that some great suggestions for visiting Florence. Room was big and clean. Bathroom was also clean. We liked the bed as well. Daily housekeeping. Very nice terrace. Location is good. In a quiet and safe neighborhood. (20 minutes walk to Duomo). Few good restaurants nearby (2-5 minutes walk). Snacks are always available at property. When in Florence, this place is a great choice. Recommended.

Solo female traveler here. Like home away from home. Charming building with modern comforts, great water pressure and comfy mattress. QUIET at night. Windows with screens made sleeping a delight! Breakfast is no longer served but my room had a nespresso coffee maker and kettle. The common area also had a nespresso, kettle, water, toaster and an ample assortment of packaged croissants, etc to get your day going. There was a common refrigerator that I used to store yogurt, fruit etc that I purchased at the grocery store. Danielle and Alessia are excellent and responsive hosts. and I shared a lovely conversation. Beautiful rooftop deck to enjoy coffee and wine. As a solo female traveler I felt comfortable walking back late at night. Streets are well lit. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Everything was incredible. The apartment is very charming, the rooms were very clean and bed was the most comfortable we've had so far on our trip of Italy. They have a continental style breakfast that was delicious and honesty bar where you can buy drinks. The staff were PHENOMENAL. So kind and considerate, and all of the recommendations for restaurants and sights were wonderful. Very walkable, with lots of shopping and restaurants and sightseeing within 5- 15 minutes. Also the best part was the roof top patio. Incredible views! It was better than most rooftop bars and restaurants we went to! Absolutely recommend.
